I buy and sell full time on eBay, but occasionally buy stuff for my own collections.
This is what I often run into as a buyer and it drives me nuts.
- Blurry and terrible photos. I've seen sellers with $500k in inventory and their photos all look like they took it with a 2MP HP Digital Camera from 2003. I don't expect professional imagery from anyone, but for Pete's sake, if you literally are trying to sell half a million dollars worth of stuff, spend a few hundred on a decent camera.
- Having "make offer" on listings but not accepting any offers at all, or not accepting anything more than 3% off, or countering $44.90 when I offered $40 on a $45 item. I'll just pay more from another seller to not deal with the nonsense.
- Having descriptions that are literally 3-5 pages long. No one is going to take the time to read all that drivel.
- Listing gold and silver jewelry, sterling spoons, etc and not posting the weight. A decent jewelry scale is $10. I hate when I forget my scale and when I find a silver spoon on eBay that matches, there is no weight listed. Inexcusable at home. A lot of silver buyers on eBay, but will they buy it if they don't know what it weighs? Unlikely.
- Not wanting to combine shipping. Someone had 30 pez dispensers I wanted all in separate listings. Each had like $4.50 shipping. Asked if they would combine shipping and they said "no". I'm not spending $135 to ship 30 pez dispensers! Are you nuts?

I need some advice! I’ve been using MedicalSchoolBootcamp for my USMLE Step 1 preparation, and I really like it. However, I also want to incorporate the AnKing deck into my study routine.
The problem is that the AnKing deck feels overwhelming—it’s just too much to handle. Would it be enough if I focused only on the MedSchoolBootcamp cards within AnKing? Does anyone know how many cards from MedicalSchoolBootcamp are included in the AnKing deck?

I (25F) had problems with this guy (27M) I was seeing casually (we see each other super on/off and I don't even have his phone number so we just talk on reddit chat). I messaged him a couple nights ago that I'm down to hookup finally and he replied back that he's leaving out of town because he's having a family emergency. I don't know about the details but it has to do with one of his parents. I told him I hope everything is all okay, and that was that. But the other problems I had with him sorta kept bothering me so I blocked him today. I feel like this was awkward timing and I don't want him to think it's cuz of when I last texted him a couple nights ago. Was this bad timing on my part?

In December I was in a car accident. My car went off to the body shop and I filed a claim with my insurance. The body shop found additional damage and my car was declared totaled. I am going to salvage my car and have the car fixed myself. I invoked the appraisal clause.
Both third party appraisers have agreed to a price. I am guessing the insurance company will contact me now. If anyone has any advice on what I need to do, that would be great. No legal advice or my post will be taken down. Thank you!

 | This palette is legit EVERYTHING. I live in a tropical climate and this stuff really stays on no matter how oily, sweaty, or otherwise disheveled I may become. And really no matter how much I put on, it looks just like my skin. Mixing shades is perfect for me because my tan comes and goes. The bronzers are great. I haven’t really used the shimmer highlight because I’m already a “dewy” (oily) person.  | Hi, I have: - DT 880 250Ohm - Z390 Aorus Pro that has ALC1220-VB - Apple USBC to headphone jack dongle - XG2402 monitor that has a headphone jack - Sony STR-DE505 receiver - 3 passive/copper wire speakers (Left, Right, Central) How should I connect my headphones and receiver to my PC for best sound quality? Headphones to motherboard Line Out and receiver to the monitor jack? Receiver to Line Out and the headphones to the receiver? Headphones to Apple dongle and receiver to Line Out? Maybe make use of the front panel headphone jack as well (although I heard that it is worse than rear jack)? I don't want to buy anything expensive and want to make use of what is available. The receiver doesn't have an Optical In, but I read somewhere that if it did have it, I could connect the headphones to Line Out and receiver to Optical Out on the motherboard for best configuration. Is that correct? Also, where to plug the RCA adapter into the receiver? Phono In, CD In, MD In, TV/Video Audio In? Or would it be a good choice to buy a cheap Optical to RCA adapter? Lastly, what to set the Windows volume slider to and audio bit depth and frequency? The headphones and monitor both default to 24bit 48KHz. And for clarity, I have been using the DT 880 for quite some time and I keep the Windows slider at 50% and application sliders around 15%, and that is loud enough for me, even though I read that DT 880 requires an AMP... Keep in mind I am a total noob when it comes to audio :)...
