2025.01.21 06:00 ADHD_confusion Erythrodermic Psoriasis Recovery
I (21F) posted here a while ago asking for advice on whether I had guttate psoriasis or not. Thank you to those that responded, it was indeed guttate psoriasis. Unfortunately it turned into Erythrodermic Psoriasis. The doctors here didnāt know what it was and recommended I go to Mass General. I got the help I needed, Iām still recovering. Iām very very happy itās clearing up though. However my grandmother told me I will have it for the rest of my life. (I donāt have a history of psoriasis personally but I have family that does, my grandfather and his niece.) I guess I just am curious if people have had this before, guttate psoriasis that turned into erythrodermic psoriasis? And if it did go away or if Iāll be struggling with this forever. The ER doctor didnāt say much, just that I should get a dermatologist. Is that their way of saying that itās only treatable and not curable? Pictures added for context of how bad it was and the last four pictures are how it looked 2 weeks ago.

Idk if this experience is universal but I've spoken to three men on different occasions for the purpose of marriage only to feel repulsed. I really don't know what I was expecting and If I should lower my standards. First guy I spoke to for marriage seemed really nice, I asked him if he had any addictions to which he decided not to reply and instead said that all men watch it. Next guy I spoke to straight up asked me to consider letting him get a second wife because he had too many desires and asked me If I could manage to fulfil him. Recently spoke to someone who claimed to be a man of substance yet his Instagram following had half naked women. Do men really have a hard time controlling their lust? Are there any men out there that abstain themselves from looking at other women's bodies? As a female, I feel uncomfortable looking at anyone that isn't dressed appropriately be it a man or a women but only because I practiced to not look. I try my best to lower my gaze eventhough there are attractive men around me because I want to feel fully attracted tk the guy I marry and not compare him to other men physically. I understand it's difficult for men but it's hurtful.

My housemate has made mention multiple times about how he loves buying ācheap disposable containersā at the store, saying that he likes how he can keep leftovers in them, then just toss them out after he finishes eating them. Iāve seen these ādisposableā containers when he throws them in the trash can. Theyāre plastic. Like, the Ziploc-style plastic food containers. The ones that people usually use, clean out, and reuse.
I kinda want to tell him that theyāre reusable, but I know itāll be pointless. Iāve tried correcting him on some things heās said before that I know for sure were wrong, and he got hostile with his responses. If I tell him that heās wasting money and just adding to the growing issue of plastic trash, heāll probably just snap that itās his money, so itās his choice what he buys. Plus, heās also said he doesnāt like to wash dishes, so it tracks heād rather throw them out.

It's ridiculous that we need to collect dye every hour and on or we will not be able to colorize our cosmetics. Not everyone is online 24/7 on sky. I love the concept of the season but not having the dye colors as a permanent color prop is absurd. On top of that, there is a limit for collecting dye unbelievable, having the color plants change locations every hour its itself crap. Going cr is hard and they want to make it even worse by making the players go hunt for hours to collect some dye color is unacceptable. I'll have to mod if it's necessary. Besides I found a way not to get banned, I don't want to mod man it gets tired. Please make the dye color jars as a permanent prop to use when ever we desire without the fear of losing amounts of color numbers!

My friend 39/f from high school came to visit me. Last time I was back in my home town she was not doing well. She was not speaking to her 2 other close friends or her close cousin and having issues coparenting with her sonās fathe ex-husband. Honestly, for reasons I felt she contributed to but she is very stubborn and acted like she was above reconciling with these people. I suggested she come visit me to do something fun and get her mind off things.
*Point 1: I noticed she was having lots of conflict with the people closest to her so I was genuinely trying to help.
Fast forward, she came out 6 months later and I planned a fun long weekend that included my friends on 2 of the 4 days.
Relevant later: At one point, she shared with me she has to take daily meds for her stomach before eating. She made a joke about it being a sign of getting old.
The next day we all went out and she had one drink and a 10mg edible early around 5pm. It was a day party that ended at 8:30pm. We (About 10 people) all went back to my friendās house and were there until 1am in the living room. At some point, she fell asleep on the couch and I was up talking to my ex who is still part of my close friend group. We were talking about things and potentially working things out. Around 1am, it was time to leave and I told him he could come back to my place.
Point 2: By the time we went to my place (1am) everyone had sobered up and she had even taken a nap. We werenāt drinking or taking edibles at the āafter partyā. We just ate pizza. Everyone was completely conscious of their environment.
So my ex, my friend and I went back to my place. She slept in my bed and I slept on the couch with my ex. The way my couch pulls out he was against the wall. In the morning, she pulled me aside. She said when she went to the bathroom she had ācum coming out her anusā and that she needed to go to the doctor. She started asking me if I knew my āexās timelineā.
I told her, yea we came back last night and everyone went to bed. We were on the couch, she was in my bed by herself, just as she remembered. It was such a confusing situation for me cause I know he didnāt do anything to her but she was acting super sketched out towards him and saying she needed to go to the hospital.
Point 3: He would have had to jump over me, undressed her, assaulted her, put her clothes back on, jumped back over me to get back on the couch and NO ONE felt or saw anything, including her.
I gave her a ride to the hospital. I was honestly so flabbergasted by the situation. In the waiting room, she started asking me weird questions about the edible I gave her. Implying that I drugged her. I told her she took 10mg at 5pm and at 1am she was 100% sober. If ANYONE did anything to her she would have been conscious of it. I asked her if it could be related to the gastrointestinal meds she takes. She was ADAMANT that it was cum from her anus. She then casually revealed that she might be a hypochondriac thatās why she wonāt officially get a divorce cause sheāll lose her health insurance. Iām sitting there thinking āwtf is happening, is she actually crazy?ā
It was going to be a few hours so I made an excuse to leave. Told her I could pick her up cause I wouldnāt be able to go in with her anyway. My mind was spinning and IF anything did happen to her then it would be revealed by a medical exam. She hadnāt showered that morning, so it would be conclusive.
For context, my ex and I are not back together for other reasons but heās a very kind person and I couldnāt tell him what was going on cause of how it would make him feel. I just told him she had a medical condition and needed to be seen. He was empathetic and concerned but respected that it was a private medical matter.
Basically she was fine. She told me she took a self administered swab sample at the hospital and she didnāt ālet themā do a physical exam. She said something to the effect āI guess weāll see once the results come backā š¤¦š»āāļøš
The next day, I took her to lunch and tried to have a mature conversation about what transpired but it resulted in an argument. She said I should have āconsulted with herā before inviting anyone over to MY place cause sheās my guest. That made no sense to me. I tried to explain to her that I have no problem taking her to get medical attention but I canāt cater to this crazy narrative she made up. She said I was picking my ex over her and Iāve known her for over 20 years. I told her Iām not picking anyone, cause no one did anything to her. I tried my best to tell her in a kind way that she needs help. She said she IS in therapy.
After lunch, it was so awkward between us. I was shutdown and avoiding her at that point cause I had enough by then. For example, when I asked her what happened at the hospital her reply was āOh Iām surprised youāre asking, cause I didnāt think you caredā.
She left my place that night on her own accord. I think she stayed at a hotel for 1 day and just did tourist activities by herself until her flight. I tried to send her a voice message. I recorded it several times so that it didnāt sound confrontational but she blocked me. I felt so conflicted cause at the end of the day she did travel out to see me. Before her flight, she unblocked me and sent me more passive aggressive communication: (copied and pasted)
āGood morning. Iām heading back today. I truly enjoyed my time in XX. Thanks again for your hospitality.
Bummer that we didnāt seem to see eye to eye on something.

I never replied and havenāt seen her since. I truly believe she is mentally unstable. I am genuinely hurt she doesnāt think she did anything wrong AND she told me I was a bad host to her. My ex is still someone I love and she seems to have no regard for that. As if, Iām supposed to automatically choose her just because sheās been my friend longer even if sheās wrong.
Itās been 3 months now & Iām conflicted if we should try to resolve things after such a long friendship. However, this would require me to reach out to her cause sheās very stubborn. Not to mention she never acknowledged he didnāt do anything to her. As if she still wanted to believe this narrative even after going to the hospital. This would be the only big conflict weāve had in our 20 year friendship but Iām also not sure Iām dealing with the same person Iāve known from childhood.

Hi everyone! My husband and I are preparing to move into a basement apartment tomorrow, and I wanted to ask your advive on how to make it feel like a happy living space.
We are super poor, hence the basement apartment, and I already feel depressed knowing how small the windows are and how low the ceiling sits. I need any and all advice on decorating (please keep tips low budget, and we are sadly not allowed to paint or permanently change things), your tips for somehow making the noises less noticeable from the people walking above us, etc. I am trying to make the most of this situation and want to make it a nice, happy space for us, but feel stressed thinking about how I could make it a place I would actually want to reside in. Unfortunately finding another place isn't an option, as this is the only one within our budget. Would especially to hear tips from those of you who have been in a similar situation!
