Hi everyone,
A bit of backstory — I created an eCommerce jewelry brand and launched it three months ago. Initially, I hired a digital marketing agency overseas that promised to handle everything: META ads, SEO, content creation, etc. Since I also have a full-time job, I trusted them and got caught up with other responsibilities. It took me three years to realize this was a mistake — I wasn’t seeing results, and I had no visibility into what was really working.
After realizing that digital marketing and branding make up at least 75% of a product-based eCommerce business, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I stopped all ad spending and began studying digital marketing and eCommerce on my own to save money and build the knowledge I need to make smarter decisions moving forward.
So far, I’ve taken the “Foundations of Digital Marketing” course by Google. While it’s a good starting point for tracking your progress, I wouldn’t recommend dedicating 3–6 months to it. Instead, I’ve been combining this with self-study from various resources. I also created a document called "Marketing Campaign Steps" to organize my learning and campaigns.
My goal is to fully understand digital marketing, regain control of my ad spending, and start running more effective campaigns in two months. Since Q1 is usually slower in North America, I want to use this time to learn as much as I can so I can hit the ground running.
Right now, my biggest challenge is understanding my audience. I know tools like SEMrush can be useful, but since it’s a paid tool, I’m hoping to find other effective (and free) ways to analyze and understand my market and customer base better.

I went on a vacation to Cuba a few weeks ago for a wedding. Lots of people were there for the couple. The brides best friend who I met on this trip got drunk and tried to have sex with me. He even started off by telling me he was married. He said some pretty messed up shit and tried to grab me before I ran off. I’m 18 btw and he is 40. I told another person I knew and they told me they talked to him and he was a great person and that it was fine and nothing would have happened. He apologized to me and I thought it was fine. He also asked me not to tell my dad because my dad was on the trip as well, so he knows he messed up. I did genuinely enjoy talking to him and we talked ( mostly because he was part of this big group) a few days later he got drunk again and told me that he knew I liked all the things he said to me and that I wanted the attention. I yelled at him and ran off and within an hour he was following me around trying to talk to me like it never happened. He is married but his wife did not come on the trip and I do not know her. I don’t know if I should tell her, I found her socials. He told me their marriage was already bad and I don’t want to be the person to ruin a marriage. Should I just leave it?

I have three plants in my backyard: a pomelo tree, a kumquat tree, and a lime tree. This year, something unusual happened with the pomelo tree because it stopped bearing regular pomelo fruit. Instead, it started producing super-large fruit that keeps growing until it reaches the size of a watermelon. I tasted the fruit, and the pulp inside was sour like a lemon, while the skin tasted bitter like a pomelo. The tree didn’t produce fruit like this last year. We watered it regularly and used Miracle-Gro on the plants. I’ve had this tree for over 10 years, and I’ve never seen anything like this before. Should I uproot this tree and plant something else? These fruits look like they’re not from this world. When the fruit are small, it look exactly like a lime and taste exactly like a lime.

2025.01.21 00:45 Shamelezz-2002 16 Days Post-Treatment – Need Reassurance/Opinions
Hi everyone, I’m 16 days post-treatment (6 doses of benzyl benzoate over 4 weeks), and I’ve seen drastic improvements since finishing. For the past two weeks, the itching was minimal to nonexistent, which gave me hope that this nightmare was finally over.
However, yesterday, I started experiencing odd itching on the backside of my head and the lower part of my legs (above the ankles). The itching wasn’t severe but was enough to make me anxious. I also noticed some red dots on my back, which I’ve attached photos of for reference. I want to stress that I haven’t noticed any new burrows and that the previously affected areas (hands, feet, groin, buttocks, genitals) are fine so far.
To test things out, I turned the heat up and stayed under a heavy blanket. The itching increased a bit while it was hot, but once I took the blanket off, the itching drastically calmed down, especially on my legs. I also applied Elocom to one itchy spot, and it seemed to help almost immediately.
I’m worried about reinfestation but trying to stay rational. Has anyone else experienced flare-ups like this during post-scabies recovery? Could these red dots just be part of the healing process or something else entirely?
Any reassurance or insight from those who’ve been through this would mean the world to me. Thank you!
