I’m currently in my last semester of university studying mechanical engineering. I haven’t really enjoyed the course, mostly the experience. I’ve enjoyed the project modules, thermodynamics, materials and I’ve taken an interest in prosthetics and bio engineering. I had to retake my second year, which capped my retaken modules at 40%. I’ve just flopped my first semester and now I feel like it’s too late to do anything about it. My university is one of the lowest ranked, so I feel like to come out with a low grade, would make the whole experience pointless, who would hire me with a bad grade from a bad uni. On top of this, It’s hit me that I’ve got no work experience and I don’t even know what the industry is like, I really don’t know what to do or how to get myself out of this mess. It’s keeping me up at night. The past few months of so I’ve had a breakdown about it most nights, I feel lost don’t know what to do with my life. I feel like such a failure and I don’t want to let my family down, they think I’m a lot better than I am. I can’t bring myself to get up in a morning and my eating habits are horrible and I’ve stopped caring about the gym and working out. The stress and panic of graduating in three months and not knowing what to do or even if I’ll be able to get into the engineering industry is taking over my life. What would you do in this situation, would you look for last minute work experience, take a year out to gain experience, or just try and get a job with my possibly bad grade.

Yes, Ben was a great offensive coordinator for us, and I’m genuinely grateful for the success he helped bring to the team. But I’m surprised by the level of disbelief and even hostility toward fans who are upset about how he left. We all knew he was going to leave at some point, and I’m not criticizing his decision to move on. What’s making us upset is the timing and the way it all played out. Fans also invest a lot of time and money into supporting the team, often spending thousands of dollars and rearranging their schedules to be there. To have Ben leave for a division rival just a day and a half after the season ends is a bad look and understandably frustrates the fanbase, espcially when a lot of us are still processing that loss on Saturday. His playcalling that game was also not very good, and there were reports that he was already busy assembling a staff for his next job. So, what does that tell us about his focus/preparation? He was also the top candidate for many head coaching positions, so it’s not like he didn’t have leverage to take his time with his decision. Kliff Kingsbury didn’t take any HC interviews due to the playoffs and is now in the NFCCG.

2025.01.22 01:23 watermoose247 Lengthening time before night feed

My 4 month old previously slept pretty well (7-8 hours uninterrupted) before being hit by the 4 month regression that meant he was up almost every hour. We’re 2 days into Ferber and it’s going pretty well- once he’s asleep he’s been down for 5ish hours before waking up at which point I’ve been feeding him with 5-3-3 in mind.
I would obviously love to go longer than 5 hours and return to the blissful 7-8 hour sleeps. Wondering whether it’s ok to treat the wake up at 5 hours like a normal wake-up and do checks etc as I know hes physically capable of going 7/8 hours or whether there’s a better way to extend the 5 hour window? Or should I just count my blessings and carry on with 5-3-3 for now??

2025.01.22 01:23 Bigboss1799 2025 Camry Dash Problem

Hey everyone. My wife and I bought a 25 se and loved it. My wife has never shown any interest in car care till last week. She grabbed some Armor All wipes that we had from previous vehicles and wiped the dash down. That’s when it all went downhill. So the dash looks almost dried out. We thought they were scratched but definitely not scratches, it’s almost like it’s dry or what my mechanic friend said is like the figment has been pulled out. It’s crazy. We have tried the glass cleaner, we have tried mcquires, and even cerakote ceramic coatings. Nothing helps. Just in a constant state of looking faded and dried out. We got the best result from the cerakote. What I found today was if I leave my hand in the cold dash, it’s like 12° in Nashville, my warm handprint makes then dryness look go away. Then as the cold air hits it again the fading comes back. So I’m wondering is maybe this is all just happening because of the freezing weather we have and maybe I’ll try a hairdryer and apply a little heat and try and wipe off. We have used the dawn dish soup dilution but I’m not convinced there is anything to remove. My mechanic buddy said we should file a claim with armor all or take it to dealer cause he thinks there was some type of failure between the two and this shouldn’t have happened. I’ll get some good photos tomorrow if anyone wants to chime in with their thoughts. Cars awesome but it’s all you can see when you’re driving! I know that’s a lot to read. Thanks everyone.

Hello! So my ID is expiring next month, and I have a few things I'd like to update, but I'm not very good with these things, so I was wondering if I could get some help!
I moved out on my own for the first time 2 months ago, and I'd just decided to wait to apply to change my address until closer to it expiring.
I'd like to change my: 1. address 2. get a new photo 3. change my gender marker
Would it be possible and acceptable to do all of this in one trip?
I believe I need 2 forms to do this, a DL-32 for my gender marker, and a DL-54B for my ID.
Can I just print and fill them out at home and walk in to the DMV and get it all done there in one day? I read online something a out a camera card, but I'm unsure of what that is and if that's relevant to my situation anyways. (Also not sure if relevant, I do not have a driver's liscense)
Sorry if this seems like an obvious answer! I appreciate any help. Thank you!

Cliff notes version: Needs to be 4x4 and want it to be a safe (decent crash rating) and I want it to be something that I don’t think twice about jumping in and driving 1000 miles (I understand this comes down to maintenance). Not a hard budget
Long story Starting to grow up and learn that having the nicest/newest trucks isn’t all that. Often times it’s just a way to get from point A to B
In the last 5-6 years I have had many newer F-150s, Silverados, a Tacoma. Always newer and under warranty because I thought that was the best way to make sure it’s ready to go on any trip at a moments notice. Currently have a clean low mileage 1st gen Raptor with the 6.2L V8. Been a good truck, minimal issues and I get 15mpg. I own it out right but part of why it’s valueable is low mileage and good shape. The more I used it the more it loses value. If I put 50k more miles on it, it will be worth say $12-$15k less so decent size loss in a few years. Currently worth mid to upper $30’s due to condition.
So I’m wondering about trying to find a rock solid reliable truck around $20k and want to get your thoughts?
