2025.01.22 00:59 Puzzled-Bid-1382 I just cannot play Far Cry 6
It’s literally impossible to play, it doesn’t feel like far cry at all, nothing in the game makes me want to play. It literally feels more like ghost recon at times but just less fun. I hate having to find guns, let me buy them. I hate how much it feels more like an RPG than far cry. Far Cry 5 was so fun so when I loaded up Far Cry 6 expecting to find a fun game with lots of character and story, I found a game that I really want to enjoy but I just cannot bring myself to enjoying it. All of the characters feel more one dimensional than a paper plate, nobody makes me want to fight for them or even care about their dialogue, I just end up skipping through half of the dialogue because of how boring it is.
This game feels so immediately hollow and RPGish. I just cannot play this game due to how lame it feels to play. I really want to enjoy this game but I feel like if I beat this game I’m just wasting my time playing a game that I don’t enjoy. Everything about it, from the Supremos to the Amigos to the weapon customization and clothes, feels like a game with no substance. I really want to enjoy Far Cry 6 but everything about it just screams cash grab or too half assed to matter.
If you like it that’s fine, but I don’t.

Hi! so i know i'm thinking quite a lot in advance but i start sixthform in september and i'm looking for advice on things i can do / research / books i can read to prepare me for the A Levels i've chosen (Psychology, History and Spanish)
i've studied history and spanish at gcse but my school doesn't offer GCSE psychology so i'm especially wondering what i can do to fill any gaps i might have from not having done gcse
(just for extra context i guess!!) i'm predicted a 7-8 in gcse science and 8/9 in english and 7/8s in everything else
any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you!! :)

2025.01.22 00:59 vgjdotgg My first RPG is KCD, and God, I think I made the right choice
I had never played an RPG in my life, thinking they were only for people who love grinding lootboxes and hunting achievements.
Until I watched KCD2’s trailer.
It made me think, “Hmm… Maybe I should try the first one? See how it goes?”
I got KCD1 Royal Edition for $3 and jumped on it, while also streaming it. As I started the game, I already got a few viewers who were excited to see a greenhorn playing the game for the first time.
At first, I was like, “Oh man, I gotta go there, do this and that, come on… where’s the fun part?”
Then the prologue ended and I was like, “Damn… that’s a good story. Maybe I’ll stick for the story.”
A couple hours later, I thought of giving up again, thinking, “Oh man, the combat’s so hard… maybe I’m not built for a game like this.”
My chat constantly kept telling me to have patience and that I need to learn something called a “masterstrike”.
I learnt it, and I was shocked at how addictive the combat just got. It made me realise that, “Damn… progression and slowly learning stuff is the way to go.”
But I did make a commitment of not stealing or picking locks, or killing and hunting animals just to level up.
A few bandit encounters and ambushes later, I was lurking around all chests and towns to get the best defence gear and also playing a lot of Farkle, hoping to get enough Groschen to keep myself equipped with a lot of Savior Schnapps at all times.
55 hours into the game, and streaming the game for 8 days, I beat the game, teared up at the Martin scene, and now am eagerly excited for the sequel.
I can’t wait and I might as well hop right back in and try a hardmode run soon.
“No way it’s your first RPG,” one viewer wrote. “If KCD1 is your first RPG, you’re spoilt! You won’t be able to enjoy a lot of RPGs ever!”
“Well,” I said. “I might as well wait for KCD2 then.”
