2025.01.18 23:00 newenglandowner Click/crack noise underneath when turning the wheel on 2025?
I’ve had my new 2025 sport for 5 days. I’ve noticed there is a very audible crack/pop noise from underneath the car when turning the wheel, usually when turning hard. It’s not every time but it’s pretty frequent.
Guessing this isn’t normal but curious if anyone else noticed it. Maybe it’s a break in period thing?

Last night me (19F) and my boyfriend (19F) had a harrowing experience with his friend since middle school. We played video games with him because he was lonely and he confessed his feelings for me last night in dms. I just wanna know what he could’ve thought would come of this. I even asked and he said he didn’t know.
He said nothing I did was mistaken for romantic attraction, and he just developed these feelings on his own. I will say I bought him a video game to play with us, because I perceived him as a friend and I like playing with him. Could this have been the culprit? I just don’t know, but I feel kind of defeated.

Just looked up the whole USILACS thing after seeing it on a post here and basically it’s a group of JWs making huge amounts of money by scamming other JWs into joining their college and handing out fake degrees, this got me thinking are there other JWs who make money off of this cult outside the Governing Body? Now that I think about it it’s funny how there’s only a few people assigned to handle the finances of congregations and whole conventions, with something as unpredictable as voluntary donations no one can be like ‘hey the contributions are supposed to be higher’ if someone pockets some of it no one would even know and we haven’t even gotten to the guys in charge of all the money coming in on a global scale. Of course I could be simply talking nonsense cause I’ve never gotten high up enough to know what clearances are in place and the kind of security around that thing but to me it looks stupidly easy to just steal money if you’re given a certain position, after all what’s a couple thousand dollars to a multi million dollar organization that pays its employees with absolutely nothing, it would just slip through the cracks. There simply has to be a couple JW fat cats

I replaced my phone today and went about to re log into OTP but it's asking for an account management registration password and directs me to account management via the app. But account management wants OTP to even get in Is there another site or something? Cause I cannot fathom a system being so backwards as to require the passcode when you're trying to re validate that very thing.

Wanted to hopefully get some helpful feedback on this hand and if I should have adjusted my play.
Live MTT, only third round, so everyone is fairly even in their stacks (I had about 10k personally). Blinds 100/200, full table.
It folds to me in SB and I decided to just call with Ac3s because BB has been raising like every pot in these positions since he knows I can be fairly tight, but BB checks his option.
(Pot 400) Flop is 2s 5c 4c, I bet 225, BB calls.
(Pot 850) Turn is 2c, so now the board is paired, possible flushes and straight flush too. I bet 600, BB calls.
(Pot 2050) River is 6s, I bet 1,000, BB calls and shows 7s8s for the bigger straight.
Villain had a gut shot after the flop, didn’t have clubs, so I was surprised he called me all the way, and even a few others at the table commented that. He told me how my bet sizing gave him way too good of a price to stay in the hand. Is that accurate, despite him having only 4 outs? Should I have bet bigger, or perhaps checked the turn and raised if he bet?
Not sure if it changes anything, but this guy tends to bet with air quite a bit, even into multiway pots. He knows I’m tight, so when he didn’t fold to my flop bet, I assumed he had a pair or two, or maybe even hit trips by the turn.

Do you guys trust the academic and peer reviewed studies into the Shroud that show the perfect 3d rendition of a man from the early to mid 1st century?
I mean even today, creating a perfect image of a man with cuts all over his body, wounds on his hands and feet, the minting of Tiberius' coins over his eye lids, his hair style being correct with the era, blood in the shroud being perfectly in line with how it would have been absorbed and corroded over the millennia, with literally 0 imperfections with the few being restorations that were made in the 13th century.
Does anyone actually expect medieval forgers to do all of this and then somehow make the image of a man with an ATOMIC level of light and energy (which we STILL cant do to this very day) for a simple forgery?

My husband’s brother's (let’s call him Dean) girlfriend (33) is the most immature, abrasive, annoying woman I’ve ever met. Even though she is older than me, she has the cognitive ability of an 11-year old girl. It all started when I noticed my brother-in-law, after a long period of being single due to a previous abusive partner, started posting pictures on Facebook draped around a scrawny girl with glasses. Little did I know that liking a photo of them together would trigger a friend request from this girl I knew nothing about, except that she was getting cozy with my husband’s brother. Being nice, I accepted the request to see if they were actually dating.To my surprise, they had only been dating for a few weeks, according to her cringey two-month anniversary Facebook post. She also has a son from a previous relationship, with whom she only has supervised visitations. Given my brother-in-law's past relationship with a partner who faced custody issues with her own kids, I hoped he would take things slower and be more cautious this time. Next thing you know, she privately messages me, 'Hello, I'm your sister-in-law.” Almost immediately after introducing herself and asking me a few intrusive questions she tries to establish some sort of dominance by saying she's a few months older than me. Five minutes into the conversation she asks me to help plan her wedding. To which, I replied, 'You're engaged? That's sweet.” “Not yet, but soon," she said. Considering my husband and I moved to the total opposite side of the country four years ago, I thought it was a strange request from someone I've never met in person and even more strange they were already talking about marriage. But, being the people-pleaser I am, I responded that I would help as much as I could from a distance. She then proceeded to ask me more intrusive questions, and somehow my husband's mom, Melanie, was brought into the conversation. When I answered, she corrected me on the name my mother-in-law prefers to be called. 'You mean Mel? Dean's mom?!' I've known my husband's family for 10 years, so I'm pretty sure I know what she prefers to be called. But I let her correct me because she seems like the immature type who would take offense to being corrected. This strange exchange made me want to take a closer look at her profile to see what Dean was getting into. The top of her profile is a pinned post about being abused as a foster kid over thirteen years ago, and it seems like she's made this experience, along with dating my brother-in-law, her identity and can't let it go. She also posts stories of herself singing along to country music, shares bizarre videos, and posts cringey statuses with typos that make no sense, all about her opinions on the most ridiculous subjects. The few comments on her posts are from her 'friends' either making fun of how unreadable they are or telling her it’s time her to move on from the trauma she experienced. As the months rolled by, her messages trickled in sporadically, often starting with casual small talk like 'What’s up?'. Occasionally, she would share updates about her tumultuous job situation—either grappling with the challenges of a new position or lamenting her ongoing search for employment. It seemed her professional life was perpetually plagued with difficulties. Eventually, my family went on a trip, and I received a random message from her wanting to FaceTime. I told her that I'm on vacation and my Wi-Fi was terrible, but I could do it when I got home. You could tell she was a little offended—I'd argue even a bit jealous—that I was on vacation and had better things to do than FaceTime with someone I've never met in person. She left me alone after that. Once I got back from vacation and settled in, I noticed she was posting about un-a living herself because she was abused as a foster kid and not being able to see her son as often and getting fired from the fifth job she’s had that year. When I inquired about her foster care experience, she recounted that they were verbally abusive, calling her ugly, but she never mentioned any physical abuse. I shared that my father had been in foster care after being given up by his dad, and although it was a tough journey, he managed to overcome it. When she silently glared at me, I sensed that she took offense at my attempt to relate, as she seemed to crave the response of, 'I'm so sorry, you're the victim, you deserve all the attention,' rather than understanding. She didn't seem to appreciate my perspective, and soon enough, the call got 'disconnected.' Of course, it was transparent—she had no interest in hearing me out; it was all about her.I called her back to show that I was making an effort and genuinely didn't want her to harm herself, especially after seeing her posts about un-aliving. With a smug grin, she quipped, 'Wow, I guess you really want to talk to me,' basking in the attention. Just two minutes into the call, she abruptly said she needed to go and would call me back. Of course, that call never came, and honestly, I couldn’t care less. That brief Facetime call revealed everything I needed to know about her. She has continued to message me occasionally ever since but her most recent message was particularly annoying—she asked me how to pronounce my name. Given that I've known her boyfriend longer than she has, she could've just asked him. Obviously, she did it just to irritate me. So, for a bit of fun, I gave her the wrong pronunciation to troll her. One thing that really gets my goat is her endless Facebook posts about wanting a baby with my brother-in-law, and quiz results that she will get pregnant in 2025, even though she doesn't even have custody of her own son.What really takes the cake is her latest life update: she announced that she took out her birth control and is now trying for a baby—specifically a girl—with him. As if I would ever want my daughter to share the same DNA as one of her kids. Just the thought of it is enough to make me cringe. She’s like a train-wreck-you can’t look away from.. You could say I'm being petty or a mean girl, but I'm not the only one who finds her unbearable. My mother-in-law isn’t fond of her either. I guess the few times my mother-in-law sees her she’s in tears over something. Not to mention, she never lifts a finger to help them with dinner and has a knack for complaining about everything. My poor brother-in-law tries to cheer her up, but she just screams at him, turning their visits into an awkward reality show episode.One of her Facebook friends even called her out for laughing at her sister having to cut her hair for chemotherapy. Now that's a new low. It’s been a little over a year and I feel bad for my brother-in-law, who is shouldering the mortgage, a payment for a new car he bought her two months into dating, and her phone bill—all while working tirelessly. Meanwhile, she can't hold down a job because of her mental health issues, which she refuses to address. I don't want him entangled in another toxic relationship, but ultimately, it's his choice. With her birthday approaching and rumors of a proposal, I'm dreading the flood of wedding planning messages. I've already decided not to get involved, but I'm struggling to find the words to politely bow out and to pretty much avoid my brother-in-laws house if we were to go visit his family across the country.

I’m new to this forum and have been reading many posts about TRT. I recently started TRT and am receiving .70 once a week. My initial test results showed my testosterone to be 222. I just turned 62 and have been feeling unmotivated & experiencing depression. I decided to change my diet and get 7-8 hrs of sleep a night. My question is, I’ve noticed myself being very short. I am only on my 3 shot and the doctor told me that I should start feeling better around my 3rd to 4th dose. I can’t tell if the TRT is causing it or if it’s the stress from the depression. I started walking and pushups but haven’t yet felt motivated to lift. I used to lift a lot when I was younger and was pretty rocked when I was 50. After a couple of surgeries in my 50’s I feel old and have gotten out of shape. My goal with the TRT isn’t to rock up again but trying to lift myself from the depression. I think a testosterone of 222 is part of the problem but I’m concerned about being edgy. Has anyone else have experience with depression & low T? I don’t drink or smoke. Thanks for any feedback you can give.
