Hi! I just started pristiq 25 mg Saturday morning- 8 am. I was soo exhausted I had to take a nap by 1 and slept for a couple hours. Sunday I didn’t nap, but went to bed at 7 pm, and Monday- I had another nap! I am grateful I could nap, I usually can’t do that because of my thoughts thinking I’m “gonna miss something in the day” - but that was the weekend , I start my week again today and don’t know if I should tough out the fatigue, or if I should take it at night before bed. I feel like with my mind as soon as I take it at night , I’ll feel awake from it!
This is my first SNRI- I’ve been on Zoloft, lexapro, Wellbutrin, and lamictal for a little (no bi polar diagnosis). I got on pristiq because of ANXIETY not depression… but because of my aversion to the other SSRIs, we thought to try this. Lastly, something to mention is I am an avid 🍃 user. I have been trying to stop for awhile , and I read a couple things on here that now they get anxiety with smoking weed. Not sure if anyone can help with their experience !
Today I have my first day of classes and some work, I am going to take it in the AM like prescribed but if I get exhausted like I have been I’ll also message my psychiatrist.

this might be a really dumb question but i googled it and couldn't find any answers. if people grow up in north korea believing they're really rich and lucky, and they know the dangers of trying to leave, why do they think to escape? and if people report others to the point where no one even whispers about leaving the country to their closest family/friends, how do they find brokers? it seems like it would be really hard for a north korean defector to even start questioning the regime, let alone somehow find someone who will smuggle them out of the country. maybe brokers exploit the desperate north koreans? but i'm guessing these people don't walk around pyongyang telling people they'll facilitate their escape.

I wanna get gifts for my friends in a few months, but cannot really decide what I should give them.
For context they are furry friends, so it's more of a character thingie, I asked a few things of them what they got and turns out they never got bleach painted clothes even though they find it cool. I was also thinking about papercraft sculpts or even small air dry ones, any ideas that could work the best? (another context is that they are a couple, so that might also spark some ideas)

2025.01.21 13:50 tradingfrombed We moved to Marbella.. And now we want to move AGAIN.
Ok so we did it! We moved to Spain.. We love it. We just feel like... we kind of don't actually live in Spain. We live near Puerto Banus in Nueva Andalucia and we can't walk anywhere, there is no sense of community, we have to drive everywhere. No kids play outside. We kind of came in blind and assumed everywhere was walkable in Spain. It's not. So we have 2 kids an 11 year old who plays futbol (likely going to private next year he feels very left out in public) and a 5 year old daughter who is thriving in the public school. We have 2 options.. give Marbella another chance and move to San Pedro (I feel there is more community there, walking, etc) OR do we change things up completely and move to either L'Eliana, Valencia Centro OR Alicante. I have a million thoughts racing through my head daily. It is so hard to find a long term rental in Marbella, I feel like no one stays here permanently, I want something more unified if that makes sense. Our priorities are good futbol for my son, good schools, community, and at least be able to drive to the beach. Anyone who feels like helping me make this decision... I appreciate you!!
