So my mum was very affectionate towards my younger cousins, or neighbour kids.
I was very jealous of my cousin who was a few years younger than me. And this particular cousin bullied me too. I remember growing up hating her. So my mum would be quite verbally abusive with me and I felt unloved. At the same time, seeing how she was affectionate, complimenting others but me.
She would let my younger cousins play with my stuffs like my books, my stuffed animals. Gave them my pyjamas to sleepover, and the stuffs would get ruined. I raised my concern that I did not like it when she let them play with my stuffs. My mum and her sisters called me a selfish brat. I was brought up in this kind of mindset that if you are older, you must let the younger.
Every time when i heard that they would come for a weekend get together and sleepover, I get very sad and would go cry in secret. I was hurt that instead of getting some support, I got called a selfish brat and couldn’t do anything to protect my beloved stuffs. I was not allowed to cry in front of my mum, she would call me names if I did. I was never relaxed.
So it affected me growing up because I became very protective of my stuffs when I was in my teen years. E.g. I don’t let anyone borrow anything, not touching my phone etc. I got ptsd.

I just wanted to shout out and salute xMrStealYourLootx on PSN Official 2782 Livonia for being an absolute class act and for providing me and my duo partner one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had playing the official servers as relatively newer players.
CONTEXT: I have one friend I often play DayZ with. We both have played on official servers for roughly 400 hours each. We have managed to convince three other friends to get the game and they are all enjoying it. Yesterday evening, we all had a sesh and played Livonia, which we all have little experience playing on. After playing together for a few hours and making it to the church at Nadbor, one person in our group logged off. We decided to keep playing for a bit longer and after doing some inventory management, we opened the door of the church and stepped outside. Suddenly, BOOM. Someone fires a M79 explosive round at us that put my two other friends' health into yellow.
We scramble... xMrStealYourLootx then systematically and swiftly demolished me and my squad in Nadbor with an M79 launcher, an LAR, with a sling bag over his shoulder. Made swift work of us solo in one minute.. We were a little shocked but also pretty impressed at how much he schooled us. My character that he killed was the most kitted I’ve ever been in the game/ was my longest life with many twists and turns. It had come to an end. I had an akm, dmr, drum mags, 20 rnd dmr mags, plate… the works. A few minutes later, he added me on PSN... I assumed he was going to be a troll lord who was going to gloat about his kills (which, I wouldn’t have blamed him. He absolutely wrecked us and we had no idea he was going to ambush us). I added him and figured why not…
This guy then starts sending me a video clip of the kills. I congratulate him and say gg. He then messages me and says that he stashed all of our loot in a bush nearby the church where he killed us and sends a video of the bush and all the loot there. I thanked him for letting us know. I wasn’t sure if he was trolling us and didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of letting him know that me and my buddy were going to try and trek back over to nadbor to see if the loot was still there. He messages me again and says that after he killed us, nadbor broke out into a warzone and he killed a few more ultra kitted people there. He asked if those were any of my friends and I said naw, you got us all.
He THEN wants me to send him a party chat. I ignored it for maybe like 15 minutes and then he messages again saying he’s flashing red at nadbor and logged off because it was too hot over there after he destroyed like 7 guys total. He asks to send a party chat again so this time, me and my friend oblige thinking what’s the worst that can happen? If he trolls us or is a dick, we’ll just leave the party.
This legend then proceed to chat with us and he’s a super chill dude. We were congratulating him and asking him questions about his technique. We were both struggling a little as freshies on Livonia so this guy asks us to share our screw to view our gameplay. He then guides us to nadbor without a compass and from the north and we get there in no time, maybe 15 minutes tops.
We go to the bush where he left our S tier loot and it’s still all there. Our plates, our helmets, two akms, a tundra, a dmr + required mags all in the same spot. He logged back on when we got to nadbor and met up with us. He then goes “oh, one of the guys I killed had a kitted m4 with mags. Anyone want it?” My friend says yes and proceeds to ditch the akm for an m4. We go to house, cook some food we had, and then all log off in a bush, losing none of our amazing loot.
After totally flexing on us in PVP, this server lord decided to take pity upon us mortals, stashes our loot in a safe spot, and then proceeds to assist us getting it back with no weird expectation and no attempt at trolling us.
After months and months of KOS and very little interaction outside of the coast/ fresh spawn zone, I just wanted to shout out xMrStealYourLootx for being the exception, not the rule in DayZ, and for legit living that life as a legend of the server. I bend the knee and tip the hat to you, sir, and hope that your actions can somehow inspire someone as experienced as you to be cool to the newer players every once and a while.
TLDR: A grizzled vet effortlessly kills me and my squad, immediately takes pity on us, massively helps us out, and in the end decided to not be an asshole to a stranger on a video game.
Feel free to shout out any other legends of the server you can think of in this thread! I'm interested in any other similarly memorable tales.

Hello! Friday I attended an outdoor edm festival in my town (Montreal, Canada) and got my phone with all my cards in it stolen (ID, koho card that I use as my main banking card, etc). Sadly by the time I woke up the next morning the person already made several expensives purchases on my card. I don't work a big salary rn so yeah I am broke af now 😅 Obviously as soon as I saw it I blocked the card, made a report to koho about the fraudulent purchases. Phone is also locked and blacklisted. I'm just wondering how long Will it take for them to reach back to me so I can have my money back... I also reported to the police. I will go check security cameras of the store the person purchased since I kinda know where it was. Thanks in advance!
