So right now we pay 1845 a month for rent. There are no other cheaper apartments in are area that are in a safe neighborhood. We have about 13k in credit card debt and about 28k in student loans. We make 135k after taxes. The apartment we want to buy is only $69,000 and it will only be $800 a month on a 15 year mortgage. Should we buy the apartment and the $1000 dollars we save would go to paying off student loans and credit cards faster plus build equity faster? Or just wait until everything paid off? We have 6 months of emergency fund already saved.

I have had a site on Facebook for around 20+ years. I used to work in the music business and was pretty successful. I worked for Elton John and Bernie Taupin 1973/74/75 in the UK, then joined Chrysalis Music Ltd as a Professional Manager, then promoted to General Manager. Was moved to Los Angeles, where I established The Chrysalis Music Group USA. I believe that I was in the USA when I first set up a site on Facebook. And I discovered that they used my site to market Facebook. In June of 2024, I was prevented of accessing Facebook from my MacBook Air, however, could still access it from my iPhone. Then the latter was stopped. I have received no response that makes any sense from Meta. Yesterday, meta contacted me and accused me of violating their advertising standards, Why on earth would I advertise on a site that doesn't allow me access. Two companies have offered to try and retrieve my account, however, I don't think that it is worth £140 to do so. Ann P Munday

My ex broke up with me two weeks ago after we had a fight. I packed a few things and went to stay with my family (I thought giving him space for a few days would help). The very next day, he made an impulsive decision to go abroad to stay with his family and friends, saying he needed time to think about us. He said he’d meet me when he got back.
In the meantime, I went to our apartment to pick up a few things, only to find that all of my belongings had already been packed 🤦🏻. I tried calling and texting him, took full accountability for my mistakes, and even left a nice surprise for him to find when he returned. But he insisted he needed space.
Yesterday, I reached out to him again, and he told me he doesn’t want a relationship right now. He said he needs to prioritize his work, thinks we’re not compatible, and maybe he’ll change his mind and meet me sometime in February. He told me he still loves me and finds me attractive, but he doesn’t want to see me for now. Then he added, ‘Maybe that will change.’
It’s so frustrating—we’ve been together for 2.5 years. It feels like he’s keeping me as a backup or doesn’t know how to properly end things. Every time he says he’s done with me, he adds, ‘That’s how I feel for now. Maybe I’ll change my mind, but right now I need to heal.’ It’s like he’s leaving the door half-open, and it’s so confusing.
