During Covid, mutual aid programs made it easy to find like-minded community to aid others. How do you find these groups outside of Facebook? I’m looking for communities that will help and assist others as things continue to get worse. If Facebook is the only option, which groups are legit? I’m remember a ton of infighting back in 2020. 2021, I lost touch with some of the people within these grassroots orgs so I’m trying to find my space in them again. Some have seem to have gone underground for their own preservation which I understand.

Hello all. I need some help making a ticker that can scroll vertically upwards and keep the below format. I volunteer my time to support a non profit and trying to incorporate it into special streams and do Charity Streams for them.
I am keep running into issues where the ticker cuts off some of the info. I tried using Text in OBS and then having it read from a file. I tried to create something in Stream Elements and that cut off too. I am at a loss and not sure what else to try. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello all, I (24M) have my first job post undergrad. I make 70k in a MCOL area. I felt the competition was pretty good. I work as a field engineer for a larger electrical contractor.
I just had a performance review where everything went well. They expressed I am excelling and they want me to take on more responsibility and expressed that I would be expected to work longer hours and put in some weekend time while I am pushed into some new roles (we are short staffed yet hiring frantically).
In this meeting they shared I would be getting an annual salary increase of 2.75%.
I have no experience getting raises and I feel like perhaps the internet has lead me to believe I would get a little more.
Is this normal? I understand it depends on the industry. Should i be happy? Why is my gut telling me this is a little underwhelming?

Hi! I'm 21F and work the front desk at an extended stay with about 140 rooms. I am usually the only person at the desk and we have one other person who does maintenance.
I spend the majority of my night alone and have experienced lots of screaming and threats from grown men. I'm just wondering if anyone has any safety advice? My desk is open so anyone could walk around and follow through with their threats and I don't really have a place I could safely hide at.

 | So this issue has been happening since the season dropped, I can't play matches in a row ever, the second match always doesn't load while still counting as "escaped" so I have been losing a lot of cubes and time, the BIGGER problem is with conquest, I can't win a single one, doesn't matter if I win or lose the first round, the rest of the match always doesn't let me in and counts me as "escaped", tried deleting and reinstalling the game too, still the issue persists, and the season is almost done and I haven't neither reached a good rank nor got stuff from conquest token shop. submitted by ORchannel to MarvelSnap [link] [comments] |

1.Weapon blueprints: I have played several campaigns in this game, each trying to make a cool custom weapon but never able too because it takes so long and so many weapons to even try to get higher tier pieces, I really think we should be able to get blueprint either by buying them or by completing certain quests, which brings me to my next suggestion
2.Skill-leveling quests: Like a black smithing quest where you help him with a random objective like getting materials, smelting items for him, retrieving a weapon that got stolen, ect. An engineering quest where you help a village build something like a damn, waterwheel or repair something, and all the while doing this you gain skill XP
- AI fixes: the amount of times i've seen the ai do the dumbest most annoying shit, example i told a unit of troops to go use the ladders a take the walls.
4.Cultural debuff issue: We all hate this, it should either not exist or reduce over time cause christ is it annoying to deal with
5.More unit design variety: Don't get me wrong, i like the designs, i just don't like looking at 7 of the same unit that look exactly the same

I had #1 account, but was unsure on how to log into it, so I decided to use account #2. I figured out how to log into #1 and changed the gamertag, (ex. Gamer) but I put my username as “Gamer(#1234)” on my 2nd account. Now I can’t say that I wanna change my account gamertag to “Gamer” because I already have that username, but I don’t like the #1234. Any way to fix this?

I'm a senior motion graphics artist working at a small studio and most of our clients were through personal references. We're definitely hitting a wall with new client acquisition, and I'm not sure how to seek out new opportunities. I've had mixed results with Tongal, Genero, Quick Frame, etc.. The process feels very cloudy not to mention budgets are cut in half off the top. I'm just curious if anyone has advice for avenues to access opportunities to pitch creative projects.
