Just walk past my old secondary school. Saw a group if NCC cadet siao on shouting loudly while marching.
Makes me remember my days of secondary school. Joining NCC was the worst decision of my life.
Wake up every saturday at 6am to go get screwed, voluntarily go to part A B C camp to get screwed. For what? Just to do the same 2years later in NS.
All the “pride” and “discipline” is just horseshit motivation. I learn nothing, gain nothing, had no experience, and get the same experience in NS 2years later.
Should have join something like basketball or soccer, or play volleyball with xiao mei mei or learn life skills like be in band or something.
The most memorable thing i did in NCC that is worth it, is to climb mount ophir. But it sucks too cause it rain through my climb and have to sleep in mud and drink river water fill of tourist’s shit up stream.
Would you let your teenage kid join uniform group when they enter secondary school?

Hello, I'm a korean student highly interested in bachelor's program(mechanical engineering) in ETHZ
I understand that there's some prerequisites required and found 'Upper secondary school-leaving certificate + certificate of university admission in the desired academic subject provided by a recognised Sout Korean university' are required for me,, but the problem is, as you know males here have duty for mandatory military service(1.5 years) and it has to be served before applying.(or else it could be too late)
So my question is: Is it okay to submit the university certificate that is 1.5 years prior to application? Or am I only allowed for the certification of corresponding year??
- I can't afford having another admission certificate after the military service since korean university entrance exam(pretty hard) has to be done once more to do so.

We got a male Samoyed two months ago, and he’s already the love of our lives rn.
Now my aunt (pls lets call her witch) is coming over to London for some work and she’ll be staying at our place. She’s fucking disgusted with Brandon (my dog) and believes dogs with thick fur like Samoyeds are unhealthy to be around, cos shedding and dander trigger allergies and cause problems with breathing, and thick coats attract dust which is gross. She won’t even come near him cos she’s convinced it’s bad for her health.
My mom tried to talk me into sending Brandon to my friends’ or a kennel for the week. But he hasn’t developed survival skills yet, and i can’t trust anyone that much. Also i low-key DON’T WANT TO
So i texted my aunt with the best intention to check, if she can book herself in a hotel or an Airbnb, given her discomfort. That lady made such a huge deal out of it, calling my mum and saying i should have better manners.
Mum’s been hounding me since. My nana who’s at our place rn, chimed in and asked my mum to shut up and back off (i just love her)
But now I’m torn. AITA for not sending JD away and asking my aunt to make separate living arrangements?

Playing a new game on the Fallout 1 in 2 mod and this quest won't trigger for me, maybe because my character is only charisma 2? I have talked to all three of the people supposed to trigger it but they don't mention the thief so it doesn't show in the pip boy. I have waited until midnight but the thief doesn't show. I have attempted this both before and after doing the Calm the Rebel Faction quest. I have not found the water chip yet. Any ideas?

This year when i applied to uni i had only processed that i had failed a module and the seriousness of it. Due to failing the module i am unable to do 2 other modules which is going to extend my degree by a year and i feel so disheartened. The reason i failed was due to not making use of all my available resources and going for consults as well as not being able to go to all my classes due to transportation issues. Now i’m planning to ensure that i attend consults even when i can’t go to classes and doing my assignments to the best of my ability to make sure i pass but i can’t help but feel discouraged even when im reassuring myself that this is an opportunity to do better.
I also know that i might struggle to get financing this year and im unsure what to do
