I like socializing with people but over time now that I’m 27M, I have grown to enjoy more of my alone time plus I’m very cheap than I was in my early twenties. I would like to do more things but they cost a lot and I live in the outskirts of the city so commuting back and forth isn’t what I want to do anymore now since it’s a waste of time and money. I only go out once in a while with coworkers but even then they’re younger than I am, I relate to some and have common interests with them, at the same time we’re at different stages in our lives. I eventually want to find someone that enjoys being a homebody and do things with as well, but most women I know are very extroverted, and like doing stuff but their idea of “fun” is very expensive. But I think I’m trying to get here is, how many of you were very outgoing early on but now love the way of getting away from people and enjoying the peace of staying home now.

Here it is.
Lenovo Thinkbook G7 (Gen 7) Intel Core Ultra 7 155H for the CPU. 64GB DDR5 2TB SSD Arc Graphics
I'm just a bit confused, because I can't find another Thinkbook with the 155H in it. Only the 125U and 155U, which aren't as a good. Is it possible they are just a vendor with a variant?
Also I know that it has 64GB of RAM, but these usually only have 32. It might even be 32 as the max, but I could be wrong. The SSD would make sense because there's an expandable area. It feels like it's possible that this company just upgrades them manually, but it still doesn't explain the CPU difference.
It looks like Amazon is vouching for it, and it does come with a 30 day return/refund policy as it's fulfilled by Amazon.
I just want to make sure I'm not getting some weird Le-faux-vo (you're welcome) that got cobbled together by a ghost company. I don't know the laptop world or prebuilt desktop world, so this might be totally common to have different cpu's than the official documents. If you've got any thoughts about it, let me know please! One of my US-based clients, who I’ve been working with for the past two years, recently asked if I’d be open to receiving payment in cryptocurrency. While I understand how unregulated the crypto space is and admit I know very little about it, I feel more comfortable sticking to getting paid in good old USD.
That said, I’m wondering if I’m missing out on an opportunity here. I’m hesitant to dive into something I don’t fully understand, but it feels like it could be worth exploring. Hi, I have a Nokia with Android 9 and a Sony with Android 10 and 3 Apps don't work there anymore since around 2 weeks. Yesterday I found out, that those apps don't work cause of the WLAN. Which means, when I turn the Wlan off on the smartphone, and use the internet from the sim card provider, it works perfectly again.
I have even an older iphone which I never use and tested it there and it works with the wlan without a problem.
The apps that don't work have just a very very long loading time. So it needs like 2 to 5 minutes to be in the app, if it not shows a error. And then within the app it sometimes crashes or when i look for something needs longer then usuall to load.
1 app is very important for me, it's the buying/selling platform for my country. So whenever someone contacts me, I have to go to my PC and write from there back to the customer. Which is very annoying.
Someone has a clue why this happenend? And on the same apps on both of my android phones?
And just on 3 apps? The other like 20 to 30 still works perfectly fine.
They don't work/load just when I'm connected to the Wlan?
I deleted the cache from the app, even deleted the app itself and installed it again, restareded the phone etc.. And nothing worked

Had a very strange thing happened to my GF's new 2024 EquinoxEv. It was parked in her drive way was unlocked with the handles sticking out and was not responding to the key fob and the car was on. If we got in the car with the key fob the dash said press brake to shift but as soon as you put your foot on the brake the car shut off. Then as soon as you opened the door the car turned itself back on and left itself unlocked. It's like it was working backwards it would turn itself on and leave itself unlocked when you walked away with the key, but when you got it with the key it would turn off as soon as you hit the brakes. We couldn't figure out what to do so we left it that way for probably like 30 minutes waiting to see if the car would turn off. Eventually I got in and it said put the key in the cup holder, and then finally I was able to shift the car into drive or reverse and turn it off. But for awhile there we were unable to do anything with the car, could lock it or move it. Anyone experience anything like this? What was the cause? What is the fix if it happens again?

Last night my Omnipod 5 gave a constant beep that I just remember my doctor talking about it indicating failure and that you should swap to a new pod. I then realised that is was my Libre sensor that had stopped working. That had never happened before using Libre 2 with insulin pens as I did before I started with Omnipod.
This night I’ve slept so badly, because the device has given me alarms now and then during the night. It started as I went to bed with the sensor saying that I was moving into hypoglycemia, so I ate. It then just kept saying that I was low, so I ate more. But I didn’t feel low. Thanks to having my old sensor still active (from before I started Omnipod this week) on my other arm; comparing the old vs new sensor showed that the old was saying 10 mmol/L while the new was saying 2.8 mmol/L. So quite the difference and very misleading. A few minutes later the new sensor gradually came up to speed with the correct value but this whole thing of course resulted in getting a very high value, and that’s why the alarm has gone off the whole night. I’ve manually corrected either insulin, but since I’m (trying to be) asleep, I want to do it in a controlled manner.
Considering both of these issues has happened at night, are there any restrictions in terms of sleeping with the pod/sensor? Something that I’ve missed that I shouldn’t put them through in terms of force, weight or temperature? I have the sensor on the back of my upper arm and the pod on my ”love handle”, both on the left side off my body.

2025.01.21 04:22 Naive-Piccolo4553 Really REALLY need help not succumbing to overwhelming anxiety and fears regarding the “Return to work” mandate Trump signed today
IM ABSOLUTELY OUT OF MY MIND STRESSED OUT RN.
With Trump signing the return to work order for all federal employees this literally might devastate my husband’s and mines lives financially obviously but also health wise especially since we have healthcare through his job. My husband has Type 1 Diabetes and I have several chronic health issues too.
He works for FEMA and has since 2017. He’s honestly (and this isn’t bias I swear) one of THE hardest and most passionate workers I’ve ever known and he takes tremendous pride in his work and role. He goes above and beyond in every way to do his job and help applicants and in just too many ways to list here. We have excellent health insurance right now as well and it’s through his employment at FEMA. My husband also can’t drive, and we live 40 miles from the FEMA worksite meaning it would literally force him to quit as I don’t see any reality where it would work for him to either financially or logistically or mentally be onsite full time. We had been juggling a 2-day a week onsite requirement for a very very longtime and that was already EXTREMELY costly for us and very stressful for the both of us. He was literally approved for permanent remote work 2 weeks ago. It took about a year and a half since he applied for full time remote work it to be approved and it was one of the most exciting things that’s happened for us and more for him in so long and there was so much anxiety and stress that instantly melted away that day he received the email informing him of his fully remote work application being approved. I saw something briefly before the inauguration mentioning trumps desires to do a federal employee “return to work” order and I has been actively avoiding anything and all things Trump since the election and I guess I was so stressed about reading that and it being a possibility that I was in denial about it being possible.
It also just doesn’t make sense on the most fundamental and human levels for a person/administration to unilaterally overnight effectively end thousands and thousands of people’s livelihoods. I already assume everything Trump threatens to do that he WILL do it because if you don’t take that shit seriously you end up… well I guess where we are now. BUT this just seemed to me, to be something that no matter your political persuasion was just SO extreme and illogical of a threat that threatened a very large group of American federal employees that just seemed so across the board unpopular for anyone to actually follow through on. Like this time, this mandate isn’t just targeting/effecting only his typical “enemies” of choice or group of people that he always and reliably targeted…I understand one of his “enemies” of choice is the federal government itself and that this shouldn’t surprise me but effectively causing MASS layoffs/resignations of so many remote working federal employees with this mandate I don’t see how conservatives/Trump supporters aren’t already rioting about this because they such selfish people that this wold suddenly very directly impact them and I think their cognitive dissonance would finally run out of steam at least on that one specific issue. There is just no way a person’s obsession and blind following of Trump goes so far as to being okay with their OWN lives being likely financially devastated because they literally cannot come onsite because of all the plethora of reasons.
But I really need help not absolutely spiraling into a depression and just crying until we ultimately find out if this will truly be a reality for us and when or just what our future will be…I have very severe anxiety as just a baseline that is always present despite all my best efforts and medications. I was at a very much improved/okay place though before this I had been making a lot of progress this last year or year and a half with my mental health. But I’m trying everything I can do to calm down and not spiral but I can’t figure out how to think through this to get to a place where I will possibly be okay.
The 2-3 years before he started working for FEMA we had been really really struggling financially like to the point where my husband was having to ration his life saving/dependent insulin(s) to be able to stretch it as far as he could so we could try and go a little longer without having to pay $1200 on insulins. I never thought we’d face that reality ever ever again because he has such a great job at FEMA and we have excellent health insurance on top of him making really great income there as well. I have a good job too right now and we could technically fall back on my jobs health insurance would he to be forced to resign and subsequently lose our insurance but it’s not as great of coverage and we’d be for however long as it took him to find new employment on a single income. I can’t help but fear the worst and also I’m so afraid for his wellbeing not only physically like if he had any new or worsening health issues or complications but also mentally and emotionally. He also has anxiety and work anxiety/stability is a big stressor for him so I’m really worried what this might do to him in so many ways.
If anyone has any mental/emotional energy left from today/life to help me figure out how to find any optimism in the general future and in our specific futures, I’d be truly forever grateful for any and all insights and guidance you may have to share. ❤️

My AirPod case was lost a week ago and I recently got a new one. Whenever I connected my AirPods only one would work and it would take some time to connect the other one. I got tired of having to do this and people online said to forget it on my device and reconnect it. I did that but now whenever I push the button on the back it won't show up on my phone. Yes Bluetooth was on. Yes I've tried doing it plugged in. Yes I've turned my phone off and on again. help!
