All right guys, I need some advice. I freelance as a hobby and side hustle now but professionally freelanced in the past. I have a good 9-5 that is not related to my degree (BFA 2006) that pays well and I travel for work 50% of the year. I have had my 21.5” iMac (2011) since new that was maxed out on ram and hd. I got the entire Adobe creative suite CS6 in 2012 and the computer and all the programs still run flawlessly. I back up everything monthly. I use photoshop, illustrator, indesign, and digital drawing apps on my iPad (illustrator, photoshop, procreate) pretty often. The problem is that I’ve run into the technology lag issue where the creative cloud is something I’m unfamiliar with and there’s new Adobe features I would love to utilize. I don’t intend on ramping up the freelance business anymore than currently but get too much work to not have a good setup. I know what my next computer will be if I take that step. Rock this setup until the wheels fall off or get a new MacBook and do the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription before it’s too late? Thanks!

Yes he is on a tether until he learns how to be a farm dog and not a city dog. Hello! I was setting up by Google Business profile through Wix and got this message, "Due to an issue with Google's system, you need to complete the verification process on Google. All your information is saved there as well."
But because it's a new business, when I go search my business profile to verify manually like Google Suggests, my business isn't there. Is there another solution? Or do I need to wait it out? Thanks for any ideas.

“Funny” thing is I just made a comment on this sub expressing how things have been getting better for us, but man was I wrong.
Everytime I begin to let my walls/guard down to let him back in I’m just hit with a huge reminder on why I built them up in the first place. We’re both in our early 20s and I can’t do this for the rest of my life. I’ve tried for 3 years and he just keeps getting more and more hurtful with his words and actions.
There was a time I was left crying so bad I was throwing up and couldn’t eat properly for a few days. It sucks because I really loved him. He was the first person I ever loved romantically, but I feel like I’m losing myself in this process. None of my friends really get it so I figured I can make a post here and just get this off my chest. For the most part I’m okay, but when I think about the good times I start breaking down wanting to reach out but I know it’s not good for me…

I tend to take long walks at night. I also tend to not pay attention to where I am going.
I have on more than five occasions found myself within ten feet of a moose or bear without either of us knowing it was there.
I have only needed to kill one animal in this situation, but just having my .41 on me while I walk at night makes me feel safer.

 | I'm honestly frustrated with how bad it is. I was doing a really interesting roleplay where I was a psychologist asking a violent murderer questions just for the heck of it. And I'm not kidding, EVERY SINGLE MESSAGE was filtered. It's getting annoying. I can understand filtering sexual things to an extent, but I don't think anybody cares about violence.
