2025.01.20 23:19 Phone-Creepy How do I build a emotional connection
I am in my early 20s and I met this guy at the bar almost 2 months ago. we had just started hooking up for about the first month and a half keeping it pretty surface level because i didn’t want anything more with him at the time but he had wanted more before this so he had kinda shut down on me a little bit, not talking too much about his life and keeping it very surface level during that time, but then I decided I’d wanted something a little bit more and we were gonna try to work towards a relationship. So the sex is really great and we hang out quite often but it’s still very surface level and I don’t know why it’s almost like we have nothing to say to each other, but we’re completely fine with just like hanging out and like being each other’s presents we like a lot of the same stuff but as far as conversation goes we never really talk about anything serious and it’s been bothering me it’s almost like I don’t know what to say to him. I don’t really find he asks me very much about myself and doesn’t really tend to elaborate on stuff. I talked to him today. Told him it was bothering me that we really had a great sexual connection, but I didn’t know if the emotional connection was there and he kind of agreed saying we could definitely work on that, but we are both kind of stumped on how to change it and kind of came to the conclusion that things kind of got messed up when I told him I didn’t want anything more because then he shut down on me and became very closed off and if I say he doesn’t ask me very much then he will say I don’t ask him very much, but I try to ask him stuff just doesn’t really go anywhere conversations don’t go anywhere really we don’t know how to change it. What do I do and it hasn’t been too long since I had told him this, but I feel like we hang out quite often and I don’t feel any closer to him or feel like I know anymore about him then when we first met and I don’t know if it needs time and maybe the conversation I had with him today will change things I don’t know any advice would be appreciated and we are also very comfortable around each other but the deep conversations don’t happen as I want them to and I don’t wanna force anything.

I just got a ring sizing kit off Amazon. I am between a 7 & 8. The 7 is a touch snug and the 8 is a bit loose. I have read that the actual ring runs a bit bigger. This would be good if I ordered the 7 but too big if I got the 8. Im wondering if anyone has had experience exchanging rings for a different size? The website doesn’t make it clear if they let you exchange for a different size & I have read that some people say they weren’t able to exchange for sizing issues. I am reluctant to buy something that I can’t exchange if it doesn’t fit.

 | Hello folks! We have a favorite mug that has formed a crack that goes straight through the mug. Last time we had coffee out of it we noticed it verrrrrry slowly seeping out. Pictures attached of the crack. I have looked into this on Reddit and people suggest to either stop using mugs like this to drink, or use a “food-safe”, heat-safe epoxy or sealant. 2025.01.20 23:19 LORD_NASCAR This game is dying
Really pains me to say this but this game really feels like it’s dying. This is the closest I’ve been to stopping playing. I feel like if you disagree you’re either in denial or you’re lucky enough to be on a server that doesn’t show it yet . I’m not low ranking , and I play everyday. I’m not a conquerer kinda player but I’m more than good enough. After playing this for about 5 years it’s completely different. The AI bots have ruined it , the countless additions of new modes has spread the player base thin, and the matchmaking is a joke. I play this game for fun. And now I’m set with matches that’s either the equivalent of playing basketball with a child or being thrown into the NBA. I really hope they try and fix this and honestly they need to get rid of some of these modes. I find myself lobbying halfway through matches nowadays mostly because it’s completely filled with bots.

Hello, looking for some feedback on my Spain itinerary, specifically around traveling within Spain. Planning to visit for the first time in June from the US. Primarily interested in food and culture/history. Here is the plan:
- Fly into Madrid & stay 3 nights
- Train to Barcelona & stay 3 nights
- Fly to San Sebastian (EAS) & stay 4 nights
- Train to Madrid & stay 2 nights
- Fly home from Madrid
Anything I'm overlooking with this plan? Any logistical or experiential reasons it would be better instead to take the train from Barcelona to San Sebastian and fly back to Madrid? (Like is one way more scenic than the other?) Or is it better if we take the train or fly both ways?

I am working on a birthday present for a relative. They are a huge sports and movie fan and collect steelbooks. I had a custom steelbook made for his favorite sports team's run to a championship. I have the files of all of their playoff games.
My current plan is to put them on a 128GB USB, but I am curious if it would be possible to burn them onto a disc that could play on his Panasonic 4k player. I'm not entirely sure how much better the experience would be with the games on a CD instead of a USB, but I would like to try it. What kind of discs/burner would I need? Would I be able to build a "menu" for him to navigate between games?

Something having sentimental value means it holds feelings of tenderness, sadness or nostalgia. I feel all 3 of those things however objects, places or events don't hold any sentimental value to me. Nothing is sentimental to me. So my reasoning behind this is I don't attach any emotions to objects, places or events. But why do some people attach emotions to objects and others don't? Why do some people hold sentimental value in things and others don't? For example an heirloom my deceased great-grandmother left behind. To me it is just some expensive tableware. To the rest of my family it is holds sentimentality. What causes the separation between me and them?
