2025.01.22 01:22 avenels I feel confused about my Hydrocephalus diagnosis/life with untreated “normal pressure” (?) hydrocephalus
Long story short, I was diagnosed 10 years ago at 18 with hydrocephalus. I believe it was characterized as “early onset” or “normal pressure”, but can’t remember. At the time, it wasn’t progressing, but she said I’ve likely had it since birth but it was never caught until that moment. I wasn’t given much information that I remember but I was young, I don’t recall most of that visit. I do remember that my doctor never mentioned a shunt, and I only recently learned that brain shunts are used for most hydrocephalus cases. Admittedly, I didn’t follow up until now aside from treating side effects like vision issues and migraines. I went to the neuro today and he seemed shocked at my diagnosis because I’m managing how I always have without any medical intervention. I even looked at my old medical records from my visit 10 years ago and it never specifically mentioned a hydro diagnosis, but I specifically remember my doctor telling me I have it. And, during a hospital visit where they needed to take an MRI of my brain (unrelated) they confirmed “yes, I see what you’re talking about with the hydrocephalus”. Anyway, I feel confused. Does anyone else not have a shunt and just go about their lives basically not treating this? I get shocked reactions when I explain all of this. I also don’t have a medical paper trail to follow to find this diagnosis, just verbal confirmation from two doctors. I kinda feel crazy honestly. Is there ever a chance that hydrocephalus is misdiagnosed or is it pretty obvious to see? Thanks in advance

Informed my gf a couple days ago that my emotions and love for her is not as strong as it once was at that idk if we’re right for each other. She’s a couple hours away so we’re meeting to talk and I’ve made up my mind so I’m breaking up with her. This is a weird feeling. I feel so guilty but I can’t control how I feel. I want her to be happy and be with someone who loves her equally bc she’s great but it makes me mad thinking about it. And I’ve been wondering if whoever she ends up with next will treat her right, but do I even get to after hurting her like this? That was three days ago I told her that, I’ve texted her since to check in and make sure she was safe and she just now responded and I understand. When we meet, I’d love it if I could tell her how much she improved me and tell her about the light she brought to my life but I think it’d hurt thinking about that. She’s super strong, I know she’ll be okay but what do I even do. Dark lonely times are ahead, but I’d go through hell if it meant she’d be safe and treated well.

Please help me!
I just want to read Paycheck since I heard Severance was inspired by it and I've loved the PKD books I've read thusfar.
However, this book is apparently impossible to find in the US? I prefer ebooks. It didn't exist in either of my libraries. Then it didn't exist on amazon to buy. Then any ebook site I found said it wasn't available in my country? So I VPNed to a couple of other countries with no luck there either.
I switched to regular books and they aren't in my libraries either. How the heck are y'all able to read this one?!

I was reassessed by my psychiatrist today, and the note she gave me for my work contains what I think is inappropriate information for my work to know about my condition/treatment. I guess I’m not 100% sure what my question is, but am I allowed to redact the part of the letter that has personal information before I email it to my employer? Or should I just send it the way it is? 😔😔

أنا في العادي مش من النوع اللي يجرب حاجات زي الـ dating apps والكلام ده، بس في فترة كده كنت حاسس إن الدنيا بقت روتينية بزيادة. شغل، بيت، نفس الصحاب، نفس الأماكن… فقلت أجرب، يمكن ألاقي حاجة جديدة. نزلت التطبيق، وفضلت ألف شمال ويمين لحد ما لقيت “ماتش” مع بنت اسمها ندى. صورتها بسيطة وابتسامتها حلوة كده، فيها حاجة خطفتني. قلنا نبدأ دردشة، واتضح إنها بنت دمها خفيف وكلامها يدخل القلب.
اتكلمنا كام يوم، ولاحظت إن عندنا حاجات مشتركة كتير، بنحب نفس الأغاني القديمة، عندنا نفس الهوايات، وحتى بنشرب القهوة بنفس الطريقة – سادة بدون سكر. الكلام بقى كل يوم، لحد ما جه اليوم اللي قررنا فيه نتقابل.
اخترنا كافيه في وسط البلد، كنت متوتر بصراحة، بس أول ما شوفتها وقعدنا نتكلم، حسيت إننا نعرف بعض من زمان. كأننا صحاب من أيام المدرسة. كنا بنتكلم في كل حاجة وأي حاجة… الشغل، الحياة، السفر، حتى الأحلام اللي دايمًا بنأجلها. اللي عجبني فيها إنها بسيطة وواقعية، مش بتتكلّف ولا بتصطنع أي حاجة.

I found a woman on a porn site that seems to be my ex wife. The video has been up for a year on this site and it appears the same person has also uploaded the video to multiple other porn sites as well, but this is a very popular one.
The way the video is cropped it seems this may have been uploaded without her knowledge or consent as the other person’s face is not shown.
We have two young children together. The way the video is named, it’s not out of the question others may stumble upon it.
We coparent, so we are on ok terms, but the divorce was very difficult for everyone.
Should I let her know? Should I send a message anonymously? Or let it be.
I personally have lots of mixed feelings about this that are hard to sort out. She cheated on me and it’s possible we were still married when this was made. It’s hard to separate these feelings from the situation, and tbh she may also have a hard time separating the situation with our situation so I’m leaning towards not telling her unless it’s anonymous.

Printing D&D Minis and having trouble. My test print came out fine, but of the 3 mini’s I’ve attempted to print, none of them have had anything short of a catastrophic failure.
I’m very new to 3D printing and I’m just using settings my friend recommended to me, or at least what I could apply.
However, my prints come out extremely “fuzzy”, and lose a lot of detail, compared to the model.

2025.01.22 01:22 Pipki Marvel Rivals not detected in GHub
Help! I can't seem to get the steam game Marvel Rivals to be detected in GHub. I've tried setting it as a custom app, and pointed to both the Marvel.exe (located in the \MarvelGame\ folder), as well as the Marvel-Win64-Shipping.exe. In fact I've literally added every single exe I could find int he folder one by one to no avail.
Just to note, the Marvel-Win64-Shipping.exe is what I'm directed to when I look in the Task Manager and say open file location on the Marvel Rivals process).
Any ideas on how I could fix this? No matter what I try, I can't get GHub to detect when I launch the game and switch the the profile.
