Hello Skoda enthusiasts, am a new driver (I have driven off and on over the years but not much, hence new) planning to lease/rent a car for 6 months to practice and understand my needs before finalizing a vehicle. I have a choice between Skoda Fabia 221 (all inclusive 600 dollars) and Skoda Scala 2023 (800 dollars). Both cars look very similar in dimensions to me. Is it worth spending an extra 200 dollars/month for Scala? I plan to use my car for daily life and occasional 100-200 miles trip on highway. Live alone, but expecting a couple friends to visit me later this year. Plan is to eventually buy or lease a car long term after 6 months.

Hi all,
I'm being investigated for IBD and currently awaiting some results of my fecal calprotectin test (NHS). I've checked online and it says usually a few days to a week for results, but I've been waiting two weeks now. I have the online system where I can check my medical records and results and it hasn't been updated yet. My blood results usually only take a few days, but I'm not sure how long is typical for a FC test.
I'm not insanely worried as I know these things can take time, but I'm just wondering if anyone here who's had this test in the UK has also had to wait this long. I don't want to pester my GP if it's normal for lab results to take a couple of weeks minimum.

Genuine curiosity lang po, is it possible to have multiple NAFFL sa mga credit cards ng Union Bank? Based sa pag babasa ko ng T&C, isang beses lang pwede but I've heard stories na they are holding 2+ NAFFL except pa ung sa SNR and platinum U. Sabi din ng tito ko na sometimes they are making exceptions daw if good payer naman at matagal na ung card. Is it true po ba? Para kasing nang loloko lang tono ng tito ko eh.

 | I’ve upgraded the original Atheros Ar5008 (AR5BXB72) to a newer 2011 iMac Atheros 9380 (ARSBXB112) MacBook Pro late 2006 A1211 2,2 on 10.6.8 SL Unfortunately I’m still unable to connect to the internet (only with my 13 pro max hotspot) Looking at the specs for the 9380 card it supports 2.4 & 5ghz bands and much newer 802.11 lines. I’m unsure if I’m missing something here? Should be working just fine, I’ve even tested by making subnetworks with 2.4ghz only with WPA-wpa2 person or enterprise encryption also. hi, 19f here. i'm not diagnosed & not interested in getting diagnosed, but i'm relatively certain i've got npd. at least, i can recognize that i fit the criteria/'symptoms' to a t, so take from that what you will. the point here isn't to get affirmed on my self-diagnosis anyway.
i have a lot of people i'm friends with, but i wouldn't consider them my friends. i don't feel very close to them and i find myself not really being able to respect them (i.e. i think i'm smarter than them, or they annoy me frequently, or i just don't feel 'understood', etc). i don't act on those feelings & hide them, but that also means i can't feel honest with them and feel more distant. for the few people i do connect with, it tends to switch between hot & cold. and i feel like i'm lovebombing them / manipulating them, which is also 'bad' behaviour, although it's just what i genuinely feel in the moment.
i want to change this, but i really don't know how. honesty seems like the basic answer, but i don't feel like i can be honest about this. telling people that you don't see them as a friend/don't feel close to them... i can't think of any way to convey that which wouldn't be harsh/hurtful/wrong. beyond that, being open about my needs just feels like it puts someone at a position where they feel obligated to fill those needs (i.e. i am being 'bad' by manipulating them via guilt into needing to put effort into caring for me, and it doesn't even feel good for me anymore because it feels like it's all obligation/fake).
i used to have a number of people i'd consider i'd 'connected to', or i was able to jump from person to person frequently when i was younger ('connection' defined here as people who can make me feel intense delight & those i tend to get fixated on). but ever since i was about 17, i haven't really had that. that's also when i generally became more self-aware, so that might have to do with it.
this is all just a long way of asking what the title says; how do i connect with people (again)? i generally deal with heavy disassociation when it comes to my feelings, so it feels like i tend to have to 'perform' in order to convey those feelings to others. i think i'm very good at performing this sort of normality but that also means that a) i feel like i'm faking it and feel less grounded & less connected to others, b) it feels like i'm manipulating people into liking me or feeling bad for me or thinking i'm a good person. and if i don't actively perform these feelings, nobody really notices or cares or looks or does anything.
ultimately, this feels silly and childish to type out. but whenever i search up how to get better or how to treat people well (the logic being; if i treat people well, i will feel close to them), i just get articles and posts from non-narcissists going on about how narcissists are just evil. which seems sillier and useless and unhelpful to look at. even if it's just understanding, i figured it'd be better to look here. i'm not exactly a reddit user, so forgive any slow responses.
