Last year a lot of us felt a shift in the atmosphere if you Will and it didn’t feel good. This year as it switched over to 2025 I had a sense of peace. That’s totally opposite of how last year felt and how it went. Did anyone else experience this? It’s nice but I’m still on edge.

I’ve been cross stitching a year and a half now and I’m still scared to back stitch. I’ve only done it twice now and I don’t understand how people can do it so neatly and cleanly. Mine felt messy and clumsy and I hated it.
I even avoid patterns containing backstitching because I’m too chicken! Does anyone have any advice or suggestions to conquer this fear?! I feel silly. TIA

Maybe it’s me but stop using your kids and telling them what to say and do for engagement. This is not something she may want to know, but kids faces and images are taken from these accts to make horrible content for predators. All they need is an image. How would I know? It’s been reported in The NY Times and other major newspapers before.

Idk why actually I do know but I always find myself taking negatively about everything that's going on in my life from my studies like I failed and now am scared to stand up for myself and tell my parents that I want to switch course because they just wont let me like Im always thinking in an negative way and its getting worse not only when its related to academics but like for every single thing. I just cant with myself anymore, and its getting a bit worse since my parents are always taunting, lecturing that I need to study all the time and Im just fed up with my life in a way and dont know what to do. How do I fix the way I think and stop thinking in an negative way about everything and be calm and just go on with my life instead of yelling back at my parents and end up getting hurt.

2025.01.20 02:50 Resident-Worry1554 Hi-Z Gain Structure
I have my telecaster plugged into the Hi-Z input on the Apollo and I’m testing out different unison plugins. However, I have noticed that when I record into pro tools the waveform is very small and when I make the waveform bigger without increasing volume then the other tracks show way too big. Am I not gain staging properly? I have heard others say that you shouldn’t use the preamp gain when using Hi-Z because it automatically raising the volume to the correct level then you just go straight into the amp sim. I guess I’m confused at the correct way to setup the gain from the Gi-Z input into the unison plugins then into pro tools and then to the amp sim. The meter showing post insert fxs looks good but not the waveform. It makes it harder for me when I’m tracking guitars to know which region is which part.
