I am the only trader at a smaller hedge fund. Our CIO wants to pursue multi strat so we have now 3 different strategies (soon to be 4 because of mine is about to go live). We didn't have an infrastructure in place so I'm also in charge of building the infrastructure. In addition, my strategy is blocked by our CTO because he thinks we need to have the infrastructure in place before another strategy go live.
My question here is: who is normally responsible for building the infrastructure? Because so far the PMs are not contributing at all and they just bitch about issues that arise once in a while.

 | The Casio A1100D. Got it for a good deal on Flipkart during the sale. I was on the fence for this model for a few months now, when I saw the deal it was too good to pass on. Resizing the strap was confusing, luckily there was are YouTube videos to help out, and I had my watch kit with me. I like the strap only that it catches the arm hair sometimes, though not as bad the Casio AQ800. Maybe I'll change the strap later. If I have a complaint is the illumination. Hello Everyone!
I’m a nursing student who’s about to graduate in twelve months. I’m originally from Southern Ontario but I work in Northern Ontario.
Many of the patients as well as elderly residents I have worked with are french speakers, and that includes many of their families as well.
I want to be able to communicate effectively with my patients and their families to break that barrier of communication and create rapport with my patients.
I speak another language already (Arabic) but I find French difficult to get a good start on for some reason. Mainly the speaking aspects of it like pronunciation.
Are there any Ontario specific schools or courses that may help me learn french quickly?

Hello,
I have quite some inconsiderate guests right now, and I feel like I really need to install some type of home automation.
Here's the problem.
I know nothing about this whatsoever.
The only things I got that work with homekit are Philips Hue, but I then stumbled upon HVAC.
I have no idea what exact devices I should buy.
I have 2 LG split type inverters in the bedrooms and 1 TCL split type in the living room. Is there a way to have these aircons to turn off? They don't work with homekit so should I buy some smart plug for them.
What if they are directly connected without plug, directly into the electricity line?
Any help would be appreciated and I know I got to get:
- HVAC
- Window/Door sensers
But what else?

2025.01.19 16:50 oreomint64 Anxiety about irritated esophagus, need help
So 6 days ago I accidentally swallowed a slightly big piece of apple that should’ve been chewed more. I felt it do down my throat and it probably scratched it. It gave me the lump in my throat feeling on my upper left side. It feels like it’s slightly above my Adam’s apple.
Over time it got slightly painful to swallow and I can sorta feel a tickle or bit of an ache in my left ear which makes sense bc the ears and throat share nerves. This is only with liquids. If I swallow with food, I don’t feel the lump feeling at all.
I’m not sure if I have true dysphagia; when I swallow nothing ever comes back up and I never regurgitate, but sometimes I feel that food is sort of “sticking” in the back of my throat as soon as I swallow and I either have to clear my throat or swallow again or drink water.
Does esophagus irritation go away on its own? I just want to stop being anxious about this :/ I can hardly eat because I’m scared to.
