"I wanted to share a personal story about how I’ve grown to love being alone and the journey that led me here.
A few months ago, I went abroad for my master’s degree, and the first term was a whirlwind. It was just three months, but it felt like a roller coaster ride. I got caught up in things I now regret—mindlessly seeking attention, spending way too much on alcohol, going to parties, and surrounding myself with people constantly. Every morning after a night out, I’d feel drained, regretful, and honestly a little lost.
Being around people all the time took a toll on me. There was always drama to deal with, and I felt like I had to put on a fake smile, even when I was hurt by how some people took me for granted or made fun of me. I realized that putting myself out there too much made it easy for others to exploit my vulnerabilities.
Fast forward to now—I’ve been home for my summer break for over a month and a half, and things couldn’t feel more different. I’ve distanced myself from everyone, both friends from abroad and those here at home. I didn’t pick up calls or try to stay in touch, and honestly? It’s been so peaceful.
For the first time in a long time, I feel clear-headed and grounded. I’ve started to discover who I really am, and I love it. I’m doing what I enjoy, without the noise or the need to please anyone else.
The challenge I’m facing now is this: I want to carry this version of myself back when I return for my next term. I want to set healthy boundaries, stick to what I love, and avoid falling back into the same patterns. But I’m unsure how to transition into this new way of being without making it seem like I’m acting distant or weird to my friends.
Have any of you gone through something similar? How do you set boundaries and focus on yourself without alienating others or making them think you’ve changed for the worse?

Can they add the audio that they play for the pros when they select a god. Even if you just hear you own gods cue in casuals. And you hear everyone's in ranked. I think it's a cool feature obviously there's much more important stuff for the game currently but in smite 1 they used to have the cues for skins etc. Just small things like that make the game more feel more polished. I'd hope as the game grows and time goes on hopefully they can work on some polish.
I know they said no to death animations because apparently it's confusing but I miss a lot of those small features.

So my Q50 Luxe was deemed totaled by the other drivers insurance. Before taking the payout I wanna take some aftermarket parts of the car. Mainly my intakes, exhaust, & downpipes (Looking at a ‘20 Red Sport) I have all stock parts for the car so I could easily swap them out. My question is, has anyone been in a similar situation regarding parts? Like do the parts have to be physically attached/installed on the car or do they just have to be with the car before they take it? Want to get this moving asap, so if the parts just have to be with the car then I could save some time by just throwing them inside & not installing them back on. We already agreed on a $$ amount so just unsure about whether to install them back on or just throw them inside the car lol thanks in advance

Good evening to my all Aussie group members Iam from canada and just finished my LPN (Enrolled nurse) program last year. I have many family members in melbourne always wanted to move to Australia. I love canada one of Greatest country only we need a good leadership to fix some issues.
