Finally on day 8, feeling positive again finally.
I went to a family party yesterday and drove, did not have a drop of alcohol, danced and left earlier than I normally would and drove home sober! Proud of myself for doing that, after my last bender I didn’t think of alcohol at all. I hope that continues!
Still feeling slightly anxious but I know it will pass as I continue with my sobriety. I am back to work in the office tomorrow so I feel a little anxious about that but I know I’ll be fine once I’m there.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend ❤️

Planning to swap the 92mm 12v fan from an sfx psu Lian Li SP850. Its noisy and rattling
The original PSU fan is a 12V 2 pin header which i plan to cut and solder to the Noctua NF-A9x14 fan which is also a 12V but PWM (4 pins). Noctua website shows the 12V PIN diagram and i am thinking if i only use GND and 12V wires, it might work. What do you think? Oh yes, in my region the JST to PWM adapter cannot be found, so I will have to resort to good old fashion resoldering

I had this happen recently in an interview so I thought I’d share. I have a gender-neutral name (it can be a male or female name) and I have had people address me as “he” until they see that I am visibly female.
So I joined the Zoom interview and one of the two interviewers was already in the call. It took a minute for my video to load and the interviewer greeted me with a happy “hello! Nice to meet you.” I said hello, and apologized for the delay in the video. We exchanged a few pleasantries. When my video came on, his shoulders visibly slumped and I could swear I heard a sigh. He went from happy and friendly to completely passive aggressive. I tried to make conversation while waiting for the other interviewer, but he said “let’s just wait for the other interviewer.” When the other interviewer joined he apologized for being late and asked if the passive aggressive interviewer had introduced himself. I said no, we were waiting for you, to which he seemed visibly annoyed but then pressed ahead with the interview. I wasn’t getting much from the passive aggressive interviewer, even when I asked him a direct question. I left thinking “this is going to be a rejection.”
A few days later, I received a rejection saying that while the one interviewer really liked me, the passive aggressive interviewer thought I “didn’t have enough credibility.” I was interviewing for a job that was half a step down from my current position, but the role is in a field where others have considered me an “expert.” I have done tremendous practical work in said field, in addition to conducting research and making numerous publications. So unless he was expecting a Nobel Prize winner, I certainly had enough credibility.
This has happened to me before, where people seem friendly over email then enter into a call or an in-person meeting and act completely different, almost treating me with disdain. I am a pretty average looking woman and I don’t have any distinguishing features. I’ve even stopped wearing anything other than navy blue or black so that people don’t take offense to colored clothing. I have a frequent research collaborator who is trans and she has experienced the same, although for her there’s often outright hostility which makes me very sad. I also feel like it’s gotten worse over the past 5 years, whereas before I didn’t experience it as much, and that I’ve experienced this behavior the most from Indian men.
Has anyone else experienced the same? If so, how do you cope?

Hello everyone, I’d like to share my experience with marrying multiple characters at once in Sun Haven. There are some very old posts from people who tried this and claimed it worked... and I tried it yesterday and would like to share that:
- Yes, it’s still possible! You can buy as many engagement rings as you want and gift them all on the same day. The game will create a separate quest for each wedding, scheduled for the next day at the same time.
- You can cancel your own wedding by closing the quest window.
- You’ll have a cutscene for each partner during the wedding. The characters will overlap in the same spot during the scene. Each of them will give you their respective wedding ring.
- The only bug I noticed was that, at the end of the same day, two partners showed up to sleep at my house, and neither was the owner of the room. However, after sleeping until the next day, the problem disappeared, and the room’s owner was the only one present.
- The other characters returned to having regular dialogue and now give you gifts. They consider themselves married to you but are unaware of the other marriages. They continue their routines, with this being the only exception.

Me and my ex boyfriend were together for 6 years and we have a child together. During the first couple of years, I felt like he wasn't there for me when I was pregnant and the first year after birth I was basically doing everything on my own with little support from him .. this caused me to build up resentment towards him and this stupidly lead me to cheat online, I talked and flirted with several different men online and I sent nudes to one of them (very wrong I know) but I never had any intention of meeting them, and I never did. This went on for 2 months and then we decided to go on a break for a couple of weeks .. after this break my partner suspected i had been talking to people online and I ended up telling him everything, it was rough but we talked everything through and agreed to move past it and stay together as a couple. He then stepped up as a father and partner and became more helpful and responsible.
He then went on to cheat on me and had sex with 5 women (without protection) over the past couple years , kissed another 5 women and created a secret account to try and meet up with several more. He said he did this because he was heartbroken about what I did and he became paranoid that I was going out and physically cheating on him as well so it became like a tit for tat thing and he did it to protect himself, because in his head he thought that if I was cheating on him then if he did it as well it wouldn't hurt him so badly. He now wants to work things out and thinks because we both cheated we should just start fresh. I do want to keep our family together and i miss the good times we had. Opinions? I have never met up with anyone or been physically intimate with anyone throughout our entire relationship, but he thought I was so that's how he's trying to justify what he's done. Also just to add, he is extremely apologetic and admits he was wrong and swears he would never do it again.
