Currently in the process of enlisting and just waiting on a ship date, but would like to hear from those whoāve gone on a similar path. For starters I do hold a bachelorās degree in Criminal Justice with a 3.0 gpa so not the stem degree or gpa officer recruiters look for in applicants for OTS. Iāve looked into the nurse enlisted commissioning program as an option, but Iām also maybe even considering AFROTC. Has anyone here gone through the NECP or AFROTC route?

2025.01.22 01:02 Naive-Historian-2110 Does anyone get this weird gut feeling when theyāre sitting down to write?
Maybe for me itās the sudden realisation that āoh my god, Iāve had this idea in my head for so long and now Iām ACTUALLY typing it out and IāM MAKING ITāand it just hits you over and over again. Whenever I think about my projects I get that weird sort of specific gut feeling, and I say GUT feeling because I can feel it actually physically happening in my body. The best way I can describe it is like, having a crush, with all of the butterflies and all that, except itās not being linked to a person or even a character, itās to the idea of creation and writing in general. Sometimes the feeling gets so bad while Iām writing that I actually have to physically walk away and take a break so I donāt get overwhelmed. I canāt really place a positive or negative label on this feeling, itās just kind of there, in a way. Does anyone else get this or is it just me???

I found this email newsletter called WTF Just Happened Today where they distill the news into chunks with links and multiple sources referenced, so you can dig deeper or not. I just wanted to spread the word about it. I'm finally finishing the show. I rewatched the first 2 seasons. Now I'm on season 5. I really liked the first 2 seasons and most of S3. But now im just not as into it. I feel like I keep skipping more scenes, especially S4. I'm really not into Denny. He just doesn't seem well placed at all and has a lack if emotion. Maybe he will grow on me, but idk. It feels like he was thrown in. I was never a huge fan of Lizzy but started to like her until the end of S3. Now I just don't care for her. Denny is my least favorite. I've been skipping a lot of his scenes and Lizzy's scenes. I'm kinda done with them. I actually like Brie's character. Im not sure if she should be with Brady though but its interesting. Ive seen some complain about Mel and Jack but I lo8ke them too. I also like the sewing circle, Doc and Hope. I wish Preacher and Paige could start something. He did a lot for her.. I just.. idk. Just seems off I guess. Maybe it's the writing..
I might buy the books on Amazon. I think I'll enjoy them better.
