I’m so tired of everything. I can’t even remember the last time I had a genuinely good day. Some of this is my fault, but most of it feels like it’s just me. I have mild Asperger’s, and while I don’t have any big sensory issues, the social side of things is unbearable. My body language is off, my movements are weird, I can’t hold a conversation, and I have zero charisma. I can’t even fake it. I don’t read situations well, I can’t act natural, and on top of all that, I have no confidence. People seem to just inherently dislike me.
At school, I have one close friend I stick to. Without him, I’d barely speak to anyone. He’s doing great—always talking to new people, messaging them, sending photos. Meanwhile, I barely have anyone to message, and the few I do end up ghosting me. It’s not like he has any more chances to meet people than I do, but he connects with them so easily, while I just can’t. I know this stuff shouldn’t matter, but it eats at me. If someone follows me, it makes my day, but more often someone ignores my message, and it ruins me.
This lack of confidence just spirals. Half my classes, I sit in silence because I have no friends there. In others, I might talk to a few people, but it’s shallow. Then there’s one class where my friend is, but even then, I feel like the odd one out. He has good friends everywhere. I try to join conversations, but it’s awkward. It feels like people are just tolerating me. I don’t walk or talk with anyone besides him—what would I even say?
It’s not just him—it’s everyone. People barely acknowledge me unless I’m with him. It’s like I don’t exist otherwise. I don’t know why. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. But this lack of connection is suffocating.
It really hit me when I had a girl interested in me once. We messaged for a few weeks, but it fizzled out because I couldn’t talk to her at school. I didn’t have other friends or any confidence, so it all just fell apart. Since then, I’ve realized how deep my problems run.
I’m stuck in this limbo. Everyone else seems to have some kind of anchor—confidence, friends, something that gets them through the day. But not me. I feel like no one really cares about me, and I don’t know how to fix it. Deep down, all I want is to be confident and likable. I don’t want to believe that’s out of reach.

please bare with me here this is a long one and so many details involved. all names changed for privacy reasons. I am fully aware i’m equally to blame and deserve the embarrassment of having to tell the truth as well as I deserve the guilt and shame that comes along with it all. I just genuinely want to hear opinions from every person possible before I make an even bigger mistake by going about this situation wrong.
I am currently (or was until I realized what actually was going on) aiding a man in cheating on his long term partner. we’ll call him jon. jon and I have worked together on and off for over 2 years now. when we first met we both were in committed relationships and had a professional work related only relationship. down the road a little I left my previous unhealthy relationship (so did jon at some point, we were not close at the time so I didn’t have any details at all) we had the smallest little fling after we realized we were single (flirty messages, messing around at work etc etc) we fizzled out because I wanted to heal and learn how to be a better person after my previous relationship. i worked on myself and went to therapy etc and about 8-10 months after my break up I was under the impression still that jon was single and so was I. I approached and briefly brought up our previous fling made a couple jokes. this is the moment where I am the shitty human and deserve my bad karma, embarrassment, shame everything. jon had engaged back with me acknowledged what I said even made a couple flirty jokes back but then followed it up with the “I have a girlfriend” (we’ll call her jane) I immediately returned with “I apologize I didn’t mean any disrespect” and went about my day. should I have removed him off of everything maybe even blocked him? yes I should’ve and I regret not doing that it was incredibly selfish and wrong of me to even leave the door for communication open. it was not my intention I took the “I have a girlfriend” as rejection and left it at that. fast forward a few days after that and jon has since been engaging in conversations with me. we now work together again and are constantly with one another on shift playing around etc etc. conversations slowly turn into serious in depth discussions about how he’s unhappy and has one foot out the door and has been working on finding the courage to admit he’s unhappy and wants to leave etc etc. should I have ever lent jon a shoulder to cry on knowing the circumstances? no I shouldn’t have and I was wrong for that but I did because I genuinely cared. it was not a ploy to get in his pants or be his girlfriend. I had just went through the same exact thing months prior and thought I was giving good support to someone I truly considered to be a friend. it escalated and there came a point where I was under the impression he told her everything and they were no longer going to be together. (silly me believing whatever is said to me that is literally my fault and I AGAIN am not trying to play victim i’m just as much of a loser as him in this situation) this whole situation has been going on for over a year since that moment and just TODAY I realized that he actually has made no efforts in leaving jane and has also been lying to her for the past year as well. I confronted him about it and basically what I got as a response was “i’m such a shitty man I know” “I never should’ve let it go this far” “it’s all my fault” “you have every right to hate me”. I never thought to actually DEEP dive into the validity of his claims on their relationship because he was spending time with me constantly. constantly texting calling etc. I have receipts for everything every time we texted called hung out ALL of it. jon and I NEVER kissed, we did not have sex, but the things we did engage in I 100000% consider cheating knowing now that jane was around the whole time despite me being under the impression she was not. I currently have jon blocked on everything. down to fucking GMAIL I have him blocked. I don’t care to hear what he has to say for himself. i’m hurt for my own self, i’m hurt for jane, im insanely guilty and feel equally responsible for her pain and discomfort to come in this situation and am willing to accept the consequences of my actions at the end of the day. would I be the asshole if I approached jane and exposed jon for his cheating (and my aiding in it basically.) is it even worth it? am I the only girl he’s done this with/to? do I sound bitter by just randomly dropping the bomb a year later? (in my pathetic defense I am easily persuaded and genuinely trusted this persons word even though I shouldn’t have) I fear so badly coming off bitter or like i’m angry I didn’t get “picked” but it truly is not like that to me. I don’t want to be picked by a cheater, by a liar. I want nothing to do with him. I just feel so stupid and so guilty for this whole situation and don’t know what to do anymore. I have to see him at work damn near everyday and I have no one to blame but myself and I understand that. I am just looking for some genuine advice preferably from adults with experience in something like this. (i’m 23, jon is 23 about to be 24, im unsure of anything regarding jane besides her actual name and face)

Does this mean that those who build these items in this slot end up winning 60% of the time?
