I’ve made my friend a tres leches cake for his birthday for the past couple years now, but now he lives across the country. I was wondering if it would be possible to make his tres leches cake and ship it overnight? It would be in a small-ish tin. I’m thinking with lots of ice packs and cushioning. Considering it’s also winter, I think there’s a good chance it could stay cold enough to arrive there.
Does anyone have any tips for this? Or is it worth doing? Tres leches NEEDS to be cold so I’m not sure it’s the best mail-safe one, but it’s his favorite. Any advice much appreciated

Me and my LO we're cool. We have a safe, healthy place in each other's lives. But he'll always be my LO and I'd probably come running if he snapped his fingers. But he doesn't snap. As a recovering lifelong limerent I have to remain ever vigilant and the awareness this sub has brought me is key. Here's how it plays out:
David Lynch is dead. I post an image of Snoqualmie Falls with Baldamenti's Twin Peaks theme song. I notice he's liked it from a musical group's account that he manages. I play the song on repeat while I shower (two classic limerent behaviors). The rusty limerent synapses start to fire up. I'm imagining he liked the photo as a secret signal to keep all our mutual friends oblivious to our connection, and that he was obsessed with Twin Peaks like I was since we were both in high school at the time. Then there's a record scratch, the sound of brakes screeching as my conscious brain takes the wheel.
Conscious brain scolding limerent brain: really? A secret message? Don't you think it's more likely he was in the other profile scrolling as he has been lately (you would know, since you're hyper aware of his online habits) and hit like completely unaware and went on with his day?
Then I walk back the thought process to its origin, correct course, post it here and go on with my day.
P.s. David Lynch's death has probably caused a resurgence in limerence due to the fact that we were all collectively limerent for a dead body for several years in the 90s.

So I am confused on which one I will be getting.
The first rcf looks beat up and have been into a couple of accidents and got the 95k miles on it everything has been repaired however there is a couple of scratches here and there.
The second has around 130k miles on although it’s accident free, comes with a full service history and a service contract from the dealer, looks clean.
The second one looks more appealing, but it’s 2k more expensive and am worried that the high mileage might impact maintenance costs and the resale value significantly if I wanted to sell it in the future.
What do you guys think?

My boy is turning 1 in a few months. My husband and I plan to start small and slow with parties for him. We don't feel it is necessary at this young age to celebrate outside of the family. My social circle has expanded greatly since having a baby but the idea of all these birthday parties coming up doesn't excite me. I understand that this may be a unique opinion but I don't want to spend every weekend at a baby's party.
I am happy to celebrate my adult friends' birthdays and once my boy is old enough to enjoy a party himself I see myself being selective about what parties we to go to but I don't want to start going to my friends kids parties just because I am friends with their mum. For those of you that are of similar thought. How did you navigate this? Did you find your adult friends were offended if you didn't come to their child's party? Did it create division in your friendship? How did you answer invitations when gracefully declining.

How can I use my Xreal Air 2 glasses with Samsung Dex with Mouse and Keyboard? I have a usb c hub that lets me use my S24 ultra with mouse and keyboard. It also has a HDMI port that I can use with the xreal HDMI adapter only, but whenever I connect it with my phone the M&K stop working. I'm not a tech guy and I can't figure out how to make it work. Is there a way I can make this workwith a different hub and without the xreal HDMI adapter? if not how can I use my glasses with m&k on samsung dex?
