For context I'm 16M, I'm 65kg and 168cm. I am social, I have good friends (at least the main friend group) an amazing best friend, a good family. But in school, or when I go outside, i kept being made fun of my height. Relentlessly. The jokes didn't really affect me but the past year they've grown more often,more annoying and frankly I just want peace. It's because I haven't seen growth in months, i was at a point where I watched everyone shorter than me outgrew it. So what did I do? Well I've started going to the gym. Put hours in it, really serious about it. And I've seen progress and I'm planning to continue this journey for hopefully forever. But I feel like I will always be looked down upon literally and figuratively, because of my height. No matter how good my physique is. Subconsciously or consciously people will do that, and it sucks. I understand this happens to more people than you'd expect for many insecurities. I was watching a few Instagram reels about people who were overweight, and how when they became fit people not only stopped picking on them, they started acknowledging them, giving them basic human respect and while it sucks for people who aren't treated right just to get treated as a human when they start looking good, at least if you put in the hours you will be treated better on a human level. I want to put in the hours. I want to better my physique, better my strength, my knowledge. I do have other small insecurities about my body hair and a bit about my skin, but those don't compare on any level with my height. It just can't change, ever. Unlike everyone else, no matter if or how many hours I spend bettering myself I will always be treated as the short kid. It fucking sucks, and it isn't fair. Doing all the work just to be treated the same. Hell, there was a post of someone admiring lee priest's freak of nature physique and half the comments were people praising him but the other half were calling him a short boy, making fun of his height and saying he looks like a kid. If that's what people think when they see lee priest, what the fuck will people think of a kid who is not even on the one percentile of his greatness. Has anyone here, ever went through something similar? Does it get better if you get more jacked? I just can't deal with the fact that I'll never change no matter how much effort I put into anything. I'll always be the short guy, the guy you make fun of and look down on, the guy you push around. It just feels hopeless. Barely anyone can understand me, and despite how much I want to change I never will.

Lenovo is aware of the battery drain issues with Intel 12th and 13th generation processors, especially the LOQ series with HX processors, but is addressing them according to the consumer value of the laws in each region. In all countries where it is present in a market, it solves this problem without victimising its users by sending the appropriate BIOS software update and a 230W adapter. And why is this? These countries have strict consumer protection laws. Measures such as unconditional returns and financial compensation for more serious damage force them to manage their operations in these countries smoothly.
So how does this work in Turkey? Lenovo Turkey's authorised service BDH (Bilişim Destek Hizmetleri) first tries to stall the user who bought the machine a few days ago by saying "your machine is new, wait for the battery to calibrate" or "update the BIOS version". If these steps don't work, they say "send it to us", intimidating the user, who is worried that the computer might be damaged in transit, with days of service adventures. I haven't even taken into account the time that the person who is left without a computer during this long and tiring service process loses from their job-education, think about it.
So, has Lenovo finally satisfied the Turkish user who gritted his teeth through this annoying wait? No, it doesn't. It sends the same 170W adapter that came with the machine and says "we have replaced your faulty adapter". When you say "but it wasn't defective", it says "we did it for customer satisfaction". A suspicious user will think like this: "There was nothing wrong with the original adapter, it's a brand new device, why did you have to replace it? Are you doing this for getting extra parts money from head office by replacing the working adapter? " A well-meaning user tries to find a sense of it: "If you needed to replace the original 170W adapter, why did you send another 170W adapter? If you had sent the 230W adapter that you send all over the world, you would have solved the problem once and for all. "
I was lucky because I bought my computer from Amazon Turkey, the only place where I could buy any of these "light on the load and heavy on the cost" gadgets with my eyes closed. Anticipating that this service process would be annoying, I called Amazon while my purchase was still within the legal return period, informed their friendly representatives and created a ticket. In this way, I was able to return the PC after exhausting BDH's useless attempts to solve the problem. As you can see, there are no winners. I am one of the losers, the device has increased in value by about ₺4.000-₺5.000 in just one month since I bought it. If I want to buy it again now, I will have to pay that much more. The other loser is that Lenovo has lost a user with almost 12 years of brand loyalty. Thanks to BDH (Bilişim Destek Hizmetleri) and Lenovo Turkey, I am not planning to buy a Lenovo product again. I hope this feedback reaches Lenovo Turkey and its subsidiary Lenovo Netherlands. I wrote this long feedback with the thought that there is a Lenovo support official who follows this subreddit and will deliver it to the relevant people. I’ve (38F) been struggling a lot lately. I had been home visiting my family ( mom, sister and her kids, brother and his kids) and realised that I don’t agree with a lot of things they say and do. After minor arguments and fights, I’ve only felt depleted and tired. Also, I’m beginning to think I might have changed too much and don’t feel the need to conform to their standards. While I understand it comes from a place of love and concern, I do feel my feelings and my ideas get trivialised a lot by them. After my visit home, instead of feeling energized and replenished, I’ve felt tired and frustrated. The burden of making them happy cannot lie on my shoulders, but somehow they make it seem like that’s the case. And that’s just one thing. I’ve also come to dislike loud noises and arguments, probably because I have been living alone for a bit now. So I don’t feel the need to constantly engage in pointless conversations. I love them to bits but I’m really struggling to get them to understand and respect my decisions/space. Anyone else went through the same? Advice?
