So I've used Jaybird for years now, going from their X range, through Taras, then Vista and Vista 2's. Logitech bought the brand and I thought "oooh good, some firepower behind them, these out to get brilliant!"
And then they killed Jaybird off instead. š¢
Now that one of my Vista2's is misbehaving, I spend ages researching for some sporty replacements and was excited by the ANC and call quality reports of the Jabra Elite active range....
Only to discover they're exiting the earbuds market š«š«
So I'm looking at:
- Sennheiser Momentum Sports
- Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise-Cancelling Earbuds
- Sony Linkbuds fit
Any views on the above 3 on the basis of those criteria? Or any other options I should be considering? (NOT looking for open earbuds like Shokz, and wont buy Beats on principle.)

I posted yesterday about how insomnia has finally led me to needing to quit drinking bc I canāt continue on this way (not to mention chest pain, liver pain, acid reflux, anxiety, mood fluctuationsā¦). Last night was night #1 of sobriety and I was so scared of what was in store for meā¦ I DID take a sleeping pill to help, and ended up getting 6.5 hrs of sleep! Certainly not enough but more than Iāve had in weeks! Added bonus is that my heart wasnāt racing, I didnāt need to take extra shots of liquor to fall asleep/in the middle of the night when I canāt sleep and I woke up feeling fresh as a daisy! No shakes, no anxiety, nothing. I was just so desperate to get out of the cycle of drinking then getting barely any sleep and trying to function on top of that. Taking my family out ice skating bright and early to celebrate!
