I really wanted to like Leantime, and I do like the look and feel, but it's just too naggy. They seem to go out of their way to litter the interface with premium links that take you to their store page, and if I'm going to the trouble of self hosting a service, I don't really like that service constantly telling me I'm a peasant. Admittedly what really pissed me off is that you can remove these links and just hide the premium features... for a fee. A subscription fee. I think I'd be willing to pay $3-$5 as a one time thing, but there's no way I'm paying a subscription fee just to hide features I'm not paying for. That crossed the line, so unfortunately Leantime has gotta go.
My use case is simple organization of various personal projects, some software and some not. I like being able to jot down a list of requirements into tasks and tackle them one at a time. I use Gitea as my code repo and Bookstack as a wiki, so I don't really need any of those features in a work tracker app. I use Authelia for SSO, OAuth2/OIDC is an important feature since everything else supports it. All of this is on a k3s cluster. Currently this is for hobby/personal projects, though there's always the dream of doing some professional consulting work down the line (in which case I might reconsider Leantime if the pricing is reasonable, and if it turns out they do things others don't).
Things I value:
- Ability to organize by project. I have quite a few different ones at any time, it's nice to be able to open up a project dashboard and remember where I left off.
- Snappy user interface is quite important. Usually when I'm starting a project, I like to jot down ideas quickly, Jira in particular is hit or miss because of a slow and clunky UI. I already struggle a bit with organization, so a tool that feels like it's working with me is pretty important.
- OIDC/SSO integration is a requirement.
- API access is a heavy plus for automation
- CalDAV integration is nice to schedule time blocks for tasks, but not a deal breaker
- Integration with Gitea is a plus
- Dashboard/metrics is a plus
- Helm chart or reference k8s manifest is nice, but certainly not a deal breaker
- Plane: Same problem, lot of paywalled features and naggy about a subscription.
- Vikunja: Looks pretty tempting and has an official Helm chart, which is a plus. I'd say this is the frontrunner at the moment.
- Worklenz: I haven't heard of people using this one before, but it looks decent enough, if maybe a little limited
- Tillywork: Looks interesting, if basic. I see on their website that "agile project" is coming soon, whatever that means.
A note on paywalling: I do understand that software dev takes money and I wish the devs the best. Unfortunately I don't have the answer for how to correctly monetize an open source project, and maybe this is really the best way. Hell, $120 a year for all the features for a few users isn't really that bad (though the individual plugins are quite expensive, more than I'd be willing to pay). I don't begrudge folks for asking to be paid for their work, but at the same time their methods are a bit too irritating for me, and I'm currently just looking for a way to manage hobby projects, so it's just not a good fit.

I do not remember a lot nor do I have pictures but I can tell you what I remember and add on if I remember more
1) It was on games2girls.com around 2007-2010 Adventure section 2) I think it had something to do with elements 3) The character you play is thin and white ( I think so, I also dont remember having the option to choose an avatar) 4) There is calm music for the bg 5) The initial stages have your character running through a forest-ish ( I mean its like Imagine bounce, the front layer that the player runs on is straight grass but it was somewhat forsest themed) At one point there are also section where you have to jump while avoiding rocks falling from sky)
