Диванные политологи всех стран, соединяйтесь! Отойдём от темы России, Трампа, римских салютов и т.п. Мои взгляды в силу возраста и настроения иногда могут менятся в течении нескольких дней, но сейчас они таковы
Обсудим условную страну X
1) Классический либерализм. Государство и налоги есть, но они минимальны. Защита от монополий. Государство заботится только о тех, кто не может позаботится о себе сам. Налоги прогрессивные, но умеренные
Условно: 0-15 000$ в год 0% налоговая ставка, 30 000$ - 500 000$ в год 5-15% ставка
Зато прогрессивные штрафы, чем выше доходы тем выше штрафы (как в Швейцарии)
2) Прямая демократия. Чиновников выкинуть нахуй на улицу! Ну почти. Я люблю политическую схему Швейцарии. Референдумы по воли народа, почти на любую тему. С минимальными ограничениями, чтобы холокост не устроили например
Поэтому меня нельзя назвать либертарианцом, потому что демократия диктатура большинства. Но учесть интересы прям ВСЕХ людей не получится
Но одно ограничение. Голосовать можно только после образовательного теста на знание политической системы, экономики и истории. Такой же как в тесте на гражданство. Мигранты в США например сдают же тест на знание конституции. Чтобы водить машину нужно права, потому что без знаний вы и себя и других можете укокошить. А при управлении государством любой долбаёб может голосовать. Низя. Только при знании государственного устройства и базовых знаний
3) Фильтры для мигрантов. Должна быть почти полная свобода для граждан и диктатура и линия партии для мигрантов
Условно мы кружок людей со своими ценностями и интересами. Права женщин и геев например исповедуем. В наш кружок может войти любой человек если он исповедует такие же взгляды. Если он считает, что женщины обязаны сидеть дома, а геев кидать с крыш, то пусть возращается в свою помойку, а то у нас будет парадокс толератности
Если мигрант совершает уголовное преступление депортация и пожизненный запрет на въезд
Срок получения гражданства зависит от предыдущего гражданства. Например для получения Французского гражданства немцу потребуется прожить 3 года, американцу 5 лет, россиянину 10 лет, китайцу 15 лет, японцу 7 лет, афганцу 30 лет. В зависимости от того как предыдущая страна соответсвует культуре Франции например. Возможно уменьшение срока например за заслуги, волонтёрство, работу, налоги, интеграцию и т.п. Такое уже есть в Австрии. Беженцы могут получить гражданство за 6 лет вместо 10 за заслуги такие как работа, знание языка и волонтёрство. Сроки для получения гражданств пусть установят граждане на референдуме
Для граждан полная свобода слова без ограничей как в США. Мигранты должны соблюдать те правила которые будут устанавливать граждане на референдуме. Нельзя кидать зиги, требовать введение халифата, митинги за пластелин и т.д. Гражданам можно, потому что если мы считаем например нацизм плохой идеей то мы должны работать над этой проблемой и предлагать гражданам альтернативу если они поварачиваются в сторону этой идеи. Мы не можем депортировать своих граждан, некуда. А мигрантов можем, пусть исповедуют свои идеи о нацизме или халифате в другом месте, их проблемы мы не решаем

2025.01.22 06:46 Guts_Philosopher Stomach/Abdominal Cramps/Pain occurring every night - Please help
I will try to add as much detail below to help identify what this may be.
I am a 6' 26 year old male. For about a week now, I have been having consistent abdomina/stomach cramps/pain every night approximately 2-3 hours after falling asleep. It is not super severe, but it is a mild cramp that always wakes me up and it takes maybe 15 to 45 minutes to drift back to sleep depending on when it dissipates.
This all began last Tuesday when I went to receive a hepatitis A & B shot. This was approximately 8 pm. Following this, I bought a pastry from the store next to the clinic, went home, worked out for a bit (incline walk on a treadmill and some bodyweight leg exercises), and then following the workout, ate a post-workout meal + the pastry I bought.
The pain began that night (i.e. Wed around 3 to 4 AM). Aside from this, the only other variable that has changed is that I took about 4 to 5 Ashwagandha capsules infrequently through the two weeks prior to the night of the pain (maybe from Jan 2nd to Jan 11th - took about 4 to 5).
No other variable has changed that I can think of: Diet, exercise routine, sleeping patterns, stress levels, etc. Everything remains the same more or less.
I will note, this sharp cramp/pain (it feels more like cramping, and when I burp or pass any gas, I do feel some relief), occurs more at night during the 2 to 3 hours post falling asleep. My suspicion is that this may be since I am laying down (since when I get this cramping at night, when I wake up due to it, if I sit upright, I automatically feel relief in the cramping sensations). Throughout the day, I sometimes do get discomfort, but it isn't too strong and is not super disruptive (of course, still inconvenient, nontheless).
Further information:
- I went to my doctor and he said it is nothing serious from his estimate and should go away on its own. He told me to take tylenol and buscopan. He suspects it is food poisoning from the pastry.
- I can eat more or less fine, although I am intentionally avoiding very hard foods, and have not had any vomiting or consistent Diarrhea (aside from one day where two times during the day I did).
- I also did do resistance training and felt 0 discomfort during, and within the hours after as well. In fact, I felt a bit more alleviated from the pain while training (this could simply be since I was just fully present and the adrenaline rush, so doubt this detail has much relevance but I'll leave that conclusion to you).

Everyone knows this tactic of the INC where someone does something bad, and they are usually young teens up and older, their parents get stripped off from their duty. I have a friend who believes in the INC but even she knows how stupid it is. She says that the culprit are just being themselves doing whatever they want in their free will, and that their parents have no control over them or have done their best despite them being their offspring, but they are still old enough to make their own decisions. I couldn’t agree more. What does a person’s own doing have anything to do with their parents’ duty? If they have failed to do their “duty” as a parent, that still shouldn’t relate entirely with their duty/duties inside the church and have them fired from them. I think I know the reason why the INC does this.
Filipino narcissism.
This cult tactic/fear tactic of the INC is based off of toxic Filipino culture. They think that the parents duty of being a parent also connects with their duties in the church and if they fail to convince their child to stop doing that doesn’t please the lord and savour Eduardo than all of their duties go down the drain. It’s the Filipino/Asian narcissistic version of perfectionism, where one tiny flaw defines everything that’s fine. I think it’s also because the cult tries very hard to make the parents control their children just as hard as they control their members in general. Their teachings and lessons regarding the parents are just a ploy to get their young members into submitting to the church administration, especially as the previous older generations pass away. No one should have to live like this. We shouldn’t have to fear having our parents get fired off from their duty and then getting severely upset over us and the church just because we do normal things like everyone else that are not necessarily bad and illegal but they just go against the teachings of some aggressive dumbass Filipino cult. This is literally the Asian stereotype of shaming your ancestors just because you failed to do something small. So what if we have a boyfriend or girlfriend if they are not INC? So what if we drink and have parties? That’s just life Eddy boy. There’s more to life than church. Especially to a cult with baseless stupid doctrines.
Some of you may think that the INC is just a cult and none of it matters, including having a duty and membership inside and you’re better off without it. And yeah, that’s true, but it is still severely unfair to those who just believe in the doctrines and are not really to blame and just want to have duties out of their personal preferences. Us being human does not relate to our parents’ duties. Shame on this cult for thinking that parents letting their sons and daughters be human and do basic human things that go against the specific personal preferences of the Manalos not only define the rest of their duties that do not correspond to real life and only inside an isolated cult, but also defines the rest of the efforts that their parents had done to raise to children from the ground up. From teaching them valuable life lessons, giving them food and education, and tips on how to be a good person.
Our parents have done their job of being a parent. Don’t you dare say that they didn’t just because we didn’t satisfy your little bitty doctrines and preferences. Our parents should not have their duties unfairly removed just because we may have our own personal beliefs and want to do certain things such as relationships and leaving this god forbidden cult. We are grown ass people.
This form of narcissism is like as if cancer and aids intermixed with each other and got out of a person and manifested into a demon that decided to control the entire world.
A Christian church that runs from toxic Filipino culture…now that is fucking terrifying.

Hi guys! After reading some posts in this group, I think this group is a solid group to hopefully get some advice and clarity!
So, I’m 33f and have been in a relationship with 41M since I was 23. When meeting him, he had been divorced with two kids for over 2-3 years. Now, as a 23 year old. I know I had no business being anyone’s step mom, but my kindness and innocence got me there.
Now, being young and not having much experience I didn’t know how to handle a blended family. But, I also was involved in a very toxic blended family where he didn’t know how to balance both his ex and I and then her and I were at each other’s throats. All the fun stuff! Well during the first few years I wanted to have kids and get married. He never initiated anything. Never wanted to talk about the future. But as I got older and matured and calmed down and the kids got older. The whole drama scene died. So, in my head I was like “maybe now that the storm is calm, now we can talk about marriage and kids” and that was about 5-6 years in. Well, we would and he just wouldn’t say anything. So finally in 2023, I stopped. I stopped bringing anything up about the future and started to work on myself.
Now, that has included A LOT of change. I worry just about myself now. In all ways. He’s done some work on himself but now that he sees that I’m happy and my care for his kids and ex are not anything I worry about anymore, he all of a sudden wants to talk about kids and marriage.
So my question, single or single dads… I understand having a toxic relationship is tiring and exhausting and hard to think future with, but now that I’m in a clear space and you can see it, does he truly want to consider those things cause he sees the happy girl he once knew or am I reading it wrong? 😑

Potsie here! I’m wondering if any of you here have had children, specifically been pregnant, and what that experience was like for you? I’ve wanted children since I was young, and now that I as an adult who’s thinking about it more seriously, the prospect scares me in regards to my health issues! I am wondering if you had any health complications, or struggles that were specific to POTS (or EDS if you have that too)I am also curious how you coped with the postpartum journey as well, having to get up at all hours, esp suffering with CFS, and the healing process? It is hard to find doctors who know much of anything, and the internet is not much of a help to me most of the time either. So I am hoping that some of you might have some good information to send my way!

In RCIA this week we we discussing marriage and how it is a covenant. Our teacher described that a covenant is a deep spiritual promise, where you give yourself and expect nothing in return.
But then I thought about the marital debt and how many Catholics (not necessarily me, just saying) still believe that you have an obligation to your spouse to sleep with them when requested or you are committing a sin.
I have so many doubts and arguments against the Marital debt, especially since the church focuses heavily on consent being necessary for marriage. Sex is not considered consensual if one party objects internally but feels obligated to perform, that sounds a whole lot like coercion. We are to give ourselves to our partner’s freely, but then why are we obliged to sleep with them when we have ANY reason, not just the extreme ones I see brought up in article after article.
I really do want some clarity on what purpose imposing the marital debt could have in modern marriages where we know that sexual desire is not something that builds in people until they explode and cheat. How does it align with the covenant where we should not expect anything in return?
