This is hypothetical ( i don’t have this kind of money), but say through Sharesies I put 100k into an NZ smart shares ETF that tracked the S&P 500. Let’s say 4 years went buy and the value of my investment rose to $150k and I decided I wanted to sell all of it.
1) is sharesies a stupid platform to use to do something like this.. fees ect, or is it fine?
2) There shouldn’t be capital gains or FIF tax correct? But would I need to pay income tax for the $50k I made?

I am working to improve our ticketing templates. I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel and started looking on various sites to learn from others. So I was very excited to find out about Marketplace. Where others have shared their templates and workflows. But when I tried to import, nothing happened. Opened a ticket. As with so many other “features” in the PSA, it’s currently broken and who knows when it will be fixed. I am so frustrated with this product.

2025.01.19 00:22 YellowUnderbelly *I saw the TV glow
this is a film I kept hearing about and to be honest I was a little excited to watch it because I kept hearing pretty amazing things about it. and I'm going to be honest , it was in my top three worst film last year (I watched 122 films).
I honestly think there's a huge disparity in what people think and what is a good film because this just was not a good one, and every day I have to see people praising it online and, this is just me obviously, but it really irks me, because it's not a good film.
I can tell that the filmmaker who made it has a singular vision for it, it has enormous talent, and I saw really interesting and unique things that I liked. but there was huge flaws in I think the acting, not so much the writing, tho i thought the tones were ineffectual and the overall plot of the story convoluted.
I assume before I even post this I'm going to get absolutely raked for hating this movie,

2025.01.19 00:22 disgruntledempanada Logitech Pro Wheel broken FFB/Truforce
I just did an entire wipe of my computer and on a fresh install TruForce still seems broken. I also get a T500RS shifter that shows up that could be the cause? It was the reason I wiped windows, thinking maybe that was interacting... Or it was sending the feedback to the wrong peripheral. Disconnected the shifter, completely wiped windows and did a fresh install, and the shifter still shows up for some reason.
Still wondering if that's the cause or it's something else. Anybody have TruForce not work and then get it working? And does anybody have any FFb settings suggestions? Default feels bad, turning off all the damping feels bad, basically every setting I tried feels like it's fundamentally wrong.

Hey everyone so I'm 29 and since I was 13 I have been very addicted to refined sugar from cakes, biscuits and ice cream I used to eat whole cakes, whole tub of ice cream and often a whole packet of biscuits in one go, I recently started eating very healthy these last 2 weeks but it's so hard to stop thinking about sugar though I haven't touched it for 2 weeks but I still get these cravings and I nearly fell back into it again today. Any advice would be appreciated.

Looking at going with Eibach Pro Truck Kit Stage 1 with 1” block in the back for my 2017 Z71. Ideally I’d like to max out the front shocks at 2.7” so my first question is: what other parts should I be swapping to prevent premature wear? Are aftermarket UCAs necessary at 2.7”? Sway bar end links or relocation? Diff drop? Anything else that I’m missing?
Second, has anyone here combined this with a 1.5” body lift? Seen some pretty sweet examples of this combo but don’t know much about the pros and cons of it.
The other option that I’m hearing extremely polarized opinions on is the RC 4” suspension lift. Sounds like some love it and some hate it or just hate Rough Country in general. So my next question is for those who have first-hand experience with this kit especially or even just recent RC parts - how is the ride quality? Quality of the components? Longevity of components? Heard from several people that they’ve really upped their game in the past few years but would appreciate some opinions from people with recent first-hand experience.

Kiss Land, BBTM, Starboy: 90s (Kiss Land has strong Matrix themes, BBTM has some pop and stadium rock songs that are very 90s coded such as 'As You Are' and 'In the Night', A lot of the features in Starboy feel very 90s-y2k inspired)
After Hours, Dawn FM, HUT: 80s ( All the synths and drugs in After Hours is very 80s, also his facial hair is very 80s styled as well. Dawn FM has a lot of oldies and Japanese city pop that was happening in the 80s. Not going to speak too much on HUT since it's unreleased but there r synths in DITF)

This is one is was a tough one for me to understand and actually do in real life. I think it goes back to the how God tells us to love our enemies instead of hating them. Because in the end despite us INCLUDING MYSELF sin almost every day, God still loves us and is still with us. He sent he only son to the cross so we can live a free will life.
This is day 4 of me trying to spread the gospel here. I am slowly getting better at telling others outside of here but I will still post here in case I fail to tell one person about the gospel.
