Hey everyone, I just failed the real estate exam for the third time, and I’m feeling pretty defeated. This time, I got a 68%, so I was close, but still not enough to pass.
How long did it take you guys to pass? Did anyone else struggle with the exam like I am? Also, what study materials did you use that really made a difference? I’ve been studying, but maybe I’m not focusing on the right things.
Any tips, advice, or resources you can share would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to give up, but it’s starting to feel really discouraging.

2025.01.19 01:50 AdMain6795 Pool refresh - new SWG, replace filter. Keep filter? Keep chem?
I am in Southern California and have an inground pool and spa. Same plumbing for both pool and spa. A three-port valve specifies if I'm pulling water in from pool or spa. Another specifies if I'm pushing water out to the pool or spa. There's a little spot where water can go from pool to spa or back based on water level. The water is clear, pretty much usually is clear.
The pool/spa shape and the yard layout make it cumbersome to cover and uncover the pool, so it pretty much stays uncovered. Currently, it's a DE filter. The filter is pretty much toast. And the pool and spa are bromine, not chlorine. It's just how it was when we bought the house over 12 years ago.
Kids are older and don't use the pool anymore. Now only one person uses the pool, and it's not very often. As we're getting older and using the pool less, and the plaster is starting to chip, we're looking in to possibly filling it, or fixing it. Seems like it'd be almost as expensive to fill as to fix. So that brings me to a few quick questions.
- If I want to add the Salt Water Generator thing, and replace a filter, could that be doable as a DIY for someone who's somewhat handy?
- Is it easier to replace a DE filter with another DE filter, or does that not make much difference? Which filter would be the lower maintenance (time and cost) ? A little worried that if I switch from DE, the pool might start getting cloudy. Not sure if it's the DE that's keeping it clear.
- Would it be easy enough to start using the SWG or does the water need to be emptied and refilled?

so basically, long story shoet i’ve been in a flare for about, going on 2 months?? anyways, i get that mainly bc, i’ve been eating what i want…. ik i’m dumb 🙃. but man i’d been resteicting myself just to be somewhat ok…. but then i’d get berated w/ worry from my family. which i understand, i’d lost a lot of weight….. but being vonstantly told i looked like i was dying, always being forced to talk abt my diet at the dinner table, my family being very upset to the point that they’d tell me to “just get over it, so what you have ibs?”. ok, then. i start to finally eat what i’d normally eat, as well as try to eat more portion wise. i warn them, my bowel habits have CHANGED things are NOT the same for me AT ALL. now, i’m just getting told, “you’re exaggerating”, “get over it, it isn’t that bad.” “i don’t have sympathy for you bc your choosing not to do anything to help yourself”. so again, when i was trying to help myself, i’d get shyt…. when i’m trying to live normally, i get shyt….. it’s even gotten to the point that my bathroom time & amount of toilet paper are being monitored….. again, i dealt w/ anxiety before i got pi-ibs… then the way i got pi-ibs totally messed w/ me….. so imagine alrdy not liking the fact that i now take FOREVER in the restroom bc of flares, altered bowel habits, also i have internal hemorrhoids that were determined to be minor, but they’re anything but… getting yelled at thru the restroom door, i get knocked by whoever every few secs w/ a “warning” that i better not be taking too long bc i’m being “ridiculous”.
honestly, like i said, just the way i became like this was a completely insane rollercoaster in itself, then to have my family just be total jerks abt it is the cherry on top.

I sent it to the service center, expecting a reasonable solution. But after two months of waiting, they came back with a repair estimate of ₹94,000! What’s baffling is that the battery health is still good—the issue lies with other components that apparently need to be replaced. Thankfully, Ather’s buyback program is available, so I’ve opted for it. But honestly, if it wasn’t, I would’ve been completely helpless. It’s disappointing to face such high costs and delays from a premium brand like Ather. Has anyone else dealt with a similar situation? How do you feel about their service and repair policies?
