2025.01.19 13:00 sorath-666 Dog ate brownies hours ago and I’m just finding out, what do I do
Basically last night I went to sleep and then sometime between then and 12:30 am my family got home from an event and saw a plate that was half full of dark chocolate brownies was gone. I got up just a bit ago and found out about this, (it’s currently just before 8 as I’m typing this). Dog seems 100% fine for now but everyone else is going to leave for the day soon and seems to think she’s gonna be fine since nothing has happened. Google says effects could show up after 12 hours so I’m pretty nervous that’s the case. Please anyone that has any advice help me

This is the statistics overlay right? If not what is it and how can I turn it off? I've look through different places even videos that show how to turn this off and I've followed the steps yet it remains. I gets in the way when I try to play a game that has buttons in the top right corner where this is. I know you can move it but I just want it gone.

I'm 35 years old, and my dad just died Sunday Jan 12 2025. My mom died June 13th 2024, but my whole life I never felt like they ever cared about me. My dad was super abusive, and my mom was a pathological liar. I had a mental breakdown in 2012 when i was 22. My mom had to stay with me in order to be released bc I was on suicide watch. After 1 week of being out, she begged to move in with me bc she couldn't stand my father anymore. I let her, bc I was so alone I figured at least someone would be there to care right? Wrong. That was the moment I started being her caretaker, and for 12.5 years, that's what I did. The last 4 years was the hardest. She got cancer around the time covid happened, and she deteriorated slowly. I was there when she died, choking on her own bile as her heart stopped. My dad didn't really help at all, even with just being there for me, so I cut him off. Now, as of last Sunday, he is dead too.
My family never really cared about me, they mostly used me for money or for their own emotional needs, but their presence was at least the illusion of support. Like I knew it wasn't ever real, but it was something, and I somehow convinced myself something was better than nothing. Now I really am all alone, and all I can think is "I would give anything to have had a caring family, at least I wouldn't have to have mourned my mom alone, and maybe I wouldn't be mourning my dad alone." More than anything I just wish I had someone to hold me and tell me everything is okay. I wish I had a mom or a dad or a grandparent or a sibling who would be able to be here and just hold me so I wasn't alone. I just feel so empty and hollow and forgotten, and I find myself questioning if life will ever get better.
I'm afraid of reaching out to friends bc this last 9 months have been hell, between my mom dying, my relationship ending due to him lying to me, being trapped in a bad financial situation due to that lie, then my father dying. I can't run to my friends with this constant negativity looking for support all the time. They have their own lives, and that would have been unfair. I just don't know where to go or what to do. I just keep praying I don't wake up the next day, bc I'm afraid I'm going to lose even more.
