When I was asleep a few minutes ago, I had a horror like dream relating to Frieren.
It was in a factory, and we were duking it out in combat, she was firing spells at me and summoning of monsters and rusted barbed wire beneath my feet.
Mid battle I was given a prompt by Frieren, she stopped her actions and gave me a choice, it gave the gist I could stop the battle, or at least stop one of her plays (monsters, spells, or the rising barbed wire), it was like an offer, a timed one with a screen I could reply ti via word of mouth, but this deranged looking Frieren.
I choose the rusted barbed wires, I don’t remember exactly what I said, but I remember the way she accepted by request. The battle ended, she stopped trying to kill me, but now, because of how I worded it, barbed wire constantly rose at the site of my feet, piercing through my shoes I ran, but it kept rising from the but below, rusted barbed wire after barbed wire, it hurt like hell but I had to keep running.
I begged her for help, but she thew me a half eaten orange with a text on its underside, it had some legal bullshit, which pointed to her not helping me.
But she gave me advice on how to prevent it, by standing on stone, barbed wire can’t rise through the mud or dirt beneath me, so I stood on those marble like floors in clothing stores, and I finally had relief.
I went up a stair case, and the barbed wire started spawning inside the clothing stores staircase and broke it, I fell down from it, and the marble floors started cracking beneath me, the barbed wire was spawning from the ground and putting pressure on the marble slabs, and it was happening fast, I kept hopping from slab to slab, marble kept cracking, and I was on my final few slabs, I didn’t want to have my feet cut again, I was panicking.
And then I woke up.
Scary dream man.

Hey all, a friend that used to play in high school invited me out to play tennis for my first time today, I absolutely loved it. We played at a public walk-up court. I’m hoping to make this a regular thing (and potentially looking into beginner lessons).
Can someone help advise on court etiquette?
- If I need to cross a court to get to one beyond, should I wait until the people playing have a break in their game? Should I cut across the court or walk around behind it?
- For first-come/walk-up courts, is it rude to ask how much longer players plan to use a court?
- If I’m a beginner and inevitably hit a lot of balls into other courts (🙃), anything I should know re: timing to collect the ball back? Obviously, I don’t want to interrupt anyone else’s game if not necessary.
- Anything else you can think of that I should be aware of?

2025.01.21 07:26 Big_Drama_2624 I’m a grown adult but get constantly mistaken for a child due to slow aging
I’m 25f. Most people wouldn’t know that unless I tell them. At first glance I look roughly 12-18 years old according to some people. I get called “baby, sweet girl, honey, ect” by complete strangers using a tone as if they were speaking to an actual child.
But it gets worse.
I have had children repeatedly asking me to come play with them, and LITTLE BOYS TRYING TO HIT ON ME, INCLUDING MY NEIGHBORS SON’S COUSIN. I always tell them my age right off the bat and it usually gets them to leave me alone. I would never ever lie to a child about my age.
But because this keeps happening over and over I’ve gotten to the point where I hate leaving my house unless I absolutely have to. I used to enjoy being outside and taking walks around the neighborhood but I stopped doing that because of the kids that live in the same area.
These children are 7-14 years old and know exactly how old I am but they don’t care. In their mind because I look like a child I blend in. They would follow me around and just wouldn’t take no for an answer. Their parents know how old I am but they don’t care either. While I love kids, where I live it is considered HIGHLY inappropriate for an adult to be playing with a child unless they actually know them well enough (family wise, family friend wise) and there’s not way in hell would I ever risk my reputation. I know none of these children personally and it’s the same the other way around
I’m frustrated and tired of this. It’s no one’s fault that they assume I’m a child based on looks but I’m just so tired of it

So I just completed the "good" ending and I am tremendously pleased with the game. The joy at figuring out puzzles when I thought I was hopelessly stuck is unlikely to be topped by any other puzzle game.

The pearl on top of the bezel of my ZF BB54 is missing. I just noticed recently. I was suggested to buy a new one from AliExpress but I’m very unsure whether they would fit. They seem too big. On my watch, it is just the pearl itself that is missing, the metal insert is still attached to the bezel.

Hi Guys!
I’m after building a little dedicated m-itx build to mainly run Arma 3 + a few Headless Clients for a few friends (it will do other things too but that’s the main reason). ArmA is single core heavy if anyone is unfamiliar
I’m trying to maintain a reasonable budget and have been trying to research into a decent cpu. I seem to keep ending up at the R5 5600GT apu for ~£120. Enough cores, decent single core performance and iGPU so no need for a discrete - it will be a gui OS either Linux or windows, probs windows for ease.
Recommendations for a cpu (Intel or AMD) and some advice into something I may have overlooked would be appreciated. Second hand is fine too (in the UK for locale). AM5 would obviously be nice for any future upgrade but it’s probably pushing the budget too far. All in (no PSU) I don’t really want to exceed £350 but will stretch if I can justify it
I’m not new to computing, hardware or building - but servers have never been more than hosting on my main pc and it’s time it got offloaded elsewhere.

Here is what the person was looking for: “Sheriff Stilinski becomes an alpha werewolf and in control of the beacon hills pack. However he was not the best father to stiles and stiles cant forgive him so he doesn't join the pack while when his friends do he doesnt judge them for it because sheriff stilinski is a good alpha to the pack.” I have tried to find a story that has matched this description. It sounds like it may contain these types of tags. Bad parent sheriff Stilinski. It is probably tagged with all the early teen wolf characters from season 1 or 2. I am sorry I can not be of more descriptive but I have never read this story nor able to find it. Any help would be appreciated.
