Hi everyone, I got a question, has anyone able to get your egpu working with this relatively similar setup? I am currently running; MBP16 RP5600M + Akitios Node Pro + Radeon 6600XT (macOS Montery 12.1 - Sequoia 15.2). I have also try setting up with the MBP16 RP5500M, but with no luck. Mac OS recognizes both TB4 ports on the Akitio Node Pro and was able to output DP on the Akitio Node to the monitor. However, the Radeon 6600XT, has power but was not able to out DP through the monitor. I was able to get it working before with the MBP16 RP5500M with macOS Ventura, however, I was not able to get it to recognize the GPU on any laptops or TB4 ports. The Radeon 6600XT works fine in Windows/PC.

Hi yall, so i am about to start my first year in university. I live in South Africa and uni starts in Feb here. I am very much interested in doing an environmental science/geography degree.
Okay for some background when i was in high school i was terrible at maths and physics but excellent in geography. My final maths grade is like a C and my physics grade, well i nearly failed. So obviously i couldn’t get admission into a Bsc because of this but i could still do a BA and major in Environmental science but i would have go couple it with Anthropology since technically the degree is an Arts. Environmental science is a second year course though so i plan on taking the Geography course both in 1st and second year and with Evnvironmental Science in second year as well. Environmental science and Geography are both part of the science department. And they have an Earth science prerequisite. I also plan on taking stats in first and second year, just so i have some kind of Maths.
So in South Africa a lot of degrees are 3 year degrees and then you can choose to do honours or not. I want to do my honours. I found another university that allows you to do a Bsc Environmental science Honours degree whether you have a BA or Bsc. You just have to have majored in geography, env.sci or archaeology and achieved 65%+ in third year.
I mostly want to work in urban planning, hazard mitigation, ESG and gis. I’m about to get a new laptop and im going to start working on some GIS courses so i can be proficient at it. But I am honestly just looking for some reassurance that im not completely fucked with a BA in Environmental Science and that there is a chance for me in the job market.

Take Grusch. Everyone’s treating his testimony like it’s carved in stone tablets. Me included—I respect the guy. Why? Because he filed his paperwork correctly? Cool. But then another military whistleblower pops up in a low-budget Ross Coulthart segment, and suddenly no one cares. Why? He filed his paperwork, too. Sure, Ross sensationalizes—he’s making TV, not running a book club. Ratings and ad revenue don’t automatically make the claims less true. Or is the problem that they didn’t say this on a trendy podcast like Joe Rogan’s?
And let’s not ignore the drones. NHI? Advanced military tech? Who knows? Meanwhile, Trump’s over here promising to spill the beans after his next inauguration (because that’s when the truth comes out). But when he doesn’t, are Republicans or UFO believers really going to turn on him? Doubt it—they’ll just move the goalposts.
So here’s the question: Why do we treat some claims like gospel while dismissing others? Is it the messenger? The platform? The production value? Because every UAP video is still just the same grainy, vague “maybe it’s aliens, maybe it’s a birthday balloon” nonsense.
What makes one whistleblower believable and another not? Or are we just picking favorites based on who sounds cooler?

I’m in my 60s, only ever had an small card version of my birth certificate. Recently acquired my full certificate and the father box is empty. I do not believe it likely that I am an illegitimate child.
Both my parents are now dead. They were married at the time of my conception and birth.
I likely need a declaration of parentage from the family courts to have my birth certificate amended .
Is the presumption of paternity/ legitimacy as they were married sufficient for the court to declare my father? I have a brother however we are not close enough to disclose the situation and acquire dna for sibling dna test (Wales, uk, 60 f).

Have had conch piercing for about five months now. It doesn’t hurt, clean it everyday but sometimes there is just random oozing out of it. No redness, no pain, no swelling. Is that just a normal thing still? I didn’t get much oozing in the beginning at all. Just in like the last two months occasionally. Sleep with a travel pillow if I’m on that side, maybe laid on it but not sure what causes that or how to prevent it from continuing? Let me know your thoughts please! Thank you!
