So I am an international student and want to do my masters in pharmaceutical sciences and both of these universities are offering it, but I am confused as to what university should I go for. Can anyone help me out with making this decision as both of these courses are ranked as top 2% and 4% respectively from these universities meaning the Surreys one is in top 2% and Kingstons in top 4%.

Can’t shake some inner knee pain, despite taking at least a month off and being dedicated to rehab. I don’t think it’s anything too serious (no swelling, doesn’t hurt when I walk, etc.) Trying to see if I can still salvage Boston, which is 13 weeks away. Normally, I’d just cancel, but it’s my first Boston and I’ve been waiting 30 years. Just curious what your experience has been being out for a while but still having enough time to build.

2025.01.19 16:21 wimwood Sirius issues 2011 s60
I cannot select S1 or S2 in my 2011 S60 T6. They are not “greyed out” as an option, just nothing happens when I highlight the option and press “ok,” such that I cannot even see the radio ID or the message stating service is inactive. Sirius has sent signal a few times. FM and AM and Bluetooth and such all work just fine.
I crawled into the trunk (much to the concern of my neighbor who saw only the legs of my short self hanging out and came over to investigate 🫠) and located the receiver… radio ID definitely matches. I disconnected & reconnected the receiver as I saw online sometimes that can reset the system. No dice.
I’ve read that it can be either the receiver box or an antenna issue causing this problem. I’m less likely to think it’s antenna since I get regular stations, but I’m also 0% experienced beyond what YouTube and forums can teach me.
I don’t know when software was last updated in the car (bought a few months ago) and if taking it in to Volvo for a software update could help; if they can even offer updates on a 13yo car? Is there a way to test whether it’s an antenna or receiver issue? Or do i just bite the bullet and buy a new receiver and try that as a fix?

I feel NAUSEA from hearing sexual details. I actually VOMIT. And the few times I don’t wake up to hear these disgusting details it’s to hear my mother’s orgasms. Does that seem fair to you? I’d like to see them, if with my boyfriend I wake them up every night with my orgasms if it wouldn’t bother them. They don’t even care that it could bother me or wake me up. So my friend‘s daughter has been on and off with a male friend forever. I am friends with that male one night while we were talking and he was drunk. He said he’d had a thing for her mom and wouldn’t mind a chance to act on it and that it was OK for me to let the mom know, so I did a joke around manner she said she couldn’t deny that she had thought about it before, but because it was her daughters on an offer she would never act on it we both promised not to tell the daughter then the other night he accidentally sent the mom a a picture meant for the daughter. Mom got paranoid and asked me if I thought he really meant it for her and I told her no I thought it was meant for the daughter and he just sent it to the wrong person. She told me not to tell him that I knew, here’s why I may be the AITAH I forgot that I said I wouldn’t tell him and when we were talking to him later, I couldn’t help but laugh about all of it because I found it funny and I told him he then told the daughter the daughter said something to the mom and the mom decided to tell the daughter that he had something for her now mom says daughters hurting humiliated. She went to go see him. Mom is now not talking to me. He’s temporarily blocked me. I feel like it’s all being blown out of proportion considering daughter is sleeping with multiple people at once I mean, she said she has a girlfriend was sleeping with him and also thought she was pregnant by somebody else so it’s not like there was anything serious going on anywhere am I the AITAH for making the The mistake of telling him after I forgot I had promise not to in my defense. She has told her daughter things I have told her not to tell her repeatedly using the excuse I forgot.

How have you handled sending wedding invitations to overseas family and friends who would otherwise not really be attending?
Has anyone done a wedding 'announcement' instead of an invite? Does it make sense to create a nice digital card to say these folks are getting married but without the invitation to physical location part?
It seems the intent is for distant relatives to be informed, so I wonder if that's served better by having a made to purpose announcement?
