Feeling heavy in neck and traps.
I am feeling optimistic as I woke up early, got my workout in and finished my post workout in 1:30 hours.
Whilist I am still maladaptive daydreaming about how I don’t have someone close to me with whom I can reflect my feelings upon and feeling insignificant.
15:00-
Felt inferior and excluded as 2 girls laughed at me while I was passing by. I am damn sure this is because I am kind of scared and weird with socializing with girls and get made fun of due to this reason. This has happened many times and I feel bad about. I know it is a sort of joke to them but this shit hurts me.
22:00-
Dinner with the entire family and I felt indifferent because maybe I was bored and there seemed to nothing interesting or I just didn’t like the idea of how everybody was faking it as a family. I have also noticed I am this quite in parties with friends this might be due to they are not the vibe I want to chill with or just the presence of females drops my confidence/makes me nervous.
I giving a thought to talk with GOD because till my assumption it is more effective to communicate feelings verbally compared to words.

2025.01.20 02:44 liog2step Google Maps hijacking my screen if I’m in another app.
Say I am using CarPlay with Google Maps and Sirius or Spotify. If I have the screen on any app other than Google Maps I’ll get that pop up from Google Maps that’s gives me my next direction. Fine, it’s always done that. But now I feel like all of a sudden, I can’t select that pop up to take me back to Google Earth. Instead it just stays on the screen for like 15 seconds and I can’t do anything- it basically locks the screen.
I feel like this is a new thing as I’m on my third CX5 and just noticed it. And it’s driving me nuts. I’ve looked through Google earth settings and Mazda settings and I’ve come up empty. What’s going on here?

If you had $100K to invest for about 18 months, what would you invest it in and why? VTSAX/VFIAX? Small cap? A mix there of?
Background context: my wife and I are in our early 40s, live in a HCOL area and are about to sign a new lease for another year. We have money in the bank but not enough yet with which we'd be comfortable buying (see: HCOL area). Other than maxing out 401Ks, maxing out an HSA (and seeing investments grow in VFIAX), we don't invest. We have a HYSA and we're hoping to grow our money over the next 12-18 months to reassess the housing market at that time.

Hey there McFriends, On the eastern coast of the USA right now we are having extreme winter weather. Heavy snowfall, ice, and below freezing temperatures. We have been getting sent home early often lately at our store due to labor, so I really do not have the pocket change to buy 4 new tires for my A to B FWD car I take to work every morning to open at 5AM. My GM was very persistent about writing people up last week, when the weather was not good but not as bad as it is now, for call offs due to snow. She said people can be picked up. Both my opening manager and myself fear for our safety tomorrow morning. Roads have not been done well and there’s a lot of snow drift. Opening manager texted GM about the situation, and how she thinks she can probably make it at 7 at the earliest. She said that she cannot do it for her because of her home life/child, and that she needs to figure it out and get there regardless… but SHE is our GM. I am afraid if I text her about the same fears that she will treat me the same way and I also do not want to be written up. Does anyone have any suggestions???

2025.01.20 02:44 Wonderful-Editor8094 Would it be feasible to rent a truck to transport track car on regular basis?
Would it be feasible to rent a tow truck and car trailer to transport a track only car to track days? Or just rent a truck and buy a car trailehauler as another option, etc.
To explain were I got this idea or why I have it I'll start by stating I'm a lower income man who wants to get into amateur level motorsport, primarily road racing. And yes I know motorsport is not something a poor man can typically afford to do as a hobby, so let's just say I'm not poor in that I'm actually making the equivalent of an ok full time income in my area but I am definitely not rich. Continuing on I know I don't need to build a track only car to start doing track days but when I do I don't want to have to invest in a second or 3rd automobile just to tow a race/track car to the racetrack.
I originally was "dead set" on building a "play"-car that could pull double duty on track and street however after doing research it doesn't seem possible to get serious about any sort of even club racing (if it gets to that level). For example, In order to build a race car with 5, 6, or 7 point harness and rollcage one needs to wear a helmet which is illegal on public roads, as well as there being no D.O.T. approved 5, 6, or 7 point harnesses, it just doesn't seem possible to have serious track car that can spend any time on public roads legally.
All That being said I think I could get much farther if I didn't have to invest in buying and maintaining a truck for towing on top of the track car itself which would allow me to spend on other aspects of owning a track/race car. I would even consider living close enough to my job so that having an automobile to get to work is not necessary, that would allow me to invest more in a motorsport related hobby. I am just looking for the least expensive way I can eventually build/own a dedicated race/track car and possibly live the dream of actually participating in motorsports one day.

So I started Duolingo last year, but ended up dropping it when I was going through a stressful time. I decided to pick it up again and was pleasantly surprised to find I had retained a lot of what I had previously learned. I work full time and most of my afternoon gets taken up by daily tasks, so I usually aim to do lessons before bed, this was the same last time. The thing with that is if I’m not extra vigilant I might fall asleep and miss a day. I’d like to add the widget to remind me again, but this is honestly what made me drop the app last year.
I know it doesn’t sound like it should be that big of a deal, haha silly little owl is glaring at you and all that, but it really got to me when I wasn’t doing well myself. Every time I opened my phone to the angry owl countdown clock it just added to my anxiety like I was messing up just by opening the app later in the day. Sometimes I’d put off opening my phone because I didn’t want to acknowledge it and would miss a day. Soon the missed days added up and I found myself without any freeze streaks. It just left me feeling like I had failed at the course and I deleted it when I got down to my last freeze.
I want to be consistent, but I hate that countdown. Is there any way to have the widget just be the silly reminders without the sense of impending doom at night.
