I’m in a peculiar situation and need help responding to it. So I clean at a private elementary school and also clean private homes on the side. The principle of the school I work for sold her home and asked me if I do the final clean for her. So I did and three weeks after the new home owners move in I get this text from her yesterday. Everything she is accusing me of I did not do. If she were just a private client I would know better how to respond, but she’s also my boss at a job I love very much (and need) so don’t want to jeopardize it. Basically she’s accusing me of emptying the contents of the vacuum cleaner into the toilet, flushing plastic gloves and wipes down the toilet, causing it to back up. I assure you I did none of these things. (And after working for her at the school for 3 years, she should know better than this). She sent me this message almost 24 hrs ago and I still haven’t responded because I don’t know what to say to her. Please help me come up with an appropriate response. I want to remedy this situation without admitting doing something I did not do. Thank you in advance. I am sick over this

Last month I had pregnancy symptoms and started spotting, I consulted a ob-gyn, medical tests and an ultrasound were done, however the Dr said everything was fine and it was just a hormonal issue. 2 days ago I started experiencing heavy cramping pain, hours later I passed out some blood clots and a clear jelly like tissue with blood clots (about 3cm in length). I'm no sure what it is. I'm also feeling very drowsy and weak after that. Should I see a doctor? PS- I'm also taking low dose oral contraceptives since last month

Hi all,
I just need to rant as the estate agent threw me off edge. I’m buying a property and instructed a level 3 buildings survey. Prior to this I have completed a structural survey for mortgage purposes and everything was fine.
I emailed the estate agents so they’re aware they'll receive a phone call from surveyor. I then recieved an email update from surveyor about a booking attempt saying they haven't managed to confirm an appointment yet. The estate agent then called me and became argumentative, saying the sellers would be confused about why I’m having it done since both an in-person mortgage valuation and a structural survey have already been completed. I was baffled and explained that it’s crucial to get a comprehensive Level 2 or Level 3 survey done on the whole property assessing different things, it’s just common sense right? Sure, I’m an FTB, but am I missing something here? She said she’d need to inform the vendors and get back to me. Honestly, I’m completely baffled by her reaction and I couldn’t even explain my points properly to her because of how shocked I was. I just need reassurance that I’m not going mad. Im now worrying whether sellers won't allow this to happen and everything going downhill. My solicitor has already ordered searches and raised enquires so we are moving along. Any advice or reassurance would be appreciated.

I am suffering from tinnitus from 2022 after a major depressing event. It got better when I used some medicines for 6 months in 2022 but since it was high dose, doctor advised me to stop taking these. After that I didn't notice T that much as it was not buzzing that much. Now from the past 5 months, it's again bothering me alot and considering there is no permanent fix for it, a thought came to my mind that now when I get married and have kids, they will have it as well since I heard T continues in the next generations once someone is diagnosed with it. Is this true/ thoughts on this?

So right now we pay 1845 a month for rent. There are no other cheaper apartments in are area that are in a safe neighborhood. We have about 13k in credit card debt and about 28k in student loans. We make 135k after taxes. The apartment we want to buy is only $69,000 and it will only be $800 a month on a 15 year mortgage. Should we buy the apartment and the $1000 dollars we save would go to paying off student loans and credit cards faster plus build equity faster? Or just wait until everything paid off? We have 6 months of emergency fund already saved.

I worked for Elton John and Bernie Taupin 1973/74/75 in the UK, then joined Chrysalis Music Ltd as a Professional Manager, then promoted to General Manager. Was moved to Los Angeles, where I established The Chrysalis Music Group USA. I believe that I was in the USA when I first set up a site on Facebook. And I discovered that they used my site to market Facebook. In June of 2024, I was prevented of accessing Facebook from my MacBook Air, however, could still access it from my iPhone. Then the latter was stopped. I have received no response that makes any sense from Meta. Yesterday, meta contacted me and accused me of violating their advertising standards, Why on earth would I advertise on a site that doesn't allow me access. Two companies have offered to try and retrieve my account, however, I don't think that it is worth £140 to do so. Ann P Munday
