Hi, i am interessted in your opinions about what the "most risk balanced" euphoric / recreational stimulant (including RCs) is.
For context: I have my life in pretty good order. I still enjoy a little bit of degenerate recreational stim euphoria from time to time, lol.
Over the past 10 years, I tryed out many: Meth, Amphetamine, MDMA, 3MMC, A-PVP, A-PHP, A-PCYP, more functional stims like 3-FPM and more. I want to know, which one have the best mix between adverse / negative side effects and euphoria? The ideal recreational euphoric stim has little side effects, a manageable comedown even after a 24h binge, great euphoria (but not too great - the findieshness should be manageable) and a low risk for psychosis and other mental side effects.
Whats your suggestion?

My wife was watching one of those baking programs, and one of the contestants was criticised because the fancy chocolate decorations on top were broken. I imagined to myself this dish being offered to somebody who hasn’t eaten because of famine et cetera, but refusing to touch it as it wasn’t perfect. A first world problem. My complaint is that if I am in my bedroom, I need a screwdriver or similar thing. It’s a long way to walk to the end of the barn in order to find one. But this is not a story I would care to share with all those poor souls who sleep on the cardboard in the wind, rain or snow. What is your first world problem? That is actually not a problem at all?

With all the Helly theories (which i love) I feel like there’s a point the writers were trying to make that’s going a bit under the radar: the innies and outies are more than ever NOT the same people. And this changes the whole game because the goal for their freedom is no longer escaping or even reintegrating.
This separation was always there and had been getting stronger during s1 but the innies still wanted to escape to see what “their real lives” were like. Now that they’ve been outside and have developed personal connections at Lumon, I think they understand more than ever that their outies are completely different people from them, especially Helly for obvious reasons but even Mark seems conflicting over learning that his outie has a wife (who he has met) meanwhile he has fellings/a crush on Helly. Even Dylan, who sees his outie’s child as his doesn’t simply want to become is outie, he wants to see be with his child as “himself”, as a innie.
This is super interesting because it means that when Milchick gives them the option to not return, that isn’t a win for Helly even though that’s all she wanted in s1, it would just mean dying and letting Helena live. I feel like this could also explain some of her weird behavior in ep 1, though I also like the Helly/Helena theories. I guess my main point here is I don’t even know what “winning” means or if that even exists for innies because even reintegration doesn’t make much sense given how different these people are and somehow that is a positive for Lumon because the only way they can exist as themselves is in that severed floor.

Hey! We’re looking for writers for Long Form gaming compilation style videos.
The videos have a view time between 20-30 minutes but with an average word count of 1000-1500 words (majority of the video is footage) and the scripts at $100 to begin with. You will be working alongside a Director with a full script structure which will aid with the writing a great deal. Sticking with a consistent schedule of one video per week. And although the concept and starting examples will be given with a structure of what to include in each part, creative control is given of course in terms of techniques used.
Ideal Candidate
- Mainly a sophisticated understanding of how to present the content in an entertaining way that conveys emotions in the viewers making them interested and in turn, watch for longer.
- Communication is VERY important within the team, as well as punctuality. Please do not continue if you can't commit long term. A very advanced level in English is required for understanding and writing, although lots of experience in this style is not necessary.
- Someone who understands YouTube quite well, has an interest in researching different topics and seeing them in video format.
Job requirements
- Writing experience of gaming/YouTube content (So you know how to write for it being read out loud as opposed to just read by a reader). This doesn’t have to be commercial experience, but a portfolio of previous work and a test piece will help a lot.
- Discipline and time compliance. We work with plenty of time so there will never be a rush, but because we work with editors, designers etc. you need to be punctual and commutative.
- Willingness to improve, take criticism and give your own thoughts on improvements. Sometimes what is good on a written piece may not be what is good for a read out loud script for a video. This is where there will likely be the most adapting.
- Potentially part-time to eventually full-time availability.
Note: I will send an example script so you have all the formatting if we decide to go ahead with it.
