2025.01.22 00:42 yexiariley Absolutely broken at the suggestion of termination
Therapist said I'm doing well and suggested terminating. Also said going over and over my traumatic events is not doing anything good for my OCD. I'm absolutely shattered in pieces. I wish I were different, like some sort of different client who she really loved and cared about and who could be in therapy with her forever. Like a trafficking victim or something. I really just want to go out and get drunk and self-harm like crazy and send her an email with all of this information. I'm heartbroken that I'm going to lose her. Nobody else in the world cares about me like she did or knows how I'm suffering like she does and now I'm going to lose her too. I went into therapy hoping for someone to love me and I was stupid for doing that. I should have never gone in the first place. I should have known a medical provider wasn't going to love me forever, especially with my worried well past.

Considering moving to a suburb of Pittsburgh due to job location. I’m in my mid 30’s and have never lived outside of Southern CA. The job offer would be for the company I am currently at, for the same rate I am getting in CA. Obviously I know my pay will go farther in PA. I would know nobody besides co-workers. I am freezing when it is 50 degrees outside. Obviously the financial situation is the main reason I am considering. Has anybody from CA happily moved to PA & recommend the move?
