I (M25) matched with this girl (F 24) on hinge. I loved how down to earth her prompts on her profile were, along with how gorgeous she looked. That is what I basically told her in my first message. She replied thanking me and telling me how she finds me rather handsome.
We then hit it off pretty good. She mentioned how she loved Hans Zimmer and I was able to quickly ask her if she wanted to see interstellar with me in the cinema in about two weeks time. She thought the way I asked her out was smooth and said she would like that.
This is probably my fault but for the next two weeks leading up to the date me and her talked alot and i started to really really like her. She would message me every morning unprompted wishing me a good morning. She would make sure that i kept revising for my med school exams. She would compliment me. Saying stuff how she liked how my beard looks and how she wants to play with my hair. I was playful with her and would compliment her and she would say that I am such a charmer. She would call me handsome, smooth and was enthusiastic whenever we would talk. She would wish me goodnight and even would send heart emojis and stuff. She would say stuff like "I am blushing right now" in response to something witty I would say. She would send multiple texts in a row. Every message just seemed so sweet and warm and I really thought she liked me.
Day of the date and I am just blown away by how unbelievably gorgeous she is in real life. I gave her a rose and she called me sweet. We go to a cafe and sit with eachother. We share our interests and hobbies. We both lean into her phone as she shows me stuff that she gets up to in her life. I compliment her saying she's beautiful and she giggles calling me handsome. We jokes, we laugh and she even freestyle raps for me which was really impressive.
We then went to see the movie, Interstellar. It is such an important movie to me personally, and I loved how into the movie she seemed and was amazed when it ended. I will say this, though: Up until this point, I hadn't really broken the touch barrier apart from when we hugged when we saw each other. For example, during the movie, I didn't do anything apart from holding the popcorn for her, lol.
Anyways we then went to get dessert. She had to go to the bathroom first and when she came back to the table she consciously decided to sit next to me instead of across from me. There was also a rose on the table and i playfully/cheekily slid it to her side whuch made her giggle and call me smooth. We then again laughed, joked. She was leaning in and contributed so much to the conversation. Also i have to say i was quite suprising at her effort of actively trying to make me laugh with her jokes I don't think ive ever had first dates with that sort of effort from the girl.
Here is the only part of the date which I genuinely felt was abit awkward. She brought up her mental health and was telling me how she has had issues with anger management in the past which her friends noticed and made her try to take accountability. She also vaguely talked about feelings of guilt she's had in the last few years and how she's a different person now. I am not sure how well I responded because I have a history of being emotionally abused by people with mental health issues like BPD so there was a moment of awkward silence. I tried comforting her saying how she shouldn't be ashamed of wanting to talk about things like this and that she shouldn't feel so guilty because its her first time living life. It was only in those moments where I noticed a change in her body language as she seemed abit embarassed or upset?
Date is about to come to an end. She had a therapy session booked in 2 hours time so i offered to escort her part way. On the way we were still really comfortable, joking and just taking it easy with eachother. When we parted ways I asked for her phone number and she gave it to me.
In my head I was ecstatic. I thought the date went really well and was looking so foward to what me and her could potentially build. I was so sure that she liked me. I know I am such an idiot for feeling this way so please don't rub it in.
Next morning I get a text from her. She tells me after some reflection she doesn't feel the romantic spark with me. She tells me how she just wasn't feeling it during the date and how she thinks of me more as a friend. She said we had a great connection but didn't feel the chemistry. When she was telling me all this the tone of her texts seemed distant and corporate.
Its been a week and ive been in denial of what just fucking happened but I think I am starting to slowly accept that she just didn't feel anything. Its just so weird because her behavior and demeanour during the date was consistent atleast to me with how we were talking on hinge for the 2 weeks prior.
I guess I just want to know......why? I know stuff like not feeling it is normal. i guess i can't reconcile that with how apparently into me she was pre date. If the date was such a dealbreaker wouldn't I have noticed something was off?

I'm not sure what else to try or do... I bought my son this GPU for Christmas... Computer was fine, and then all of a sudden last weekend, it started doing these hard crashes. The computer crashes so hard it completely freezes, I can't do anything but force a shutdown. No mouse, the screen is completely froze... I can't control alt delete.. I have to force a shutdown, and then it'll boot up like everything is fine. The game that makes it hard crash consistently is Overwatch. He's been playing Valorant, Minecraft and I think Fornite without crashes...
I've tried completely uninstalling everything, and everything Nvidia then reinstalling drivers. I've also tried uninstalling / reinstalling Overwatch. Nvidia control panel settings are everything default except " Prefer Maximum Power"
Any ideas on what to do to fix this issue?

So last Thursday morning, I got a random connection request which of course I accepted, because… networking, right?
Now, that same Thursday afternoon, I got this huge ass message
Something about some crazy superstar senior designer wanting to get hired…
They're the kind of “GAME-CHANGER” companies are fighting for! (👀tfff… yeah right)
Come Friday morning, I get back onto linkedIn and the same lady sends me one of the worst follow ups I've ever seen in my life, with an opening that starts…
"Hope your day is going as smoothly as a well-executed user flow! 🎨"
Like who tf talks like this?
So I simply replied “man pls shush”...
Now before anyone roasts me for this, I was feeling a bit sassy so that's why i went with that.
But then this guy decide to get to me with a whole ass essay about "valuing my time" and "taking a more considerate approach"
And that’s when it clicked— I'm talking to AI.
This is literally what LinkedIn has now become: An AI networking platform.
With AI talking and making deals with other AI…
Bots apologizing to bots…
And no real people actually reading or interacting with one another.
It’s absolute insanity.
And to think that companies are out here spending thousands of dollars on AI tools that are basically just spam machines with better grammar…
Thinking that they’re “scaling their efforts” when THIS is the quality we’ve got.
Imo, linkedin might honestly be dead at this point, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ve moved away from it… UNLESS we got a huge course correct.
Now if you’re someone using AI for linkedin. This is probably what your "optimized outreach" looks like to your prospects.

The Notre Dame team impressed the hell out of me in the national championship game. As an Ohio State fan, I know just how easy it is for a team down by over three TDs in the 2nd half to just play out the game. When Notre Dame was down 31-7, they came out fighting. Their comeback and the fact that they legitimately had a chance in the 4th quarter is a testament to what they have.
I think this isn't the best team Notre Dame will have under Marcus Freeman. They had a lot of injuries. They have recruited well under Freeman and they have a lot of young talent. They will be back, and likely even better.

2025.01.21 13:40 Ascendantgame PING system has had an update (V1!)
Please note: we made the temporary icons so apologies for them being rubbish for now!
Previously pings were tinted the color of the player who did them. In the interest of simplicity, less rainbow HUD and this not seeming common in other games, I've opted to tint them using the friend/enemy colors (Enemy ping vs other pings) for consistency and customization. New system at a high level:
- Pings now animate in (VERY fast) but hopefully better than an image popping on screen before
- Pings show distance to the opposite side of the screen, to move the detail away from the crosshair area. This has a "deadzone" to prevent it flip-flopping if the player is near the center of the screen
- If a ping has finished arriving, is off screen, or more than 15m (happy to see what people think we should set this to!) it'll shrink to tidy up on the HUD
- As pings can now shrink, they can also expand if a player chooses to look at it. Doing so also raises the ping so it shouldn't interfere with the thing being pinged (so shouldn't cover up PvP targets for example)
- Ping responses should now show underneath the distance line, resulting in it being a bit tidier.

So i started TRT about 8-9 months ago, my level was at 284. The experience has been great on it, and i didn’t know how much I was suffering before it started kicking in.
Fast forward and my wife and I are trying to get pregnant. My cousin, who had been on TRT for 3 years, says to do HCG, he had also tried Clomid but said it made him feel awful for 6 months. My doctor just prescribed clomid, but I had already ordered HCG a few days ago.
Just looking for some opinions on if my doctor was foolish to do this, even though i mentioned we wanted to get pregnant 6-8 months after my initial TRT date, and also your experiences with HCG/clomid.

I keep reading here that NIL and transfer portal will prevent dynasties. On what basis? What if a school pays 25 million every year? Let’s use OSU for example. Say they spend 30 mil a year for transfers and recruits. What stops them from winning almost every year? You could argue you don’t even have to have a top coach if your roster is stacked and could destroy every team on talent alone. A school like SMU fends no better in this era than the old one. The only programs that have any chance will be ones with billionaires, major corporate backing, etc in their pockets. So where does this idea that dynasties aren’t possible come from? I would argue is actually more possible to build a dynasty now simply by greatly outspending everyone.

Mich hat es letztes Jahr wie viele andere auch am Schotterparkplatz ohne Parkschein auf der Sophienalpe erwischt. Es war nachts, ich hab das Schild nicht gesehen, wir wollten die Nordlichter sehen, die gabs natürlich nicht. Der Spaß hat mich 425€ gekostet und ich hab das eigentlich schon wieder verdrängt.
Nur jetzt hab ich nochmal eine Rechnung bekommen in Höhe von 156€ für die Detektei, welche das Auto damals aufgenommen hat.
"...hinzukommend hat Ihr Verhalten die folgenden, von Ihnen als Fahrzeughalter zu ersetzenden Kosten und Barauslagen unseres Einschreitens in Höhe von €156,00 bei unserem Unternehmen verursacht"
Mit dem Bearbeitungsgebühren für das Carsharing hat mich der Abend also 611€ gekostet. Ich bin nicht Rechtschutzversichert, also zahlt es sich vermutlich nicht aus dagegen vorzugehen.
Sollte ich das eurer Meinung nach noch irgendwo melden oder mich dagegen wehren?

When I was age 5 yrs old my mom was suffering from undiagnosed ptsd and and very very early on set of schizophrenia (she just would pace and stare in oblivion and talk to her self for like a hour and then go back to normal.) nobody knew literally because how normal she was outside of the little things like I mentioned but when I was 5 my little sis was born and my mom started acting strange and being more hard on me and then just randomly one day I had got out the shower naked and walked into the room to change my clothes and my sister was laying on the bed so I went into the closet to change but my mom walked into the room and saw I was in the closet changing my clothes and took it as something else and started saying I touched my sister ..imagine that?? A 5yr old being accused with no evidence… she spread across the whole family and our faith leaders and destroyed my reputation and then cherry on top she asked a legit 2 yr (with no context or example) she asked “has your brother touched you?” Duhhhh of course the 2 year old gone say “yes” without giving her any context on what your talking about of course she gone say “yes” she probably thinking has my brother like grabbed me or touched me just in general non-sexually. My mom took that and ran with it and destroyed my reputation and it followed me all the way into my high teens. I wasn’t exonerated from the lie until my mom had her break down mentally and got diagnosed with schizophrenia and my sister after getting context finally told the truth and said it was lie.

Hi Group - Me and my wife are building our first semi custom home with David Weekley homes in the Austin Area (dripping springs headwaters). We are going to the design center soon, but I want to make sure the bones of the house are built correctly and we have hte most comfortable house possible. Any help with the questions below would be greatly appreciated!
- The house is built with 2x6 walls, and the home builder is advising the standard r19 batt insulation is sufficient and very energy efficient. I asked for upgrade options here and they said they could custom price out R22 Bibs insulation. Is this worth the money?
- Any other things for upgraded insulation/comfortability you would add?
- As far as the bones go for the house, what would you recommend? I was going to add additional outlets all over the house, extra water faucets outside, upgrade to tankless water heater, etc.
