The theme was rave, I personally never been to one, but know what ppl wear at raves (I’ve seen rave fits on tt) and knew that rave fits can be extremely revealing, so I went with that look. 2025.01.21 00:50 glocks9999 Something needs to change with wins giving 2-3x as much ranked points as losing up until diamond
I constantly get paired with teammates in plat where I'm baffled with how they got up there. Out of curiosity I check their profile after the game and usually, they have negative winrates (I've even seen people with sub 40% winrates with 150+ games in plat).
Why does winning a game give 2-3x as much rank points as losing? This is making it so that people are getting higher ranks than they belong in just because of the sheer amount of games they are playing.
I heard this stops in diamond, but easily being able to get plat just by playing a lot of games shouldn't be a thing.

For context, my girlfriend [22F] broke up with me [23M] at the weekend.
We were together for about 7 months but had seeing each other for about 8-9 months altogether.
From the first time I met her, it was clear there was something special there and things really took off. Never in my life before had I ever felt so compatible and safe and comfortable with another human being, and it’s clear she felt the same. With the exception of a period of about month when she was home from University in the summer, we saw each other multiple times a week, we went on fun dates, we were very compatible sexually, our families and friends were very happy for us and very approving and accepting of our relationship. Everything was absolutely perfect and this was the case up until about 3 weeks ago.
Completely out of the blue in between Christmas and New Year (I can’t remember the exact date) she suggested breaking up. Not once had she ever talked to me about any problems, but she insisted she’d made up her mind. She said she needed to be alone, she needed to focus on herself and wasn’t in a position to be in a relationship for the foreseeable future. It is also worth mentioning she had started some pretty horrible medication a month or so prior to this for a condition which I won’t go into detail about, but it has taken a huge toll on her physically and mentally.
After she got back from seeing her family at Christmas, we met up, and she was inconsolable. Crying her eyes out, absolutely hysterical, telling me how much she loves me, but she needs to do this for herself, that it is horrible imagining her life without me but she had made her decision and had to stick with it, and that was that. We had one final phonecall today and she initiated no contact.
She is not a girl who likes to date a lot or sleep around, and she hadn’t actually been on a date in nearly a year before meeting me, so I don’t think it’s a case of her leaving to get with someone else, and I trust her with all my heart, but something about this is so much harder than any other breakup I’ve been through.
She did absolutely nothing wrong, there’s not even the smallest negative from our relationship which I can latch onto to convince myself this is good for me in the long run. It’s always going to be a case of what-if’s and what could have been’s if the timing was right or she was in a better frame of mind, or she wasn’t taking this horrible medication with the horrible side effects.
How do you get over something like this when there was fundamentally nothing wrong? It’s so much easier when you hate someone or you can see flaws and long term incompatibilities, and you know that it was never going to work out long term. It is absolutely heart wrenching having to say goodbye to someone you love who loves you just as much, and knowing no matter what you say or do or suggest, there is nothing you can do to change their mind, because there is nothing wrong with you, it’s just they aren’t in a position to commit right now. I know no contact is a good first step, and because she initiated it, she is the one who blocked me, so I can’t look at her social medias profiles or send her messages even if I wanted to, but are there any other tips or things that anyone can suggest to help me view this from a different perspective. Because at the moment it really feels like I’ve lost the most perfect relationship I will ever have.
