Brand new to this group. Diagnosed with Grave's disease almost 2 years ago, with antibodies for both hyper- and hypothyroidism. I have been taking medication for hyperthyroidism, and over time I've needed less and less. I now take a small dose. I've been told I will eventually end up with hypothyroidism and stay that way. I would have to take medication for that also. But, I recently read lots of information saying that this flip only happens to about 20% of people with both antibodies.
Does anyone out there have experience with this?

 | What kind of roach is this? Just moved into a studio apartment in southwestern Florida which is attached to the main house which is new, nice, and seemingly very clean. So imagine my dismay when upon moving in, I discovered some small black pellets that may or may not be roach poop(?), plus the shell of a dead roach (about the size of a very small pumpkin seed), and then my first night there, this little guy crawling on the wall of the bathroom. 😒 I was wondering if anybody could help ID what type of roach this is (it was very small, like about the size of an apple seed — but I have no clue whether that’s its full size, or if it’s a juvenile stage of something that grows to be much bigger), and also give an idea of how worried I should be about the extent of infestation that may or may not exist given this evidence (i.e., seeing one alive and one dead on my first day, plus the possible droppings shown here). Hi community. I mean a traditional paperJapanese umbrella (sorry, I know “umbrella” is not the proper word). I’m flying with KLM, no checked luggage allowed, it would count as a personal item, and their policy is not more than 40cm long.
Has anyone had a similar experience? I fear they might deem it as “dangerous”. I want not pay the fee to check it in at the counter, and it would be likely such a delicate thing would break anyways.

I (21M) have been seeing this girl (20F) for two months now. It was actually great to start and I was so happy because she was my class crush all of last semester and I finally had the balls to ask her out.
Early on, she dropped a pretty big bombshell on me that she’d never been in a relationship and is still a virgin. I was fine with it because we were both looking for the same things in a partner and it never really crossed my mind why she’d never been in a relationship.
First couple of times we hung out were pretty casual and fun, shit seemed great. I did notice that it seemed pretty platonic for a while, she doesn’t really have much of a romantic side based on what I’ve seen so far but I’d hoped that with patience it would come around over time. We started school back from holiday break this last week and she dropped a very random and concerning text a few days ago saying that she was “confused” about things and that she had “issues” but stated that she didn’t want me to change anything I was doing, but she just wanted to keep me in the loop on what’s going on with her. I was pretty concerned because I’ve been through this routine before so I figured it wouldn’t be long until I got the text where she wanted to just be friends. I took a step back to protect myself (I was already developing some feelings at this point) but that never came. Instead, she kind of just reiterated last night what she said the first time. She likes me, she just doesn’t know what she wants right now, she’s horribly confused, and doesn’t really know herself or what she wants anymore. Here’s the kicker; “I don’t want you to step back even more.” At first I was like cool, but then I got really confused about what the hell that meant. I asked her if that meant we were over (because I needed clarity) and she said that she doesn’t want things to be “over over.” Regardless, I took a far step back today and didn’t really talk to her at all. I figured this was over despite what she had said. It felt like it was. No, she texts me at 9 saying that “I miss you a lot but I know this is for the best for me right now” and I agreed, but then she tried talking to me more and eventually called me, and we were on the phone for about an hour. She talked and acted like nothing had changed in the slightest. She even asked me when she could come over next (I think it was a joke but I’m not sure). I am so confused and I really need some help processing what’s happening.

**TL;DR: My ex and I have been on and off for 6 months. He wanted me to wait for him while he dated others, which hurt deeply. I made fake accounts to see if he was being truthful, and I found out he was telling other girls he wanted a relationship, something he wasn't willing to do with me. He later love-bombed me and then asked me to wait again while still being active on dating apps. Now he thinks I'm crazy for making fake accounts, but I just feel hurt and confused
For context, my ex and I have been on and off for about 6 months. We started dating in August, but by October, he decided he wanted to "work on himself" while still dating other people. He asked me to wait for him until December, which really hurt because I wanted to work on things together, not take a break while he explored other options.
What made it worse was that he'd go on dating apps and text other people right in front of me, being very secretive about it. I still loved him, and it stung to see him give attention to others while keeping me in the dark.
The first time I made a fake account, I discovered he was telling these girls he wanted a full relationship, which he wasn’t telling me. He didn’t even mention I was in the picture. He even admitted to going on a date with another girl while we were together, and he brought me food from that date! That broke my trust completely.
When I tried to move on and started talking to other people, I was transparent with him about it, showing him who I was messaging. I felt I deserved the same respect, but he stayed secretive about his dating life.
Fast forward to January, he started love-bombing me, saying he wanted to date me again and that he barely used the dating apps. That made me happy, but then he dropped the bomb that he wanted me to wait again, which hurt all over. He still checked Hinge while with me, even though he promised not to. I got suspicious again, so I used another fake profile, and he was still saying he wanted a relationship with others, something he wasn’t saying to me. He got upset with the fake profile, saying I broke his trust. I tried to explain, but idk I was just as hurt as he was with me he still decided to check the dating apps anyway when he said he wasn't going to. Anway, I feel bad, but idk if I should.

Hello all...just finished a frame swap on a new to me 2011 1500...still working some bugs out/doing some more proactive maintenance...one of my issues is the radio...works just fine, but has no display...have no problems keeping a factory radio, but have no desire to pay a dealership for reprogramming or anything like that...I found a website once that said they had "unlocked" or "unprogrammed", don't remember which word used, factory radios...would that still require getting involved with a dealership reprogramming issue??? Or is it straight up plug n play swap??? Anyone have any experience with that scenario??? Alternatively, Im open to a more updated aftermarket radio...any suggestions??? Any input would be appreciated...have a good evening

2025.01.19 04:55 sagiri000 Sims 4 Anadius help? Bug with EA caused all my DLCS not to load
So a few days ago I downloaded the DLC unlocker and the updater for TS4, and everything was working fine in my game. Then I decided to run the updater again today to download more DLCs and again, it worked fine. Until.. I continued playing the game and then I had a problem with a bug on EA's end where it would be stuck on the saving screen while in build mode. So I had lost all my progress in my recent save, but I didn't mind as much. I started the game up again and all the DLC's I downloaded today were missing? Not all of them, just the ones that I had JUST downloaded today. It seems like it didn't save because of the bug. I uninstalled the unlocker using setup.bat and tried to download all the DLC's again hoping i could just recheck every single DLC, or something. But It says everything was already installed. How can I make it so I can "fully" delete/ uninstall everything so I could just redownload all the packs. Does anybody know of a fix?

2025.01.19 04:55 kritike24 anytime i plug a usb hard drive my nas locks up
i never had an issue with any of my nas's when plugging an external usb drive using one of the usb ports before.
i wanted to backup data from my ds1819 to an external just a copy and paste to then put on another nas to then setup a sync.
i never had an issue doing this prior to......but the only thing i just thought of that i did differently was after buying the external drive plugging it in to the nas first and then formating the drive on control panel external device and ext4. is this a known issue?
so interestingly enough what originally started was when i plugged in the drive with data on it, the nas saw the drive and when i went to external devices in control panel it showed 0 for the sizze out of 16tb even though i just did a transfer. that was the first weird sign....so i would eject the drive then unplug it from nas and re-connect and either it would show 0 or it would load the data....
now it's doing that, but also crashing the nas where i can no longer login to dsm can not ping it can not do anything
what i i did do though was hold down the power button for 3 seconds and the blue light started flashing but with no beep....i waited about 5 min and nothing so i called synology tech support and the guy said to hold the button down until the all lights go out (10 seconds) to force shutdown.....
so this happened like 4 more times after i was able to log back in and i had to force shutdown again 4 times back to back....
what i am/was concerned was that could i now have potential data loss? and is there anything i can do to help me check, rather than say in like 9 months when i goto open files i dont open often are not opening????
i did get an error saying that the nas shutdown more than twice improperly and to get a ups.. but no error in storage manager or anything like that.
of course the original issue of plugging in a usb drive is still happening, so instead of force shutting down i held the button for three seconds waited for it to flash and then waited...sure enough after 10-15 min i heard the beep and then it gracefully shut down..... i must have now done this like 6 times, but at least it is a proper shutdown.
what is going on here? the nas is a ds1819+ and the storage pool is shr2- with 6 16tb drives.
any help is much appreciated thank you.
