his character is just not doing it for me. its a shame because i was honestly really excited when i saw his audition tape and i was like "woah, ok, this guy will definitely be a cool strategist, potential villain". and i still think there's a chance he may, but so far in these episodes i feel like he's just been the opposite of how the audition tape presented him i.e., the not-strategic decision to go against Jade's plan and vote Diego ffs. and the flag incident from the first immunity challenge still baffles me, along with other cases of him not making smart moves whatsoever despite his game stereotype. i understand that he's not meant to be a kind character, and I don't really ship Diencer at the moment (based on how Spencer treats Diego, yet again, for a million, it does make sense to keep a distance), but if Spencer keeps lasting long and eliminating characters that actually seem more interesting than him, i'm gonna explode lmao.
also i feel like this is worth mentioning, if you like Spencer, i'm 100% fine with that, I don't wanna sound like an absolute hater lmao. i do think if diegos elimination actually breaks Spencer free from his distraction which was the reason he stated for wanting to eliminate diego, then he could actually start making things interesting and serving the plot the way i thought he would before. i do overall think he could be a cool game changer, but for the past few first episodes he hasn't done that much besides work with Jade, and now that Diego is out of their alliance, im not sure how that's gonna work. the entire alliance on red team is likely going to divide now (good game move on Ivy's half, now she has the numbers), and now Spencer and Jade may be in a lotta shit lmao.
i do have to say props to the writers though because now red team is in an interesting place, i just wish they didnt make the supposed strategist working on a masters of statistical probability to be the one who put the team in that position and could've spelled his own elimination at the same time. yet again, it's still early and anything could happen!!!

2025.01.20 21:00 VisualAdvanced3336 [TN] University Served Me Roach Coffee. What Should I Do?

I went to the dining hall yesterday and there was what looked like coffee grounds that had slipped through the filter. After drinking most of my cup, I decided to go and get one with icecream in it (like Sonic). While I was pouring the coffee I saw a roach crawl out from the dispenser and when I looked down to the light colored coffee I saw flakes and a leg shaped bit. I then realized it was full of roach sheddings and not coffee grounds.
I immediately left the dining hall with my gf and vomited from the thought of it. I went back in an hour later and collected a sample in case the dining hall said there were no bugs in the coffee. This isn't the first instance of a roach infestation on the campus either. The previous one had shut down and hasn't reopened. I ended up emailing the county health inspectors about the incident.
What should I do? I have a meal plan that I can't refund (~$1500 cost) and I don't think I can eat there again. I also have an irrational phobia of roaches. I also have a scholarship at the university and don't want to be kicked out if I took legal action. I'm so disgusted and feel gross constantly if I think about it. Please help me figure out what to do.

Hey WR reddit community!
I have found myself (despite the awful toxic trolls) really loving this game and having a crap ton of fun playing it. My top 2 roles are Support and Mid - I can handle Baron/Dragon and still need some more confidence to touch Jungle.
I'm LOVING diving into the technique, details, builds, etc but considerably overwhelmed at where to start or how to learn to be a better teammate and player besides spending all my time in AI matches and Solo Games. I find they help with the basics, getting to know some solid things...but do very little to prepare you/teach you about working with teammates playing different characters/roles, fighting against certain enemies.
Now I already combed this sub reddit, watched some YouTube videos, etc.
I hop on here and am in awe of some people speaking deeply about certain builds/custom builds (whereas I just load whatever looks right on the surface) or chatting about how to choose your champ based off of other teammates - im at a loss but I want to learn!
So, here I am asking you to share your insight and wisdom as someone who wants the nitty gritty and wants to understand it all a bit more than I do. I don't want to play with a casual understanding, but am overwhelmed as to where to start or go.
For background, I'm a DND DM and have a pretty good mind for the technical side of things (I think lol), but maybe that won't even help me here...
Regardless, thank you for your time and I look forward to anything you can share.

Hi! I bought today the Capture Card HD60S+ for streaming retro games from my Windows XP PC (High End Setup for Windows XP) to my Gaming Laptop. I connected the Capture Card to my Windows XP Pc via HDMI into the gpu then at the output to my Gaming Laptop, i was able to get only the image over to my Laptop without sound(into OBS) and now I’m stuck at this because i have no clue how to solve this after spending more hours of researching…what i’m doing wrong? I (F22) am the older sister who graduated high school and moved away from home, only returning on holidays and a week or so during the summers. My sister (10 y/o) lives with my dad and step mom and wrote me a concerning letter.
Just to set the scene a bit, the parents are the type to argue and verbally fight almost constantly. Big issues, small issues, non-issues... any and everything becomes a fight. When I was a kid and still at home, I asked them why they fought all the time and they said "It's just how we communicate. Don't worry about it". So, naturally, I grew up into an anxious person who gets jumpy and shuts down at loud noises and people fighting, and wanted to leave home ASAP.
When my sister was younger, I didn't worry about her as much because my dad always talks about how he wants to change and "be a better dad to her than he was to (me)" so I assumed he'd work on his communication and anger. This obviously hasn't happened.
In the letter she wrote me, she asks for advice on what she can do to help them and stop their fighting. She added an extra note saying "They are fighting a lot please help us. Please help! I mean it." and I'm incredibly worried.
I'm wondering how I should go about helping her in a way that doesn't violate her trust in me. Part of me wants to talk to my parents about the letter and how their communication is affecting her. She doesn't have a phone so I can't call or text her personally to offer guidance, everything from me to her must be letters in the mail. I could also possibly ask to talk to her on one of my parents' phones alone, but that may draw suspicious and I don't even know what to say or offer. It hurts me to see my childhood being repeated with her and I want to help. I'm just not sure how.
Any advice would be appreciated.
