A Lot of people in the community seem to be in favor of dems scaling back their trans advocacy since its unpopular with voters.
I don't agree with this approach because I don't think you can just stop advocating for a civil rights cause when its unpopular because then it will never be popular, dems were actually advocating for gay marriage when it was extremely divisive and won the public through engaging the oponents arguments.
What dems actually need to do is take strong stances and defend them (notice Kamala did the opposite of not taking and stances, not talking about it and letting reps set the narrative).
There are is a caviate to this so that people don't misinterpret what I am saying:
If theres an issue where the facts are against the "pro trans solution" dems should not advocate for it and make it clear they are not in favor, this would apply to my understanding of the trans sports debate, but the reason to not advocate for it should be based on facts and moral considerations and not on popularity with the public.

schizoaffective depressive type (suspicious now)
I was on lurasidone but I got the rare side effect of stimulant use disorder, and I didn't have the diagnosis yet, so I tapered down to 20MG (SUD went away).
I then got the diagnosis, first thing that made sense to me.
The reccommendation was to try a partial dopamine antagonist. So, I switched to 5MG of ability, tapering up every two weeks.
This does not make sense to me, but within three days of starting the ability, I began to shop compulsively, and my sleep changed.
This got worse and worse. I then spent ten grand, stopped sleeping, and keep spending money. I am selling my stocks. I'm buying people on reddit things. I'm using my father's Mastercard to help me do this.
What the hell? What happened? What do I do? Is this an emergency?
I don't have an O/P psychiatrist here. I had to fly to the states to see one to get a proper diagnosis and help, and im back in Canada on the two year waitlist to see one.
please help me

Hello,
In the next couple of months i will be building myself a new PC and was thinking about wether i should stay with Windows or go with Linux, since i'm not a big fan of the recent implementation and changes microsoft did.
So i wanted to ask, if i go with Linux, what would the best version for me be? I mainly use my PC to play games, primarily on Steam and GoG, but i also play standalone games, like Star Citizen and some gachas, like ZZZ and Wuthering Waves.
Beside gaming, i use my pc to make programs for university projects, mainly using visual studio/vs code and jetbrains application.
I don't know if the answer might change something, but i'm still thinking about what gpu to choose between AMD and Nvidia, either a 5070 or a 9070, and cpu is gonna be AMD.

Hello,
i have a very weird issue. I am using an mmc with lots of snap ins imported to manage my Domain.
Now i tried to add a few new WSUS Servers to that WSUS snap-in in author mode but if i save the changes, those wsus servers are gone after starting that mmc file again.
Any ideas why it doesn't save my changes?
