Hi folks, any advice would be much appreciated: I collected a prescription for Selegiline 10mg OD today for my 2.5y/o border collie, to help with her problematic anxiety, but I'm struggling to find anywhere that suggests it as an anxiety treatment. It seems to only really be given for canine cognitive impairment with SSRIs being more common in generalised anxiety.
I'm primarily concerned RE risk/benefit if not indicated given the side effects of MAOIs. Is it a reasonable treatment option?
For background: My BC is spayed, 17kg, otherwise well and I'm based in the UK. She gets severe separation anxiety and is overly sensitive to lots of sounds.

As said in the title, I'm looking for ways that I can continue playing killer while keeping a chill mindset. While I do think that the game is sort of survivor-sided these days (and that's a discussion for another thread) I do want to be able to play killer without getting frustrated and overwhelmed.
I can play multiple rounds of survivor but I feel like when you lose as survivor the blame is cut four ways and doesn't sting so much, whereas when you lose as killer you've nobody but yourself to blame. Are there any tips and tricks you all have to still have fun and keep it casual whilst getting looped, flashbanged, genrushed, teabagged, and so on?

2025.01.20 20:49 TheRaven1300 Mother refused to buy me flavored drink mix because I wouldnt tell her a specific brand and flavor. (I told her I didnt care what kind)
This is the stupidest and pettiest fight to have, that is why I'm mad lol.
I moved back with my parents while trying to find an apartment and a job (absolutely no one is hiring here and I've applied to 8 new places in person just last tuesday and a dozen more online)
I buy my own stuff, but 2 days ago she was at the store and asked if i needed anything, i said "I'll take some flavor packs if you can. I dont care what kind" (those exact words).
I put my phone down and went about my day (i dont like being on it all day, i like to unplug) Apparently she had responded and asked if i wanted a specific kind she gets for free at work (i already knew this and if i wanted them i would have asked for them). She decided that since i didnt respond that she would not get the drink mix. I was annoyed but fine, its just drink mix.
The next day she asked if i just wanted her flavor packs from the pantry, i said if i wanted yours i wouldnt have asked for my own. (I would have use All of her in less than a week, it only makes sense to have my own). She was already going back to the store and said she would get some. While at the store she kept texting me and asking me which flavor and brand and do i want vitamin water or something else. I understand asking for a preference on things out of courtesy but i already said i didnt care, and i told her that.
She responded by saying she clearly didnt understand what i had asked for so i should tell her again. (Which i would have done, but for context, none of this would be annoying if we hadnt already had some version of this conversayion about a hundred other things, where i give very specific and clear instructions for basic things and she always ignores them.) I said no. She said she wouldnt be getting me any then if i didnt tell her exactly what i wanted. She continued to argue sematics on the phone about how she thought "i dont care what kind" EXCLUSIVELY meant what brand or antioxidants or vitamins etc and NOT what flavor.
I said again "i already told you i dont care" and then I told her how she always does this, over very basic and otherwise meaningless things. And the example i gave her was my dog...she didnt like this...
(I reminded her of all the times she has complained about me giving her rules about what shes not allowed to do with my dog (i dont like her getting in the kitchen, on furniture, or if i ask her to feed her and put her up for bed when im gone) she said she feels controlled when i do this, and i didnt want to argue so i said "i dont care anymore, do whatever, just let me know if you feed, let her out, put her up, so i know what i need to do when i get back)
She then REPEATEDLY asks me Every. Single. Night. about what she should do with my dog when im not home and i repeatedly tell her "i dont care just let me know")
...she started yelling so i hung up before i said stuff i would regret. (No one make me angry the way she does, so i know i definitely sounded like an a$$ on the phone with my tone of voice, but this is a conversation i feel like we have every 4 days, so yes, if im mad im not gonna hold it in).
TLDR; Its not about the drink mix anymore. AITA for being annoyed that she keeps asking for constant direction and clarification, and for not answering the questions that I have already (and repeatedly) given her the answers to? If I'm missing something here, I really do want to know.

Recently, a new family moved in to the house next to ours. We share the side wall. I know houses here aren't the best for noise insulation, but before we had neighbors we almost couldn't hear them. Now, this new family doesn't talk, they shout to each other. They jump going up and down the stairs and they don't understand that at night there should be some silence expected, especially after 22h. I've been there once and the lady apologized, but nothing much changed. I know the law, the procedures and so on, so my question is very direct. Can their landlord terminate their lease due to noise nuisance, if I managed to document all the process, talk with police, my landlord and so on? My point is, do I have a chance of them move out or at least calm down due to the threat of contract termination. thanks
