2025.01.18 18:20 spoon_bending Is it better to shower at night or in the morning?
I take two showers a day and plan to continue. I evidently am doing something wrong because I try using the drysol and the oxybutynin and it doesn't seem to stop armpit sweat. Or maybe it's my armpits needing some type of detox or something. Like I read about people unclogging their pores with clay masks and I think I might try waxing them to rip off the antiperspirant (?).
I use deodorant in the morning after my shower even though drysol instructions say not to. I also sometimes use topical antibiotics and zinc oxide powder or ointment to stop bacteria from my armpits making it smell if I sweat.
Maybe it's partially high anxiety which I read makes sweat smell worse. I had one day where I didn't sweat or even notice stress sweat odor coming through my deodorant (clinical strength) and it was after washing all my clothes in odoban and then using the prescriptions. I don't know what to do in order to fix this.
Do you guys shower the morning after or leave the drysol on your skin all day the next day after applying at night per the instructions? Do you wear anything over drysol or do you think not using anything over it actually helps? Did you ever use any of the armpit detoxes? Please inform
I want to get my routine perfect to repeat every day instead of experimenting and then wondering what is working or not working based on changing every day. I think if I found one routine that worked and stuck to it it would be better and help me repeat that day where I didn't sweat or have my deodorant fail at all. Please advise.

Hey all. Looking for some advice. I've had these boots about a decade. They were my favorite for many years. Unfortunately, the sizing was a little off, and I wasn't always the best about wearing thick socks, leading to a lot of wear inside from my heels. As you can see in the photo, it's gotten to the point that the threading and leather are worn out all the way through to the stiff heel counter.
I went ahead and ordered some tongue pads from Pedag--memory foam covered in suede. Seems like a more resilient option to regular heelslip pads, and I ordered enough to also use for their intended purpose and hopefully cut down on this in the future.
But is there a more permanent option that wouldn't involve completely taking the boot apart? My old cobbler (now retired) suggested there might be something he could do...I always imagined he meant stitching some leather over it, but perhaps it was so intensive he was hesitant?

Hi. So first of all I am just a student of class 12 in India and in my country it is a very rote learning based education system and I always wanted to crack out of it. Hence I watch videos of Veritasium a lot like alot. Recently he made a video about Law of Action and I was wondering about its applications and if it even is true. I then forgot about cz i couldn't do anything about it. Today in my tuition i leant that Electric Current will not pass through a Reverse Biased Diode if another Forward Biased Diode is connected to the circuit in parallell. This made me wonder if the Law of Action is true, because why do electrons moving in a loop want to minimise time? Then i thought if it may be related to entropy. Because look at it from a general perspective; In an engine heat and sound are produced which make it impossible to make a 100% efficient engine (2nd Law of Thermodynamics). Then why is entropy, basically a random behaviour there? What is trying to be minimised by energy or is even energy trying to minimise it? Electric Current will not pass through a Reverse Biased Diode if another Forward Biased Diode is connected to the circuit in parallell, so along the same lines are we forcing work on the engine when the easier way for energy to be released is heat? And if so is energy minimising time or action.
Again pls don't judge if it is totally stupid, but if it is not then please give me some answers

Hello,
I was wondering if you could help me concerning a tax return situation from overseas?
I live in Europe and I don't have access to my Australian phone number anymore, so it's impossible for me to log in to MyGov services to be able to lodge in my tax return. I can't create a new account since I don't have an Australian number. There's no email contact I can write to. I've also called MyGov services, but wait times just mean it's going to cost me an arm and a leg in call fees (cost me 10 euros just to get to the wait time announcement). I've been trying to find a solution for some time now.
I want to get this sorted as I don't want to be convicted of tax evasion in another country, and I'd love to return to Australia, I love the place.
The only solution I found is that I can send my tax return by mail, but that means I'd have to fill in all the information that I would have had pre-filled by the ATO online, which I'm not sure I have.
Is there any way to bypass this phone number system?
Is there an email address that I can write to ?
Or is there a way to get all this pre filled information so I can do this by hand and send it off by post?
If you have any help or solution, I'd be eternally grateful.
