I’m creating the different continents for a world, and I’d like to include a volcanic island chain that formed similar to the way Hawaii formed, except the islands are all connected. I’m stuck on whether to make it a fully close circle or a C shape, and how either would affect the ocean inside it. I’d love to hear what others think, any effect either shape may have big or small, or other ideas that would have interesting environmental effects.

The title might sound weird but I am very confused. How I learned it was that if you are in referral to movement, the accusative case is used like in “Ich gehe in die Schule” and when it is stationary than dative is used like in “Ich bin in der Schule”. But both google translate and a language app say that it is grammatically correct to say “Zu welchem Konzert gehen wir?” But that doesn’t make sense to me because it’s using the dative case in terms of movement. I just need some clarification on that rule and if that sentence is grammatically correct.

When I open SparkAR on my computer, I can still see my created filter within the program. I also have the created filter saved onto my computer as a file.
What other platforms or services will allow me to upload this filter in its currently saved format?
I really like the degree to which you can customize certain things using SparkAR, and would like to continue using the program to create…then put my filters for recording and usage.. elsewhere, in another program that’s not Insta.
Another question I have is this…are there any app developers out there who could make an app or computer software where I can load my filter and record with it? I’d like to be able to offer this for myself and anyone who wants it as well..a sort of “here are a lot of filters you can use, record within this program using any filter you like, and save your video or photo for your own personal use.” Would that type of app or software be extremely expensive for me to have made? Does anyone know how I might go about this? Would it still be possible to use SparkAR to make these filters?

So I have an elite series 2 controller and I open up steam, went to controller settings, and installed "Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver" option. And then I loaded up Fortnite on PC and then my controller starts making everything go crazy, so then I went to the accessories app to test out the buttons and then I saw that A Button is "Enter" X Button is "Page Up" B Button is "Space" and Y is Page Down and then the d-pads are arrows and the Right Stick is the cursor. I tried fixing it by uninstalling the extended drivers from steam and then restarted my pc and nothing worked, I then reinstalled the drivers again and still nothing worked. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem that was able to fix it and that they could let me know please

(Mentions of Pet Death TW) I have Twin Cats who are living with my Mother because my current accommodation doesn't allow Pets. My eventual plan was to take my Cats back after I could be stable enough to take them.
I've been asking her to take one of them to the Vet since before Christmas. She kept insisting he was fine. They've never been separated for more than two days.
Yesterday I got the call that the one who was sick has now died. It happened in the morning, he was left alone with his brother all night with the neighbours only checking in on them in the morning. It was likely preventable if she had taken him to the Vet earlier. It's not that she can't afford to, it's that she has NPD and it is a way for her to keep control.
I didn't want her to have my Cats in the first place but I didn't have the choice of alternative options. Since having the Cats I've been trying to have regular visits with them.
After losing one of the Twins, I really don't feel like I can trust my Mother to take care of my remaining Cat. My options are to sneak my Cat into my Place, but I'd risk losing my stability and my Mother would probably take Legal Action, as She has claimed in the past She will make it difficult for Me to have them.
Or I leave my Cat with my Mother, and now I have to live with the Fear and Guilt of knowing She is not looking after my remaining Cat and I can't trust that He will be looked after.
I don't want to use a Shelter or Adopt Him out to someone else. I've already lost His Brother just yesterday and I can't lose Him too.
There's no extended Family or Friends I can ask for Help about this. What are my Options that I haven't thought of?.

2025.01.22 04:44 earlyswims Dex to Vyv conversion: Am I taking too much Vyvanse?
I have scripts for both 5mg of Dex and 40mg of Vyv (mostly because that's what was available). My psych told me to play around a bit with dosages (within reason) but suggested I could try 15mg of Dex in the morning and 15mg in the evening. I used the dose converter which told me 30mg of dex is equivalent to about 90mg Vyvanse. I tried 80mg and it worked fine for me, but then I read that's more than the recommended daily amount... Not sure what to do.
I have a follow-up apt mid-year, but apparently if I send my psych an email with a question (aka that one), they have the right to charge me the full rate of an appointment which obviously I do not want lol

We are a NZ couple with one dependent travelling to Shanghai in July for work. We will have visas organised by our school for the 3 of us into China. However, we will also have our 18 year old who will also be travelling with us (school said we have to sort the visa for him as he's an adult). We were hoping to sponsor him on a family visa but realise we can't do that without the RP which we'll only get after we arrive in China. Is the only option for him to enter China with us, on an L visa? How long can this be for? Does he really have to have a return flight to our home country, or just an onward ticket out of China? IDEALLY we'd like to apply for a family visa for him once we get our RP's through. Any advice greatly appreciated to navigate this situation.
