Hello,
I am a 20 year old currently helping the GoFundMe campaigns of two Palestinans, Mohammed and Kamal and occasionally three others on Twitter. I can confirm that these accounts are not scams.
I posted about this before but the situation has changed. Both of these people and their families are suffering especially with rising prices for basic food in Gaza. Mohammed has three young children to feed and Kamal has lost his son, mother-in-law and his nephew during the genocide. They need all the help they can get so they ask for more money. However I can’t keep doing this. My bank account gets emptied very quickly and my parents (who were not happy when they found I was doing this over the summer) will likely stop me from having a credit card if they find out I am still doing this. I spent 600 dollars donating to Kamal. I tried to tell Kamal I couldn’t keep donating and he was distraught to the point where I told him I will keep donating. What should I do in this situation? I need some guidance

2025.01.20 18:51 Hamiltonfan25 AITAH For Getting Angry With my Mom for How She Treated Me?
I 30 YO female and my 53 YO mother have always had a decent relationship. My dad and her husband of 31 years passed away from a stroke in August, so I’ve been trying to spend more time with her as we support each other through this grief.
In November, I experienced a traumatic wreck when a man biked out in front of me when I was driving. He had headphones in and was not wearing a helmet. He initially survived, but passed away from his injuries in December. I have been cooperative with the authorities, but the experience has still been incredibly traumatic.
This past week, I had to go to the police station again because one of my medications for my ADHD came back on a drug test indicating a false positive for METH. I was able to get it cleared up fairly quickly, but it was still incredibly traumatic and difficult on top of everything else.
My mom suggested I come home for the weekend and we could watch movies and just spend time together unwinding. I thought that sounded like just what I needed and made plans to do so. We ordered takeout, made hot chocolate, and got settled in to watch the movie.
20 minutes into the movie, my mom gets a call from a friend from her grief support group. They ended up talking for over an hour, I held up the remote asking if she wanted me to pause the movie, but she shook her head and told the person on the phone that she was watching a movie with me but “it’s just a simple-plot movie, I can follow it while talking to you.”
She stayed on her call until the last five minutes of the movie, as soon as she hung up she wanted me to fill her in on everything that happened. She did try to apologize, but I just told her never mind. She was five glasses of wine in at this point, so I just told her it was okay and to just drop it. She could tell I was angry, and I was, but I didn’t say anything else about it.
I know that she is grieving too, but I really put myself out there and needed my own additional support this weekend and I don’t feel like I got it.
I will admit that there’s a part of me that feels additional pain because when she and I talk on the phone, it tends to only be for a few minutes at a time. My dad and I had the kind of relationship where we could talk for hours and hours, but that’s not how mom and I’s relationship is. Yet, hearing her tell this friend that she loves how she can talk to him for hours and hours makes me feel invalid.
I did call my mother this morning and told her that (my tone was unmistakably angry, but I didn’t yell). She was irritated by me being upset and hung up pretty quickly, so now I am wonder if I ATAH for getting angry with her?

but I so.etimes wonder if there is a specific region migrants came from to have dishes that I don't see in other countries, such as:
-Lemon chicken (breaded chicken with a thick lemony sauce probably made with starch)
-Almond breaded chicken. Deep fried dnd coted with crunchy almond crumbs on a bed of cabbage
-Chinese deep fried bread. It has a sweet taste (like churros) and sesame oil. I love the the crispy outside and soft inside
-Chicken lollipops. Drumsticks made like a ball on the bone and deep fried

Im planning on getting a second hand laptop to use at home with serato. I wont be using stems on the fly and I would just be using it with my Flx-4. My budget is around 600-700€, and my question is would I be better off with something like an M1 mac from 2020 or 21 or should I be looking into professional windows machines around the same age or newer with possibly more ram and disk space. The laptop I currently use is an old Lenovo that I got for school around 2018ish, and the long startup time robs some of my motivation to play and record. I dont want to spend to much money on a new laptop since I want to stop using a laptop to dj, but I cant afford turntables, cdjs or other standalone gear that would actually be a reasonable upgrade from the flx-4. All insights are welcome, please help me out

Van egy párom, nem rég óta vagyunk együtt. Vagyis már 9-10 hónapja ismerkedünk, sajnos a távolság miatt nem tudunk olyan gyakran találkozni. Viszont ezalatt az idő alatt ha találkoztunk (hetekre) is egyszerűen sosem mesélt valami mélypontjáról vagy valami traumatikus eseményről ami nehéz lett volna. Egyszerűen úgy érzem, hogy neki ilyenek nincsenek. Nekem tini korom óra elég sok van sajnos, sok halál eset, mentális egészség, külföldön nehéz integrálódás tinikorban, nem tudok ezzel a 8-5 ig elmegyek dolgozni irodába minden nap életem végig mentalitással sem élni. Ő neki ez is rendben van.Félre ne értessék, nem a munkával van a bajom, mert tini korom óta dolgozok elég keményen.
Én nagyon szívesen veszek részt ilyen több órás mélybeszélgetésben, problémákról, ki mit élt nehezen. Nem szeretném hogy félre értse itt bárki és azt írja valaki, hogy miért nem örülök, hogy neki semmi ilyen nincs az életében, kiegyensúlyozott életet él, problémák nélkül.
Valahogy viszont úgy érzem, hogy mivel sosem élt át ilyen mélypontokat így nagyon átérezni sem tudja amikor én mesélek valami fájót. Ez alatt a 10 hónap alatt sosem hallottam még olyat, hogy éppen rosszabb napja lenne.
Furán hangozhat de valahogy a lelkem jobban tud úgy kapcsolódni, ha tudom, hogy a másik is élt át rossz dolgokat, tudja miről beszelek és őszintén tudunk beszélni az ilyen dolgokról.

I have a 2021 Audi Q8 and I understand there’s a 4,000/90 day warranty on it. The car has a slight vibration & with my experiences with Audi is that it’s the motor mounts. It’s not completely out but you can tell it’ll go out soon and get really bad.
Should I make an appointment with CarMax service center and have them check it out or should I take it to the Audi dealership for an oil change and get them to take a look at it & get them to diagnose.
Curious how this whole process works. Thanks in advance
