Hi all! So me and my party are about to finish up a campaign I started 2-3 months back and I'm thinking about starting up a new campaign set in a 1920-30's New York where they start off as either civilian or low-level grunts in one of the city's Mafia syndicates. I think I've got most of how I want the story to go but I'm trying to figure out how they would maybe be able to do things for both to kinda pit them against each other or help one come out on top if that makes sense? If you've run a similiar campaign or have any advice lmk! I'm all ears.

classic hangxiety story. on friday, i went out with coworkers, got invited to a secondary location, and feel like i got too drunk. well, i know i got too drunk from my pov. i don’t remember the last hour or so… just in bits and pieces. i think we just talked about random internet stuff. luckily, one of my best friends showed up and hung out with us that last hour after i gave her a text/call. feel like this might have grounded me. she gave me a ride home, which i remember well. she wasn’t mad at me the next day and none of my coworkers texted anything about me being “too drunk”.
i really struggled with binge drinking and this version of alcoholism (embarrassing myself publicly… falling around, puking in ubers, etc) in my early 20s and i’m scared that it’ll always haunt me. i want to be able to have a drink or a cocktail without getting carried away. alcoholism runs in my family. i also really struggle with depression and anxiety.
any advice or mental health tools appreciated!

Hi all, i work as a cook in a restaurant in Brussels.
Last week i got fired from my employer and was given a paper to sign where it says that from the 20 of January, one week notice period will start and my last day on the job will be the 27th of January.
The reason i was fired was only said verbally, i was not good "enough' for the job, but on the paper he gave there is no mention of it and only mentions droit a' l outplacement. What is this?
I moved to Belgium October 2024 and started working for this restaurant in December 2024. i was hired with a 7 months contract, with Attestaion Activa for the Brussels Region.
im a EU citzen, do i have right to a compensation-idemnite' following my termination and what are my rights? Where can i get help with the paperwork for an eventual unemployement? I worked 1 year in canada and 2 years in the Netherlands prior to working in Belgium
