We are purchasing a car from a gentleman in Islamabad, he seems reasonable. We love the car, and have agreed a price, here is the thing. We have seen the card for the car and compared the name against the CNIC.
The final price is 55 lakh.
Due to the car finance outstanding the owner requested that we draft an agreement on stamp paper, pay 35 lakh by bank transfer, the owner will hand over the car. We are allowed but won't drive it until it's in our name. He pay the loan off and get an NOC, he said it takes 3 days. On Friday he will get it transferred over to us.
Also what's the best way to verify a car, without going to the police station?
If this is not the correct sub, please guide me.

My dehydrator maxes out at 158 degrees. I tried making jerky not too long ago for around 4 hours at 158F, but it came out chewy. How long would you all recommend I let the meat dehydrate at that temp?

I’m writing a piece on tiger parenting. I lean towards an Americanized, more empathetic approach to this, but I want to incorporate how teachers could take on more tiger like characteristics as well.
It’s hard to bring up this argument when teachers have high demanding expectations, but low support from admin and parents.
How much of your class lessons are based on federal or state guidelines? How do you make class time engaging? How do you (if you do) currently encourage students to work hard for their future, not just a passing grade?
I have a 3rd and 4th grader, so I have some insight there, but I’m looking more for a teachers perspective. I think parents should help their kids study and do homework, but that’s not possible for every household. I feel like some students are behind and teachers are overwhelmed with how much they need to play catch-up with these kids, so it could be a challenge to teach ahead.
There are obviously so many variables, so for the sake of this question let’s just say, if family circumstances and administration and unlimited resources, in what ways could we make teachers push/encourage students to have some drive and motivation towards studying so they have bright futures?
How can society support teachers, so teachers can encourage students to work towards bettering themselves.
Additional Q, mainly for myself… how do you all feel about reading abridged books in class? Positives/negatives? What’s the reason behind abridged rather than the original.
One more thing - when researching for this assignment I’ve realized MY own lack of support towards my children’s teachers. You guys are fucking rock stars who deserve so much better. I love you and thank you.
