2025.01.20 20:44 New-Estimate4844 Maple Hardwoods Changing Color FAST
Seeking any assistance. We had our floors replaced in August 2024. We went with a high end Maple by Mercier. In December, when we were making space for our Christmas tree and moving around furniture I saw that the maple was changing color under surfaces. I knew that maple would age.
However, what alarmed me was how fast it was aging. In under four months, the colors between our rug, planters, side table, and pretty much anything on the floor are leaving this harsh line. It's doing it in both places that receive sunlight and places that receive very little direct sun. The rugs are the worst—however, one rug is synthetic, and one rug is wool.
We talked to our flooring contractor, and they say it is normal, but it seems so fast to me. Any help or advice would be appreciated, as I know nothing about floors.
(PS I live in Alberta, which is a very dry environment, so I'm not sure if this matters.)

Doordash changed how their ratings pop up and now I keep getting 4 star reviews. No, i haven’t been having issues with orders. I have had 2 customers message me after my delivery and apologize for not giving 5 star due to issues with how the layout of the app. Can there be something like a 30 second grace period for customers to change their ratings of us? I’m a 4.96 now but I was SO close to getting 5.00 just a week ago.
I ended up ordering Doordash for a friend across the country and noticed that the rating layout had changed and I almost gave a 4 star rating to MY dasher! Is this on purpose? Did nobody test out the changes before implementing it across the country?
Anyways, I’m annoyed with the change. 4.96 after thousands of deliveries is fine but it takes FOREVER for 100 new ratings to pass through.

Has anyone else gotten a letter from the IWK informing them a cyber attack has compromised their personal info? The date says an email account compromise occurred in Dec 2023. I haven’t seen any news on it, and it doesn’t sound like part of the earlier MOVEit hacks which happened in May 2023.
Seems like a lot of info was exposed including Name, Contact info, DOB, health card number and patient treatment/diagnosis info.
Is there any steps I should take to try to secure my personal info and make sure this doesn’t affect me in the future?

As the title says, I had placed an order for shipping items of my clothes. From college, Gandhinagar Gujarat, To Dubai, Uae.
As the parcel arrived, My Expensive Leather jacket and other clothes are missing. Upon calling and confronting him, he said he is not responsible. So who is responsible then? Your neighbor. Retarded owner. The courier name is Bombax courier service, Gandhinagar.
I want to file a consumer complaint and get my compensation. How to file a complaint and get a refund? Please help I'm clueless.
These companies need a strict action and need to be punished.
