I’m working at a office for a lab as a client service rep. I’ve been here for about 3 months. Honestly, I’m aware that I’m not very good at this job. About 20-40% of the time at work I’m making mistakes and fucking up. I’m honestly surprised I’ve lasted this long. I think it’s only because they’re understaffed. When I have to do my work I do my work, I always come in a few minutes early. But I constantly just feel so dumb at this job and everytime I make a mistake I’m scared I’m gonna lose my job. I don’t know how to learn from my mistakes and idk I’m just scared of losing my job I’m trying my hardest to not give them a reason to fire me. What should I do? The job market is rough right now and it’s a miracle I even found this one and they gave it to me. I can’t go back to being unemployed. I’m just very nervous. Anyone have any good advice?

2025.01.22 01:03 Famous-Guarantee-978 Segmental Colitis?? Anyone?
I won't go into detail on what I'm feeling in order to keep this short. I had a colon resection May 9th 2024. Recovery went well. Come October I had some mild continuous pain in my llq but focused center. Fairly mild dull not too sharp.
2 CT scans in December showed distal stranding. Doctor put me on Cipro/Flagyl thinking it was a diverticulitis flair in my distal colon (Below my stitches but above rectum)
That seemed to irritate it more than anything. After a couple weeks it's gone back to the mild lingering pressure.
January 2nd had a colonoscopy. Showed some inflammation but no UC, Diverticulitis (though there's Diverticulosis in the area) and no Crohns. Great! Told me basically no more enimas??? I DONT DO ENIMAS! So left kinda irritated.
Anywho some research pulled up Segmental Colitis. Its inflammation around the Diverticulosis but the pouches are not infected. It generally involves a small segment and doesn't bother the rectum.
Has anyone ever experienced this? I do have a follow up soon with a GI specialist. When...idk yet but I'd like some insight if anyone as experienced this joyous affliction.

I'm kinda nervous. I'm about to be 43, and I'm getting a prosthesis implanted tomorrow. I have repeatedly suffered from priapism over the past 2 years, and this is the solution.
This is all new to me, so I'm not sure what to expect. Any advice, folks?
Also, can someone explain what cycling is? And are vacuum pumps usually used during/adter recovery? I haven't had the full-blown post-op instructions yet.

Hopefully some of you guys are familiar with the USBC apple wired earbuds. If you are, keep it in mind.
I've been searching for almost a year for the perfect type of earbuds for me, and I can't find them. So I wanted to get on here and see if any of you guys could try and pinpoint what I'm talking about.
I'm looking for white, wired, USBC earbuds. (kinda similar to the previously mentioned apple ones) But they have a good range. Like they don't clip or peak out easily.
Now you may be asking why I don't buy the Apple ones, being that they're only $15-20. Well you see they have a very low range, (in loudness. They peak really easily). Like so low that if you just talk the slightest bit louder than a regular speaking voice; It's going to clip. And being someone who has deadlines and certain dates I need to finish things on music and such, I can't really do that.
(I live in the US!)
Just please if any of you can find anything for a reasonable price, it'd be much obliged. I have something I need to finish by January 30th 2025 and I don't have any working microphones.

I keep asking my storyteller as a joke if I can snipe-Command people from a block away by using binoculars and a megaphone, and unfortunately the ruling that I clearly can't do that seems fair no matter how funny it would be. It does make me wonder about just how much can your voice or your eye contact be limited before it just doesn't work.
I know V20 has some rules about higher difficulties for targets wearing mirrored sunglasses or who are completely blind, but what about the verbal component? Could you use some kind of amplifier or voice modulator and still have it work? This would almost certainly be ST fiat in any case, since I don't think any books have ruled on it, but I'm curious how other people would rule it.

I’m having a baby very soon (t-minus 6 weeks!) and will be out of work for a few weeks with no benefits or PTO as I am a 1099-C employee. My partner has a great job but it is highly commission based and he’s been in a bit of a slow season DecembeJanuary (worst timing ever, I know 🥲)
He’s looking to pick-up some part-time work in the evenings after 6:30 PM. 15-25 hours per week. I’m having a hard time coming up with the type of jobs that would offer hours like 7 PM- 12 AM. Any suggestions on where to look? His off days are Sunday and Wednesday so weekend only jobs wouldn’t work :/

Phib stumbled upon Pepecoin while singing in a dingy bog tavern. A shady merchant, wearing a cape stitched from expired crypto wallets, whispered, “Buy the dip or be the dip.” It wasn’t just a meme—it was a movement. Fueled by FOMO, bad decisions, and a questionable potion he drank earlier, Phib tossed his entire treasure hoard into Pepecoin. All 742 swamp coins.

“Frogulus Phib,” Pepe croaked with divine authority. “Are you a weak-limbed tadpole, or are you a true HODLer?”
Phib stammered, “I... I don’t know, O Glorious Frog. I just wanted to make it.”
Pepe’s eyes blazed a brilliant radioactive green. “Weak hands sell. Diamond hands HODL. And only diamond hands will ascend to the Meme Moon. Do you have what it takes, or will you croak in shame?”
THE RISE OF THE PHIB KNIGHT

Ella me propone mantener una relación a distancia durante los próximos cinco años, mientras termina sus estudios, con la idea de regresar a Perú después y continuar nuestra relación. Pero me parece una idea surrealista y egoísta pensar eso. I purchased my 2015 Audi A3 TDI about a year ago. And I noticed some static/popping noises coming from all door speakers. Overtime it got worse and worse until eventually all door speakers stopped working entire. Only the dash speaker and sub worked. I figured I’d just take it to a sound shop and get all new door speakers. After about 30 minutes the sound shop called and told me it’s not the door speakers but the MMI box in the glove box that would need replaced. Audi quoted me 4,700$!!!!!!!!! What a JOKE!
I was doing some research to find a way around paying 5,000$ to fix my speakers and I found a company in the UK called Revtronic. Basically You just send them the computer and they fix the actual unit and send it back to you. I paid 300$ and sent it to them. They had it repaired and back to me in a WEEK! I just got it plugged back into my car and the speakers have never sounded better! Highly recommend them👍
